Hotshots Sports Bar & Grill

Been sitting here for fifteen minutes, still haven’t received service. Seems they are more interested in doing shots with the bar customers than waiting tables. Never been on Unilocal before, had time to sign up, confirm and write this review. Still no service.

I set the bar very low when I went to this hotshots the first time. I told myself I would be happy if I got a beer and some greasy bar food. Our waitress was MIA. I finally got a beer. Our food took forever and was disappointing. The whole visit was frustrating. Will never go here again.

Not bad, waitress was nice, food was good, & decently priced. Had the spicy breaded chicken sandwich & fries! Can’t remember if they had Dr. Pepper or not because they had long hammer IPA on draft!
There were a few dirty tables that would of been nice to sit at, but we had to settle with a small table on the outside edge which wasn’t very convenient for three people.

Went out with some friends for an evening and we decided on this hotshot location. I didn’t personally have food but everyone who did enjoyed it and it was decent sized portions. Decent bar scene have a large darts area along the back wall and drink specials. The outside sitting area is nice too.

Met here with a co-​worker of mine to evaluate some business and shoot the shhhh. One of his preferred spots to «work from home». The place is like your average sports bar, but with the girls dressed in a scandalous referee theme… I didn’t mind.
The place was fairly quiet during the lunch afternoon. I enjoyed that, our server was nice. Me and my comrade both ordered Stella’s and they brought it to us in «PINT» glasses… this is the incorrect glass to pour that type of beverage in. After the pint, my comrade gave the server and bartender the «101» with Stella Artois in the most humorous manner possible. The incident was quickly resolved, and YES the Stella did taste that much better. There were a couple instances where I was annoyed by a few fruit flies circling my head. Had to swat at ‘em some. All in all, a relatively productive outing and chill place in the early to late afternoon. A-​OK.

I like the wings.
Cheeseburger was good, and they ‘ran it thru the garden’. Lynette gave the pizza a thumbs up. Bill liked his Royale. Amy really liked her Turkey Club. The garlic fries are pretty intense. Our waitress Kaylin was nice.
Turn the music down a little & get another star, manager.

What a shitty St. Louis dive! I loved it!!! Ask for Rachael, don’t drink fireball… that is all.

I rarely go to HotShots, if at all. The last time I went there, it was my first time. Yes, a HotShots virgin. One of my co-​workers, who worked as a contractor at the Maritz campus also had a waitress/​bar-​tending side job here. So, I went in to peruse their drinks.
This time, I ended up taking my mother here for mother’s day. Now I know what you guys are thinking, «why take your mom here for mother’s day». Well, all the rest of the establishments were probably jam packed with people and this was the closest establishment to her house. Plus, my mom wanted a beer.
So, I walked in and this place was dead on mother’s day, so we ended up having a lot of choices on where to sit. We ended up choosing the table closest to the door. I sized up the joint and this place is pretty huge for a bar and grill. There are a lot of TV screens, a nice gaming station and some pretty upbeat people needing a place to unwind.
Our waitress was extremely quick to give us attention and we placed our orders. My mom wanted some chicken strips with fries, and when she found out that they didn’t have a basket like that on the menu, the waitress immediately began making suggestions and offered substitutions, so that mom got her chicken strips and fries.
Since they had a gyro on the menu, I decided on trying that, since I love gyros. I wasn’t disappointed at all. It was a freaking decent gyro.
I am sort of upset that this place doesn’t get too much business. They could use a huge advertisement campaign in their direction. Plus, it doesn’t hurt to at least install booths instead of having all those wooden tables and chairs. Those wooden chairs can get uncomfortable if you sit in them for a while.
