Great restaurant. The building and décor are beautiful. The food is great. Service is above and beyond. I personally love it when the waiters take«to go» food in the back to box it up… and they do. I am not a huge fan of house dressing on the salad… but the ranch dressing is yum. The lunch menu is very reasonable and way too much food. :) There never seems to be a crowd at this restaurant. I am not sure why and am cautiously posting this review because I like to not have a wait. However, I do feel the restaurant deserves a good review. I usually order the pasta con broccoli. It comes with a touch of read sauce. I order it without and they happily oblige. I usually order olive oil and parmesan cheese as well. They actually use fresh parmesan and additional seasonings. Yum again.

Terrazza Grill is owned by the Lombardo family and I was excited to try this location that is closer to me than their downtown location. Its in a great location in Arnold and very reasonably priced establishment. We started off with their version of toasted ravioli which doesn’t look like the«norm». Its filled much more with meat and overstuffed to perfection. We then each got the pizza with bacon and a side salad, then the buffalo chicken sandwich. We didn’t leave hungry, it was all delicious! The atmosphere is great. You are welcomed into the restaurant by a stone fireplace, ready to warm you up. The bar is huge and there is plenty of seating. The staff is knowledgeable and ready to assist you in whatever you might need.

This place is in my top restaurants to eat at. The food is amazing & you must try their signature ravioli. It’s the best I’ve ever had. The service is always excellent & we rarely have to wait for a table. This restaurant is a perfect 10!

Had dinner there and ordered the pasta Food was ok until I pulled a very long hair from the pasta I had in my mouth And then I called the waitress over to ask if the cooks had hair nets? She said they wear ball caps. The manager was called over and said he’ll change out the dish No apology and when I asked what the cooks used for hair nets I was greeted with attitude . Won’t be back.

Ravioli was good. But when the main dish came out they served me spoiled chicken on my salad. I will not return. I could have gotten food poisoning.

Came here for a work Christmas party. This was my first visit and it was great. The food was great and the service was good, but o was disappointed with the refilling of my drink. The server did not put more ice in it. I was a server before and I know you always give more ice unless they asked for no ice. One negative to a lot more positive things.

This place is terrible. Bad food and bad service. The best of the worst was their boiled ravioli. It was doughy and the sauce was watery but at least it was edible compared to the other entrees. The teenage hostess was wearing a dress so short her butt was hanging out, this is a family place not Hooters.

Calamari strips are very good. Somewhat unique in that they are cut strips only. Batter is light which is good. Somewhat spicy. Aioli sauce is a little too cloyingly mayonnaise-y, got a kick. Toasted ravioli is the famous Lombardo family kind(like you’ll find at Carmines).Uniquely, shaped because they are hand stuffed with exquisite meats. Wow type of good! Pricey. But it’s the best you are going to find in Arnold.

Terrazza Grill is a place I have waited to review until I had finished 3 visits, 1 lunch and 2 dinners. I did this because the reviews of the restaurant are so widely diverging on this site. The toasted ravioli are large and the filling is the best I have eaten in St Louis. These are not your standard square 2 bite variety. These look like small calzones and 2 of them make a full appetizer serving. The chunky marinara is excellent too. You can get 2 versions of spedini here, chicken and beef tenderloin. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the beef a bit overdone but still good. The salad here is good, the house dressing is a vinaigrette but I got a honey mustard which was nicely done. I got to have lunch here on Apr 23, 2014 and I got the meatball sub lunch special. 1 large meatball on a piece of marinara dressed piece of an Italian bread loaf. Simple but great. Our guests ordered the calamari appetizer and it was surprising. These were large strips of squid perfectly fried rather than the rings I am accustomed to. The sauce served with the calamari is nicely seasoned. My other guest ordered the Italian sausage sandwich and it was a nice sweet sausage again served on Italian bread. I decided to bump the rating up to 5 stars after this many visits with no significant concerns.

Located very conveniently just off the highway, this place looks as nice as their food tastes. And the Chopin vodka dirty martini was pretty good as well! Their salads are particularly good! The Tuscan pasta — fettucine alfredo — was very, very tasty as well, and the portions are so huge, I had 2 meals!

We were trying to find a non chain restaurant in Arnold MO. My husband pulled in here because there was not a line around the corner on a Friday night . The food: We did not get apps. But my son got the toasted ravs for dinner. He loved them. They were homemade goodness. Salads They were good. The dressing was a simple vinaigrette and oil. Good not great . Bread service: good, fresh. It’s bread . The entrée : I had the pasta con broccoli. It had a red cream sauce. Oh my god it was good. Very generous portions . My husband and my son got the Italian sausage sandwich. It came with fries. The fries were steak cut. Had a wonderful seasoning on them. I was told the sandwiches were good. I did not try them but I trust my boys.

Terrazza Grill is a Lombardo’s family restaurant. I was pleased when they brought this location to the area a few years ago, as it’s a very nice and reasonably priced Italian restaurant. I’ve never tried something I didn’t like here. They offer typical Italian food… pasta, pizzas, sandwiches, a variety of entrees, and the BEST toasted ravioli around. On a recent visit for dinner with my husband, I ordered one of my favorite dishes… chicken gorgonzola. It is topped with mushrooms and a gorgonzola cheese sauce, and served with parmesan roasted potatoes and a side salad. In my opinion, Terrazza makes one of the best Caesar salads, with plenty of grated cheese and homemade croutons, so I always opt for that over the house salad. One of my other favorites is the shrimp risotto, which is creamy and loaded with plenty of large grilled shrimp. My husband wanted to try something new this time, so he went with a bacon pizza. Their pizza is the St. Louis style thin crust, which we both enjoy. He was pleased with his selection. I love the atmosphere here as well. There is a large stone fireplace, big comfortable booths, a nice bar area, and relaxing outdoor patio. It’s a place where my husband and I will definitely continue to enjoy some nice meals.

Really good food in my opinion, we had the black and blue burger, pizza, and a couple martinis. I’m sure their steaks are good but I couldn’t justify paying 26 bucks for one. Good music on the patio. Friendly service – the manager(or maybe owner) actually ogled my wife’s backside while he was shaking my hand and thanking me as we left. That must be the authentic Italian experience.

This isn’t a regular review I suppose since I was there for a bridal shower. I was there on a Saturday afternoon, they have a really nice section for a private party. I would highly recommend them for a shower, birthday party, family gathering. The wait staff was very friendly and took care of our table in a swift professional manner. They had printed menus so we could choose our entrée that the family had as an option. I chose the chicken mudega. The meal started with an order of toasted ravioli which were more like a deep fried ravioli, they were very flavorful and the red sauce was good. We had a wonderful salad, I would go back for the salad alone! The chicken mudega was good. yet not the best I’ve ever had, that is why this isn’t a five star review.

I have experienced this restaurant at least twice, and from what I gather, the Lombardo family should be ashamed of this restaurant they recently opened here in Arnold. I was really excited about this restaurant, but I was disappointed at both outings. Here is what happened at the most recent outing. I decided to come here to give this restaurant a chance, showing my mom some decent Italian cuisine. My mother ended up getting a beer, and myself ended up ordering a diet soda and the filet minion entrée. I also ordered brocolli and a side salad with Cesar dressing. First of all, the service was extremely dis-satisfying. The server hardly ever showed up to our table for re-fills or to ask if we enjoyed our meal, so we missed a great customer service opportunity. Secondly, they seem to not understand how to turn over tables. One family was waiting for a table, but instead of waiting in the waiting area, like rational people should, they decided to wait, not at a bar, but at a bar island right next to where we were sitting. You know: its nice to gaze at someone’s butt sometimes, but while I am eating? That is not an appetizing sight. And why did we have to put up with such rude vultures? The staff at this restaurant should be ashamed, this was very piss poor. I was considering at least a two star rating, but I am sorry, for this treatment, this restaurant only deserves one star. And most of all, the food wasn’t even that appetizing. The filet minion was overcooked to the point that the meat was barely even edible, only a tough beef jerky. The salad was overdumped with cesar dressing with not enough crisp lettuce. And to top it all off I had to down my meal while some dude’s butt cheeks was pushed in my face during the entire experience. I think I paid $ 30 just for my filet minion meal, but I don’t think the experience was worth the money spent.

Went here on the recommendation of the hotel front desk because I wanted to go someplace I couldn’t find at home. Promptly seated and served; both hostess & server were friendly. I planned not to eat that much, but with the server’s encouragement I ended up getting an entire order of fried ravioli for myself, which could have served a family of 4 or been the entire meal. While it was way too much for a party of one, it was delicious. The raviolis had good crunch, and the dense meat filling was flavorful. The marinara on my linguini & meatballs was ordinary, but the meatballs were fantastic. It’s worth a visit. I would return here If business brings me back to this bit of suburbia.

So, I’ve been wanting to really write an in-depth review and unfortunately, for Terrazza Grills’s sake, my dad & I chose this place. This restaurant, Terrazza Grill, is one of the Lombardo Family restaurants and falls extremely short of the reputation it’s brothers and sisters carry. For starters what Italian restaurant doesn’t have a fish section on the menu? I know we’re in the midwest but I think you can do better than one fish dish on a 4 page menu. To top it off the one fish dish isn’t even italian. It’s Atlantic Salmon with a sweet ginger soy glaze served with a parmesan risotto. Who in their right mind came up with that Frankenstein of a dish? Talk about a strange Italian Asian fusion. So, since fish was out of the question this evening I decided that I wanted the basic spaghetti with meatballs. But wait!!! It’s not in the pasta section of the menu. Where could it be? They don’t have spaghetti with meatballs? What Italian restaurant doesn’t have spaghetti with meatballs? Well, It turns out that they have a linguine with meatballs. Not what I wanted, but it will do. My father ordered an appetizer of Toasted Ravioli, a St. Louis staple, for the table. The ravioli had a decent crispy and light crust. The filling was dense and well seasoned. Overall a decent ravioli. The sauce on the other hand was so greasy it was shiny. I uploaded a picture for your viewing pleasure. Next came my side salad. Instead of a house side salad they should call it cheap lettuce covered in unflavored oil with old tomatoes and bland cheese. You know how tomatoes get the wrinkly skin and turn squishy when you’ve had them in the fridge for a while? Well, the two cherry tomatoes, that’s right, only two, that came with my salad were so wrinkly and squishy you would think they had been in the fridge for weeks. After my salad the Linguini with meatballs came out. The linguini was store bought and slightly overcooked. The meatballs were what saved this dish. They were dense and very flavorful without being dry. They could be a little less dense though. It was as if they had mixed them to long or rough and the sauce was overly sweet. The portion was enormous and could be eaten for two meals. One thing that bothers me more than inedible garnishes are edible garnishes that are inedible. They covered my plate in «fresh» «minced» parsley. It wasn’t fresh and it wasn’t minced! It really bothers me when they cut fresh herbs before service starts and then garnish plates with it throughout the night. When you cut parsley it bruises the leaves. That means you have bruised sad looking parsley all over the plate! Who wants to eat that? NOONE! Cut it as service goes on or don’t put it on the plate! No one wants brown wilted herbs on their food! Also, if you’re going to mince parsley then mince it! Don’t just do a rough chop! Then you have big clumps of bruised parsley on the plate instead of bruised minced parsley. Ugh! You should just stop doing it anyway. Parsley all over plates went out of style in the 80s! Update your garnishes. I also ordered a cup of coffee with dinner. It was cheap coffee that was bitter and stale. The waitress did not tell the table the soup of the day. How can I plan my meal if they don’t tell me. I had to ask for water. Water service is not standard here. The bread was definitely a frozen dough that was bought in. It was super dense, not in the good way, and lacking in developed flavor. The seating is overly crowded. They had us in a hallway section to the left of the door and I kept having close encounters with waiters trays and passersby. It’s extremely loud in the dining area and every time the door opened I felt a shiver run down my spine. They have some major draft issues in the dining room. To say the least I will not be coming back. Growing up in the St. Louis area this restaurant is an embarressment to the Hill and from what I’ve heard it’s an embarrassment to the other restaurants in it’s family.

The Terrazza Grill’s lasagna has made me a fan. I can’t say I’ve had better in St. Louis. The caesar salad is also excellent. Even the chicken strips my daughter had were very good. This is a very family friendly place. The acoustics are not good — it’s very loud, so I can’t really see having any kind of intimate or serious conversation here. They need to hang some tapestries or something. Service was excellent and the ambience is nice. This is a very nice addition to the Arnold scene, which is almost entirely national chains.
