Stopped for coffee and cake. Both very good. Café is part of a small but well stocked food market. If it’s fine and warm, enjoy the courtyard seating but inside just as welcoming.

FIve stars for the abundant local produce, eggs and meat at this hard to find grocery store off the main road in Arroyo Seco. The woman behind the counter was also very friendly and gave us a rundown on the social cliques of the area. Didn’t try the sandwiches but they looked good.

This place was so perfect for times when we didn’t want to drive into Taos. They’ve got a pretty good little grocery selection with foods from places like Whole Foods, so that was perfect for us. We went and got a couple of juices throughout our stay in NM, and they were really good juices, but the wait for them is why I’m not giving a 5-star review; an order for 3 juices and a smoothie took them just over half an hour. I juice my own stuff at home, so I know it can take a while, but half an hour seemed a little excessive.

I Checked out the Sol market because I did not want to drive all the way in to Taos for occasional groceries. They have all the basics plus some really great organic frozen meats, poultry and seafood. I soon realized that they have great food. I have had a fresh juice the last three days, always a treat. I met a friend for lunch today. she had a yummy salad and I had a great sandwich. My friend also had a mango smoothy that was delicious. Since everything is made fresh this is not fast food, though not more than 10min. Services is friendly but not mushy. GREATBAKEDGOODS, all made onsite. Cozy, interesting place. I look forward to my next visit.

LOVE this hidden gem family owned one stop shop. Great selection of healthy food and produce with a wonderful café. The staff was incredibly warm and friendly. Will definitely be going back!

Really surprised by the other reviews for Sol. The brother sister duo that runs the place have always been really attentive, helpful and friendly. They have a pretty good selection of groceries. Everything is organic or local and they also sell some gift items. The salads and wraps are reeeeally good. It’s on the pricey side but they use all organic/local produce so it’s understandable. They also have smoothies. Their location is very convenient. They also have a nice indoor and outdoor seating areas for people to hang out with their computers for the day.

Great location, great setting, great food, great coffee… great amount of arguing and marital bickering in front of customers. Great way to kill your business.

The food is good at this café. However, the customer service, or lack there of, is absolutely terrible! The two men that were working were each individually and uniquely rude. I even told them there service was poor and they said nothing. I dislike nothing more than paying for rude service and would rather chew nails than eat the food they prepared afterward. It was so bad we opted to take our food to go because we couldn’t image sitting there and eating after the way we were treated. No wonder the place was empty. I absolutely would not recommend this café!
