Ideal Florist

I would like to thank Keith for making the process go smooth. I live out of town and tried to call the nearest flower shop to deliver to my grandma for her bday and this was the best choice. He gave me an idea on how the arrangement was going to look and reassured me they were going to make it special just for my grandma. And that they were going to deliver it right away. Thank you again. They were beautiful :)

I LOVE this place. They make beautiful arrangements. And the flowers are very fresh. Will use them for all of my local flower needs.

I’m always a fan of mom and pop shops. I prefer to go to those over any other. Any way. I’ve been coming here since I was little to get flowers for mothers day/​my moms birthday ect. I’m never disappointed. The flowers are always beautiful, fresh, and last a good amount of time. I wouldn’t even think about going to a different florist. I love this place.

I pass by this place all the time and wanted to pick up some flowers for my Godmothers birthday. I called ahead to find out what time they closed which they said at 7pm. Nice!
I know that florists charge an arm and a leg for vases and baloons so I went across the street to dollar tree and bought the nicest Vase they had (4 options), a birthday card, and 2 birthday baloons. 4 bucks! I then headed to Ideal Florists at about 430pm and the sign said they were closed as well as it looking dark inside. FUCK! I was about to leave and thought maybe I should call so I did and a nice friendly guy answered and apologized then thanked me for letting him know. He greeted me at the door and flipped the sign over.
An older Asian women then proceeded to help me going over the prices of different bouquet’s which were about average price from previous experience in purchasing flowers. I picked out a lovely bunch and paid for it getting a little small card to put in the flowers.
The one thing I forgot to bring or buy was water for the vase! I went next door to a sandwich shop and bought a bottle of water for a buck. I ended up spending a good 15 dollars less by buying everything separate allowing me to buy a better group of flowers. Overall this place had what I needed, and no wait. If the sign wouldnt have said closed I would give it a 5, but they were nice so they get a 4.

Ideal Florists has been my flower shop for the past 4 years. The two employees have always been friendly, helpful, and patient with me. Their selection is pretty standard — not a huge variety, but enough to make a beautiful and diverse bouquet.

Based on the large amounts of florist shops in the area, this one ranks the lowest. I came here for my standard bouquet, corsage, and boutonnière for my High School Winter Formal. The bouquet was nice, and they knew what they were doing. However when I went back to pick up my corsage and boutonnière on the day of the dance, they actually FORGOT to make the boutonnière! I waited about 10 minutes as I watched the little old lady rush to make one, but it looked rushed and messy compared to all of my friends.
Maybe that is just my one bad experience, but with the agglomeration of many other florists in the area, I took my business elsewhere for my Prom 9 (Cerritos Florist).

I’ve never celebrated Valentine’s Day, the right way… according to romantics, feminists «independent women» of entitlement and those who thrive off of holidays such as these.
It wasn’t until this year the very first time I realize the pain boyfriends/​husbands/​fiancees go through acquiring some arrangements and ideas for their Significant Other.
I went to a few florists here and there around the 562 area before I chose this place. Thankfully, they took the risk in making my concept floral arrangement work. Within 24 hours and $ 40.00 some odd dollars later they presented the finish product and I was on my way to enjoy this Hallmark Holiday for 2012.
Thanks Ideal Florist, I just wish you guys had cheaper flowers but it’s supply and demand, on one of the busiest holidays of the year. Cheers.
