American Spirits Roadhouse

This was my 3 rd trip to this bar. I traveled from Piscataway. I am a huge fan of live entertainment. The lineup is awesome. Every week they consistently pull in some of the top bands in NJ to listen to in a relaxed environment. We were ecstatic to see our favorite bands play in such a great place. #IDB #Dana Ganor band #Slackjaw
On a less enthusiastic note. Our food was Terrible. Hunters chicken description
* grilled chicken breast Over penne pasta with roasted mushrooms in a red wine sauce *. What I got. * half cooked chicken over penne with ragu spaghetti sauce/​mushrooms.
Fish tacos were nothing to write home about as well.
End food rant.
On a much brighter note. The beer list is pretty good. Sweet baby Jesus on tap is awesome in my book

Beautifully remodeled, however, the wait staff is weak. Great beer selection and decent food but strange ambiance. The fish tacos and burgers are decent; nachos were so so. Definitely a better option than the pattenburg house but just a strange vibe. Hopefully, this place will take off as a decent bar is much needed in the area.

Vary small and costly drinks, not the sames food as the old Landside. Bar seats are painful. …

This place has potential but they’re not quite there. Great job remodeling the inside. Now they need to work on the food — it’s a nice menu but the food doesn’t have much flavor (I’ve heard this from several people who have been there at different dates/​times) and the veggies were lukewarm. I’ll give it another try.

Great food and lots of beer selection on tap. Have to come back to add more details. Great newly remodeled local spot. And they kept it country!

The wings could have been more crispy but the sauce and blue cheese were excellent. Had chicken quesadilla too and was great. Staff great also.
