My mom was having severe right eye problems and she had to see an ophthalmologist ASAP. She lives in Ashburn so I wanted to find someone local and came across Ashburn Vision Source. With such phenomenal ratings, there was no question about going here. We (my sis and I had to translate for my mom) arrived a few minutes prior to the appointment and didn’t have to wait long at all. The staff is very friendly. We met with Dr. Boyle and she was so nice, professional, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. My sister and I were both impressed. She answered all the questions we had. It turns out that my mom had to go see a retina specialist. Dr. Boyle and her staff called a specialist in Sterling to see if they had availability for my mom to come in same day. Thankfully they did! We went to the specialist and he gave us all the information and help we needed. Dr. Boyle called the very next day to check on my mom and to see how the appointment with the specialist went. It was so nice of her to do that! I wasn’t expecting that at all so it was a really nice surprise. It’s great to see that this place cares, even for new patients! My mom will have to come back in the next 3 – 6 months to get glasses and I’m looking for a new eye doctor so we will be coming back here for all of our eye needs! This place is fantastic!

Dr. Hinkle is fantastic. I don’t typically write online reviews but I truly feel that EVERY staff member at this office truly does their best each and every day. Polite, knowledgeable, easy to talk to and not pushy about services.

Been twice now and it’s been a great experience the entire time. My appointment has always started on time, the staff is very professional, and Dr Hinkle does a great job explaining and showing me data/​results from my visit. I was going to to give 4 stars but I couldn’t think of anything else they could do to get 5 stars.

I have been a customer of Ashburn Vision Source for the past 8 years. This place is just the best in business. Excellent doctors, staff and office, with a superbly clean and neat environment, on-​time appointments and quick services, they just keep on getting better every time I visit. These are a few reasons for me to stay with them for many more years to come, besides them being truly local and not part of a big faceless corporate machine. Their prices are very reasonable and competitive in this area and they are always ready to go out of their way to accommodate customers’ requests and needs. Keep up the good work!

Our family went to Dr. Hinkle for seven years and wouldn’t ever think of going somewhere else if we still lived in-​state. His office is impeccably clean and focused on a hygienic experience (how refreshing). Their selection of glasses is wonderful and if you don’t find what you’re looking for, on-​site, they’re more than willing to order it for you. Dr. Hinkle has never made us feel rushed or been impatient, even when patients before me showed up late and put him behind. His staff is courteous, friendly, and helpful. You won’t regret making this office your eye care home!

I had my first appointment with Dr. Mary Chen. The exam was thorough and she answered all my questions. The staff is also pleasant and helpful. I will be going back there to pick out some new glasses. My only complaint: as soon as I arrived, I was asked if I wanted extra exams that were not included in the basic check-​up. I thought about it, then decided to wait to talk to the doctor. As it turns out, she recommended that I have one additional test which will be covered under my medical insurance, so I’m glad I waited to discuss it with her first.

I don’t trust my vision with anyone else! I am so excited to take my baby boy in on Monday for his FREE InfantSee exam. Dr. Hinkle is so wonderful, patient and loving with children.

I had a great experience here. Went in recently for a contact lens exam with Dr. Hinkle and he fitted me with new lenses that were so much better than what I was previously using. The staff were so friendly and helpful. This will definitely be my new go to from now on

I have been seeing Dr. Hinkle for several years and it’s always a great experience. I wear contacts and when I first went to Dr. Hinkle I explained that I was having trouble with my contacts moving around in my eyes too much. I have terrible vision and astigmatism so we went through several different trial lenses until we got the perfect lens. And lucky me, they are a lot less expensive than the brand/​type I had before. After my annual exam, my contacts orders are always ready for pickup in just a week. You can tell that he really cares about your overall health and eye health in addition to getting you the best and most accurate prescription. The staff employees are all very nice and do a great job of explaining your insurance benefits. I highly recommend Dr. Hinkle and Ashburn Vision Source.

I have been a patient for over 5 years and have recommended this office to many people! The staff is extremely professional, kind and caring. I have had appointments with both Dr. Hinkle and Dr. Boyle, and both of them are great! They make sure to answer any questions I have.
Just recently, I had to get a new pair of glasses and thankfully I was able to find cute frames that my insurance covered!

My wife had asked me to go to Ashburn Vision Source. She had been a patient there for some time now and was really happy with their services. And I was not disappointed either. The staff was very friendly, courteous and professional.
Although I had arrived 10 minutes late (I thought I was arriving 5 minutes earlier, but I was wrong), they were quick to get me registered and took me back immediately. The medical assistance and the doctor were very nice informative, and took their time to explain what was going on throughout the appointment. The staff knew the benefits very well and were able to explain everything. They took their time, answered any and all questions that I had (some were kind of stupid — at least that’s what my wife told me), and were very pleasant!
The only thing I can’t comment on is their selection of glass frames. I did not have the time to check out the variety they offered, but looking forward to doing that next week.
I would highly recommend these guys to any and everyone that’s looking for an eye doctor/​clinic.

The team at Ashburn Vision Source is very knowledgeable, diligent, quick, and efficient. I have an eye condition that must be monitored closely and the docs are very diligent to keep their professional knowledge up-​to-​date and watch me closely to keep me healthy!
The staff is friendly and actually has little turnover. They have convenient hours too — what is not to like?

I am so glad that I finally have a good eye doctor in Ashburn. For the past ten years, literally, I have been bouncing from Dr. to Dr. trying to find a good fit and a practice that I liked. I am thrilled to have found Dr. Hinkle. I am staying there until the kick me out.
I love that I don’t feel like I am in an assembly line there. I am not just another patient. Dr. Hinkle took a lot of time to talk to me, and understand my problem. He was able to fix a problem that I have had for YEARS. I can now both read and see far while wearing contacts. Being able to shed my reading glasses has simplified my life so much. I am thrilled!
Dr. Hinkle was also simply WONDERFUL with both of my children. He took the time to answer their questions and actually gave them a mini science lesson. He has children himself and has a great way to connect with children. I am thrilled that he got my 7-​year-​old to wear his glasses at school! I was sure that was going to be a battle.
His staff is awesome. Very courteous, polite, and personable. At no point did I feel rushed. They took the time I needed to find the perfect pair of glasses. I also was seen right away and did not have to wait long.
I would highly recommend this practice. But, don’t you all go there at once, I wan to be able to get appointments quickly as I am able to do now! LOL!

I’m not from the area and am not a patient but was in town for business and realized I did not packed extra contact lens. My regular glasses is quite heavy and it’s very hard for me to wear it all day. I came here (with prescription) asking to purchase a pair of contact lens and was able to even though I wasn’t even a patient.
Thank you very much to your wonderful office. It saved me from looking unprofessional at my work meeting.

A couple of years ago, I was in the process of searching for a new eye care professional. In that process, I found Ashburn Vision Source. I made an appointment for services and was pleasantly surprised with the warmth of the staff and professionalism and knowledge of Dr. Hinkle! I have been very happy with the office and staff and this will be my provider of choice! I can’t imagine going anywhere else!
