So glad I found Veera! I had been researching permanent makeup of the eyebrows for 2 years before finding Veera and getting the balls to do the service. I am so glad I spent my time researching before choosing someone else. I live in Richmond and she is well worth the drive! She is very knowledgable about her industry and services and very sweet and makes you feel at ease. My first service went great and I couldn’t believe just how well she color matched my natural hair for my brows. Perfection!

Veera is simply amazing! I did a lot of extensive research to make sure I was going to the best PM artist. It was either Veera, or NYC. I am a natural red head, and my eyebrows are naturally very light blonde, almost non-​existent. I have to fill them in every. single. day. and it drove me insane. The thought of having them permanently done was always a daydream. Veera, made it come true! As a redhead, I thought it would be hard to match the color, but she did so perfectly. I was also afraid of them looking too ‘tattooed’ or that she might have to shave the actual hair to get started… neither of these were true. They look so natural, and perfect.
She took about an hour for the consultation, and to reshape my eyebrows. They looked 100% different from how I had them, and what I thought looked okay! The new shape really transformed my face and made me feel beautiful. The second hour was for the tattooing and cleaning up. I just came back from my follow up appointment a few days ago, where I requested a bit darker color, and she also tinted them for me. The picture attached was taken right after my appointment, and they still look great! Veera is amazing, and i’ll be sending lots of recommendations her way :)

Veera is great! I did my whole face: eye brows, eye liner and lips. A month after the correction, all of it looks amazing! And after a couple of Veera’s facials and skin care consultations, I barely use make up these days.
Veera is an amazing specialist. People come from other countries to study with her. She has a great artistic eye. She noticed that one of my eye brows is higher than the other and corrected it. She also corrected the shape of my eye brows and lips.

So far, i like everything.
I found this place on Facebook. I was familiar with permanent makeup before (i had my eyebrows done by another technician), and since then i always wanted to do my eye liner and lips. So, after reading all the great reviews, i decided that i will finally do it. So i scheduled appointment and just had done my eye liner and full lips this past Wednesday, and so far i like it a lot. I was impressed how easy to deal with Veera, and how knowledgeable she is. She listened to every my request. She explained me that i will only see final result after the correction, that scheduled to be in about a month, and even after that, color still will be developing for another month or two. So this review is for my first procedure and impression with Veera. I will update the review once its all done and i will see my final result.

I found Permanent Makeup and Esthetics after a year of contemplating if I would do the permanent makeup for my eyebrows. I am in my late 20’s and have been shading in my eyebrows since a teen. I use to shade in eyebrows all the time when I was younger but lately I have become lazy. I do not wear makeup during work days… just on weekends or for outing but no matter what I always felt insecure about not having eyebrows shaded in. So I would try to shade in before work if I was up to it.
Back to my search for permanent makeup… I found very few places in the DC area that have evidence of their work. I live in DC and though there were some listed in DC there were no pictures or reviews specific to PM. Northern Virginia had more options for PM and I had originally went with another location but while still nervous about the procedure because it is my face and because it is a tatoo I kept researching and I came across Permanent Makeup and Esthetics, LLC. The before and after pictures looked spot on of the results I wanted. So I canceled my appointment with other location and made an appointment with Veera. My eyebrows look amazing and I no longer have to shade them in for regular work days. If I am going somewhere special I will shade in for a more dramatic look but the time of process to shade in has increase because I no longer have to create a perfect eyebrow shape. I will post pictures shortly. I would like to post a before and after but will do so once it has healed completely. My initial appointment was in December and I recently went back for a touch-​up which is included with initial price. Once it has heal I will post my before and after.
I highly recommend Veera and I am excited about my results!
