As far as dining in Asheville, this is one of the more upscale places near Arden without going downtown. It’s right beside the Cinemas, which is the busiest social scene at the Biltmore Plaza, making it a great place for people watching or grabbing a drink before a movie. I’ve only been once, but everything I had was great. We started off with the grilled vegetable bruchetta appetizer, it was probably the best I’ve had, I’ve tried to replicate the recipe but it’s never as good as the kind I had there. I made the mistake of going to the bathroom when the server came and my ex boyfriend ordered for me, which was a result of his family’s impatience, not any rushing by the staff. He ordered the prime rib for me, which was not even in my top 5 choices, and it was still delicious! I don’t really even like prime rib. My salad was great and I tried everyone else’s food, I don’t remember what they had but it was all very tasty and we decided no matter what you ordered it was probably going to be good. The ambiance was nice and elegant, and I have to compliment the waitstaff, I don’t remember our server’s name but she was very graceful when dealing with my ex’s rude father. Also maybe worth mentioning, a few celebrities have been known to dine here while in town, including James Franco.

This restaurant is conveniently located across from the Hilton Hotel. We arrived late, and it was almost closing time. The staff still welcomed us and assured us we were not too late. Our waiter was attentive, and the bar drinks were good. We all tried a variety on the menu, and I ordered the crab cakes. They were awful! I can not describe the taste — a little similar to the taste of nothing. You can see the kitchen from the dining area, and they were clearly closing down. I’m thinking the crab cakes may have been lacking an ingredient or 2 because of the hour. The waiter offered to cook something else, but I was fine with the sides. DEFINITELY try the kale salad — it is amazing !

We were staying at a nearby hotel and it was recommended we try out this spot. My husband ordered the crab cakes and I ordered a wedge salad. My salad was fantastic, hubby’s crab cakes were just ok. Not the lump crab you’d expect. We sat out on the patio, live music tonight and it was FANTASTIC, Aaron Lafalce. Don’t miss him if you have the chance. We had two drinks each, total Bill before tip was $ 67. This is a great spot in Asheville shopping and dining area. Several folks said it was best spot in this area

My husband and I wanted an early Valentine dinner, and decided on this place. The restaurant has a romantic and warm vibe. It was perfect for the evening. I ordered the rib-eye and crab cake special. Delicious! My husband ordered the filet which he really enjoyed. The food is really fresh and doesn’t taste at all like a chain. The multiple servers thing that they do is great. You get a lot of attention, and our wine glasses and water glasses were always full. Overall, this place is great. I only wish they offered a few more appetizers. It’s a very small list, but that’s my only critique. Definitely coming back.
