Cold Stone Creamery

Considering this was the closest one to me. I had a craving with my friend (Fellow Unilocaler: Canny F. :
) for a freaking strawberry ice cream cake. Yes, and Cold Stone was the only place that did it right. Something that I haven’t had in years. YEARS. So, it was time to change that.
Came here, decided to put on my blinkers on and park on the handicap spot, because well come on… I was going to be in there for maybe 5 minutes or less? I was going to just pick up a cake. Sadly, due to the confusion and miscommunication I didn’t reserve a large rectangle to get the most that I could. Good thing I sort of didn’t. I don’t think I had enough space in my freezer.
So got the next largest size, which was the circular ice cream cake. I warn you that these slices are big, but they’re so damn good. Bought it and that was that. The workers there were nice and my experience wasn’t too bad. The parking here isn’t that easy, but hey you gotta do what you gotta do. By the way, Canny only ate one and a half slices of the cake. So yes, I’m a fatty.

I can’t believe there’s no cold stone at Knoxville or Nashville so my friend went here to fulfill our craving for the Strawberry passion ice cream cake. If you place an order for a Large rectangle, you have to pay in advance. We were tempted but ended up getting the largest option in store and feasted. It’s been many many years since we both had it and it brought back high school memories. I remember the first time I discovered it. This was the sh&%! I would find every possible occasion to order this and binge.

After having a wonderful birthday celebration at a near by restaurant we were craving a yummy creamy dessert. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted with a hello and how may I help you from 2 lovely young ladies.
This is your typical Cold Stone Creamery layout nothing fancy just down to business as soon as you walk through the door… typical chain franchise.
I believe the items you purchase at this establishment is WAY over priced for what you get. I got a small scoop with 2 toppings which included marshmallows, that were stale, and strawberries…2 strawberries to be exact YES I said 2. These ingredients were not fresh by any means and made the dessert just bland, overpriced, and didn’t make very happy. The banana ice cream was very good but so disappointed in the toppings and the value for my dessert.
There are way too many other good ice cream establishments in Asheville so I will most likely not be back.

Our visit AND serving size were short and sweet — «Like It» sized! Sadly they were out of dark chocolate, but their chocolate shavings are the BEST and helped make up for it!

This place never disappoints me! I love all of ice cream and mix in varieties. Also, I ordered an ice cream cake from here for a friend’s birthday and it turned out absolutely delicious. The workers are so friendly and they make my experience enjoyable from the second I walk in to the time that I leave. Great ice cream, great specials/​menu options, great employees, and clean restaurant is 5 stars in my book!

This is one my favorite places to get ice cream! They have great selection of flavors and combinations, along with an assortment of chocolates and candy apples! They have ice cream cakes and everything is delicious. Definitely if the there is a craving for something sweet come on down. Also the staff is very friendly.

Excellent ice cream! The staff is very helpful and friendly. Only issue is with customers who come in who have children and do not supervise them very well. We had a child push her way on top of us and talked loudly as to where we had a hard time ordering. Another parent, was scolding his child for yelling after he force fed the child ice cream! Yeah, some rude folks. But, over all, pleasant treat.

The ice cream speaks for itself. Today, though, I have to say the young lady who served us suggested that with Heath Bar chunks we could try salted caramel. Mmm good. It’s hard to find that kind of help these days — people who genuinely like people and you know it. Good job!

Good ice cream & a pleasant staff. Gotten to where I sort of prefer Sweet Frog to ice cream but this place isn’t bad…

I ALWAYS get a like it cotton candy and 3 cake pops. I’ve been 6 times and never disappointed! Love that place!

Super yummy panini sandwiches. Didn’t have time for a nice cream, but we drooled near the freezer case. :)

The staff here is awesome. The ice cream like all stone colds but the outgoing nature of the staff make it worth visiting… Went twice was the same vivacious feel both nights.

We enjoyed an ice cream after we had pizza at Brixx next door. My husband and I split a ‘gotta have it’ of one of their signature ice creams. I wish I had bought one of the candy apples they had too… they looked amazing! Our service was quick and friendly.
