Bought and ate Siggi’s vanilla yogurt, Quark in lemon, and Rhythm kale chips. Yum!

This a neat little place for a quick lunch, but it gets kind of crowded on the weekdays. I had to stand in a large line on a Wednesday as opposed to my Saturday visits where I just breeze right through. I believe they might have been a bit short staffed because they struggled a little with keeping the open bars filled up. I love the hot bar myself so I was kinda disappointed when I couldn’t get my favorite mac and cheese. However, the quality of most of their food, especially the baked goods, is simply wonderful and delectable.

I get their pizza all the time. It’s whole wheat and the staff is super friendly. Free wi-fi. The hot bar always seems to have the same things though — chicken, sweet potatoes, mac and cheese. Not very exciting. Their breakfasts are a little bland also, but they have croissants and vegan/regular biscuits. Once in awhile, the biscuits tend to be a little doughy and uncooked. Everyone seems to love their salad bar which includes domas and spicy dumplings. Yum. I’m just not a salad bar type of girl.

If I were reviewing the atmosphere and green efforts of this place it would be a full 5 due to the solar water heater and my husbands description of how cool the urinal was. However the food sounded better on the menu than the how it actually tasted. I ordered a turkey club no mayo– it came with mayo and was just ehh. The salad that came with was pretty and the lemon tahini dressing was the best part. My husband the rubin sandwitch connoisseur was not impressed with his meal either. Healthy yes, flavorful no.

Earth Fare actually does a great job with this café eatery. Loads of goodies from vegan to vegetarian to sushi to name a few.
