Mobilia Contemporary Furniture

Just flat out awesome customer service. I bought a bed from Mobilia when I was in asheville on vacation. Cost, quality, and service were great. The real kicker: I bought the bed circa 2012. When I moved recently (Nov 2015) I called them to see if they had any assembly instructions. Martha spent some time on the phone and emailed me links to the manufacturer site with instructional video. Totally awesome.

Everything about our experience with Mobilia was great. Martha was a tremendous help. I have a tendency to get overwhelmed with interior design and all the choices. She really listened to us and focused on our style and narrowed down our choices which was helpful considering I wanted one of everything in the store. I can’t wait to return for our next projects!

I’ll just say that if I had all the money in the world, I’d shop here for every single piece of furniture. But I don’t, and that’s why I give 4 stars instead of 5. I wish they had more/​better sales. Sometimes I feel like I’m punishing myself when I go browse because it’s all just so freaking beautiful. I have, however, purchased several things over the last 10 years we’ve been here, and I still love every single piece. This store (and its sister store, Four Corners) is completely drool-​worthy! Incredible modern, contemporary furniture. Michael (co-​owner) is a doll, so friendly and funny!

They have it all– high quality furniture and home accessories, well priced, attentive, knowledgeable but not pushy staff, free delivery. Locally owned business that warrants patronage because their business model is what all retailers should aspire to. My favorite home store in Asheville. They are service oriented and it shows in everything they do. Even their delivery team was professional, friendly and for my purchase, my salesperson Wesley surprised me with a lovely scented candle at delivery time.

So happy to have come across this Asheville gem on one of our many trips to the area. The staff, particularly Martha and Michael, are just amazing. They truly go above and beyond. It is like having your own personal designer to help make your home, or any space, perfect. They even continued to help from a distance, willing to be emailed photographs of a space to determine the perfect items to finish it. Can’t say enough!

I just stumbled upon this store while strolling around downtown Asheville and was super impressed! They have curated a really impressive mix of affordable and ‘stretch’ pieces and I enjoyed knowing that some of the furniture was made locally. William was incredibly helpful without being intrusive. If I lived in Asheville, I would absolutely have bought a few more items!

My wife and I happened upon Mobilia during a weekend visit to Asheville last winter. We were in the early stages of refurnishing our living room on a fairly tight budget. Tight enough that we weren’t sure we could afford anything nicer than Ikea. From the start, the staff at Mobilia have been wonderful. They worked with us to design around the pieces in our living room that we couldn’t afford to replace, and spent an amazing amount of time with us both in email exchanges and in person (when we could make it to NC). We really feel Michael (et al) went above and beyond what we could have expected to make sure we were able to find pieces we love that fit our tight budget.
In addition, we cannot commend Hurt enough for how smoothly the delivery went. He was professional and warm, and had an impeccable eye to detail.
Again, we cannot recommend Mobilia enough. We love our living room, and receive compliments all the time. We would return in a heartbeat for any furniture needs we have in the future.

My husband and I visited Mobilia while in Asheville on vacation. What a wonderful store! Michael was extremely helpful in purchasing a rug for our house. After having the rug shipped to our house, we realized we had purchased the wrong size! I emailed Michael about our situation and he handled everything for us! He allowed us to exchange our special order rug for the larger size. I can’t name a store in my area that would make those kind of accommodations for a customer! I am totally impressed with their level of customer service and will be calling him the next time I make a purchase for my home!

There is some really cool eye candy for every room of the house in this place! The furniture ain’t cheap, but you can find a deal on other stuff either on sale or clearance. I love the contemporary look and feel here! And all the colors! Most of the time though I just find myself browsing and testing out the «comfort factor» of all the furniture.
