My fiancé and I are not from here and decided to try a new local coffee joint. We came in at opening on Saturday and got a drip coffee and frappé. The girl working was very pleasant. Buuuut, this was quite honestly the worst coffee I’ve ever had. The frappé was chalky, like milk, ice, and protein powder blended together. I honestly can’t figure out how they’re still open. Because of their location maybe? If you’re looking for a local coffee joint, for the love of god, try somewhere else. Or just go to Starbucks. I would choose corporate coffee over this stuff.

The whole time I was expecting Ashton Kutcher to pop out and tell us we were being punked. After ordering our food, my wife and I waited and watched as customer after customer received their orders… well after ours was taken. Not only did I have to return to the counter to remind the guy taking orders that we were still waiting for our burrito and muffin, but had to tell him what was in the burrito. Literally, I can’t even make this up, the employees were looking at the chalkboard menu to determine ingredients not even trying to hide it. Worst experience of our trip to Ashville. Love the city, hate this place.

The food is delicious, it is very reasonably priced, and the staff are all just delightful. Never had a bad experience here. Although I do miss the chicken parmesan sandwich they used to have. Bring that back!

They are very slow at lunch time. They charge you a fee to use a debit card if you dont spend a certain amount. Some of the employees are snotty.

Locally owned small business that loves their customers. Daily specials, evolving menu, and super friendly staff are just bonuses compared to the mouth-watering meals. Even the vegan options are delicious. While they do serve breakfast all day, I am a fan of their sandwiches. The spicy bacon grilled cheese is my favorite, but they also make an excellent panini. If you’re going during the summer, try the home made strawberry lemonade for a treat!

My Mom has been talking about Mosaic since they opened. As a fan of locally owned businesses and cheap eats, how could I resist? At Mosaic, you can get breakfast all day and each breakfast item comes with fresh fruit. Each lunch item comes with a side of chips. Their daily specials are on the board behind the counter but come early, we were told they always sell out first! There was one person preparing and cooking the food and one person taking orders and working the cash register. The line was out the door and judging by the size of the menu, this was going to take a while. For such a tiny space, I didn’t understand the need for so many options when everything is prepped and cooked behind the tiny counter. I understand wanting to please customers and have something for everyone but why kill yourself and your profit margin keeping customers waiting for simple orders? I ordered the egg white wrap with feta, mushrooms, spinach and tomatoes. My Mom ordered the breakfast scrambler. After staring at the impressive espresso machine, while standing in line, I had to get one! The woman behind the counter suggested a double and it hit the spot. Did I mention the busy crowd and line out the door? The people didn’t stop coming in and the two people working behind the counter kept an impressive cool and smiled at everyone coming in the door. It took 35 minutes for our order to arrive and I was beyond excited to eat. The breakfast wrap was very good. Thick cut mushrooms fluffy egg whites, thinly sliced tomatoes and chunks of feta. I wish there was more feta but I was just pleased to be eating. My Moms scramble looked just as good as mine and between nods and smiles, we were pleased. Mosaics prices can’t be beat! $ 4.99 for my wrap and the double espresso iced coffee was only $ 3.75. I’ll be back again but next time I’ll pack a snack.

Four of us stopped in for lunch prior to a matinée at the nearby Regal theatre. Diners order at a counter and the food is delivered to the table. When we arrived, the line was out the door. As I had read a previous review regarding slow service, I timed our wait. We ordered six minutes after entering which seemed seemed fast to me considering the line. The food was on the table within another 5 – 10 minutes. They have a nice selection of sandwiches and breakfast is available all day. I thought the sandwiches were tasty, reasonably priced and reasonably sized. I had the Reuben and for once, I didn’t leave feeling like I had eaten enough for two. The employees were friendly and competent. If you are in the area and looking for a quick and tasty lunch, this is a good choice. I would return for sure.

Service was extremely slow, not that many people but it took over 30 minutes to get our sandwich. The food was so so, nothing to brag about. Probably won’t go back.

Mosaic Café is a great little neighborhood coffee shop and restaurant in Biltmore Park Town Square. I really enjoyed our visit today and got the Daily Special — a White Chocolate Peppermint Mocha. The staff is always friendly and makes me feel at home. The owner, Ellen, is great and always checks to see if we are happy with our food and drinks. :)

Really great sandwiches and wraps at this locally owned café in new, dangled mixed use development, Biltmore Park. They serve locally roasted coffees from Beanworks in West Asheville. A really great caterer of meetings in town too! We’d use Ellen and her staff again

Excellent chicken salad. Great sandwiches and a nice atmosphere to enjoy a quiet lunch. Limited number of tables for outdoor seating but a great location to watch the traffic go by.
