As a juvenile diabetic for almost 20 yrs I’ve gone thru my fair share of doctors between retirement and relocation. I’ve only visited this practice once but I found the staff pleasant and happy enough to help with whatever I needed. I met with the nurse practitioner and dr weinirib, both of whom were very nice and accommodating. They spent plenty of time with me and made sure all my questions were answered. They have a wait list for cancelled appointment filling, which I luckily was on and got in to see them 2 months early. That was a great thing. My problems with the practice were minor, but problems are problems. I arrived early and prepared for my appt, and was left waiting 15 extra minutes before I was brought back to an exam room. That was frustrating, additionally the dr and practitioner were in and out of the exam room keeping me waiting even longer with no explanation. The other real issue with this practice are their unusual policies, like a $ 50 cancellation charge, no showing up late and if you reschedule more than 3 times in your entire time with the practice you will be discharged as a patient, weird in my mind. All and all though this seems like a pretty good and caring place, I’ll update my review after my next appt. as someone who takes my health very seriously I def want to keep the community informed on how the relationship develops.

Do not waste your time going to this office. Dr. Wenirib is rude and arrogant. You will leave the office with no answers to your questions. He was actually offended that I had written a list of questions that I wanted answered in regards to my thyroid. He wanted to know how I knew the term«Hashimoto» and informed me that I should stop reading about thyroid disorders. He will only order the standard«tsh» test and send you out the door.

I have been a patient here for going on 5 years. Dr. Stephen Wenirib is probably the most conscientious doctors I’ve ever known. The practice treats you like a guest, not like a patient. I got control over my diabetes soon after starting with them, and as I progress I have my ups and downs but this doctor and this practice are always willing to help! And for the record, I drive 55 miles one way to go to this practice!
