This place is more… How do I say this… Out of the downtown district and more East Asheville as if you are heading toward Swananoa.
Good place to stop and use the restroom, however, I wouldn’t run their gas nor would I buy anymore candy bars from this place.
I stopped here after a long night because I was craving a chocolate bar. Went in, used the restroom and then made my purchase.
As soon as I left I realized that my candy bar was old and totally un-fresh… SO FRUSTRATING… I assume since they are out of the way from downtown they probably don’t have a lot of turnover on the products they sell.
Oh well, I guess I didn’t need it anyway.

So I head back to the Queen city from 1 of 2 directions… I-26 south or I-40 east… this gas station is heading east and a typically better place to fill up before heading back as the prices are typically cheaper than in the city… and no, this fill up isn’t for my luxury car, but for one of my other cars I use.
