Disappointing at best
The bar tender was completely condescending unhelpful and engaged the two couples sitting across the bar from each other in loud political debate, holding the rest of the bar hostage to their views. They have a good beer selection but the flat bread pizza was flavorless and very sparsely topped. Between the rude service and worthless food, it’s barley worth stopping by for a beer.

Sometimes the service is a little slow but it’s worth it. In the summer they roll up the windows and there is plenty of outdoor seating. You have to order food and drinks at the bar so don’t go in and sit down and wait to be served. There are a couple of muted TV’s for watching sports and news, no background noise, so when it’s slow, talk low. This place was a nice addition to Woodfin. The taps change from time to time and every Wednesday is pint night. The flatbread pizzas are delicious as are the pretzel bites with fat tire dip.

Please, if you value your time and money, avoid this location of the Thirsty Monk Pub. The food is just alright. The service absolutely stinks. I have been here 3 times in 3 months. The servers are nonexistent, the attitude is less than pleasant. Anytime you have to wait 30 minutes plus to get a 2nd beer after you have drained your glass in a place known for it’s libations, you are not in for a good time. Our server tonight seemed to be annoyed that we had the audacity to choose this establishment for dinner. Such a disappointing experience, yet again. Lesson learned, I will not ever be returning to this location.

This bar could be great. Inside is really neat, with good bar space. We went on a Saturday evening. There was one bartender with no personality and he seemed to have cared less if anyone wanted to stay or not. The food was ok. Just a real mediocre experience, with very little to be excited about.

I love this place, great taps, nice outdoor space and good snacks. Very casual and friendly. We are looking forward to moving into Reynolds Village with places like this to serve us!

Beer selection is great and food is good too. They have specials during the week and $ 5 brats! Pizza is good too
