We had a great experience here. Our son started when he was about 13 months old and left about six months later when we moved out of state. He loved it there and we felt very comfortable leaving him there. I appreciated the daily written reports on what he ate and how his day had been and the flexibility for him to go half days. Plus it was affordable, which mattered. I would definitely recommend for toddlers.

My son has been going to Lil Rascals since he was 6 months old. We have had nothing but a wonderful experience with the staff and structure of this school. Starting in the ‘Baby Room’ I was delighted that the staff gave us a daily Cuddle-Gram Report of how many diaper changes, how much he drank/ate, naps, and his general mood. There have been a few occasions where the billing process was unclear and a tad confusing but all issues have been resolved amicably. Angela has been very flexible with each child’s schedule and as a result the billing process can become confusing, but in the end it is fair and a reasonable price. They have a large playground, three separate classrooms, and provide snacks and hot lunch. The teachers are caring and provide a structured and fun class experience. My son can write his name, knows his alphabet, count to 30, and is excited about what he has learned — space week, rain forest week, ocean week. «Mommy, did you know that the Daddy Seahorse carries the babies in his pouch?!» My son has progressed through all three stages of Lil Rascals — Baby Room, Toddler Room, and now the Preschool Room. At each stage we have seen his language, social, and physical skills progress well beyond our expectations… Thank you Lil Rascals!

After having my 18 month son attend this«inexpensive» daycare for only a month I was chased out of the building, holding my son while the owner Angela, screamed at the top of her lungs at me. Why? Because she was committing fraud to the state and I was questioning it. This center is low grade. You are going to get what you pay for and that is minimal education requirements for the teacher’s, a terrible menu, and a volatile dishonest owner who is obviously bad with money. I should have listened to my gut feeling when I walked in to the infant room and it looked like fisher price had blown up. All the Early Development these kids are going to get is if you push a button this plastic thing makes noise. No thought has gone into the development of the kids in anyway. Yesterday, my last day there when I was walking by every classroom the person in charge was saying no to the kids and was obviously stressed and not in right relation to the environment. But how can you be with a boss like that? Let’s be the change we want to see and not send our kids to this archaic center, even if it is «cheap».
