This little park is a testament to all the caring individuals who work and volunteer here. It’s a bit of history on how things were at a different time and quite a bit of acreage that is adjacent to a baseball park. The baseball park was in use and a few people were wandering the park. Not too busy on a Saturday but there was a lot of nature to see. They have a lot of displays set up so you can see how various animals make their homes. For example black bears and some varieties of birds. Lots of time and money(there are many interpretive signs) has went into this location. It’s worth a walk through. The office is open M-F but you can check out the nature outside anytime. Price: Free I’ll check it out again when I’m in the neighborhood.
