Revive is the best store in Ashland for eclectic, vintage and modern furnishings. I shop there often and highly recommend Revive located in the Railroad District of Ashland.

Since our last visit to Ashland, Revive Home Décor has taken over this old Ashland Fire Station #2 and Jail(Haskins Garage), while the previous business(Rogue Books) has moved farther down A Street. This cool looking 1990s-ish building continues to impress and perhaps Revive’s recycled home décor approach fits in better with its historical nature. Revive has also opened the building up in that the front garage door is often open and there’s lots of stuff to look at in the back. When I was there, I was looking at old school lockers and desks, interesting furniture, various antique but practical household items, and even a full gazebo. The later might look good in our back yard, but there was no way I was going to get that thing in the car for a trip back to the Bay Area. Since their selection is pre-curated and probably on consignment, what I found at Revive changed even within the week that Gayle and I were in Ashland. She knows that I gravitate to these sort of places, so unfortunately she was watching me closely for possible purchases that she believed I had no business making. However, she would even admit that the merchandise here is solid and reasonably priced. I’ll see if I have better antique hunting success the next time we’re in Town.
