Went to get links removed from two watches. I was greeted by a friendly store clerk when I entered. He completed the task promptly and the cost was minimal.

I have been here many times. He cleans our weddings bands on our anniversary. Wanted to buy my 83 year old mom a watch but knew a clasp would be difficult. He put a different band on for me on the spot. A very pleasant «Mom & Pop» shop. Have bought watches, jewelry and sunglasses here. Always pleasant.

I stopped in a couple of years ago to have some minor repair done. I left really impressed by the warmth of the owner and the courtesy. I return often when I need repairs or a gift for someone which includes myself. Today when I visited to buy a last minute Christmas gift, I observed the owner interacting with another customer. I thought about the many times I have observed Antoine dealing with his customers. Suddenly I realized what draws me to visit the store. There is a spirit of community intimacy that makes you feel good. I come from a small town on Cape Cod where most proprietors treat their customers as friends. Antoine’s offers that same kind of great customer service and is a great place to feel welcomed and to be treated fairly.

Just received a new watch for my birthday but it wasn’t running, so I checked for local watch repair (hoping it was just a dead battery) on Unilocal and found Antoine’s in the neighborhood. Took it in and told Antoine (I assume?) the story and he opened it, changed the battery and we’re up and running! Then I had him re-​size the band for me; whole process took less than 5 minutes. Friendly and professional, I’ll definitely be back.

On my way to an interview I noticed my watch stopped working, I was passing Antoine’s (it’s on my block) so I ran in, he was on his way out the door, but turned around to help me out, he threw a new battery in my watch in about 45 seconds, and sent me on my way.
Quick, convenient, courteous, what else can you ask for :)

Was staying with a friend in NYC and managed to break a necklace of my host (oops). Walked in here and not only was it repaired immediately but the person behind the counter (Antoine perhaps?) was incredibly friendly. Highly recommended!
