I was around Astoria coming out of a hookah lounge and I was craving mexican food so me and my friend decided to try out this new place we order a chicken burrito and beef enchiladas with extra cheese and for dessert i had a tres leches cake it was pretty good the best i had around that area, I recommend to try it out the price isn’t that bad it was worth it, also i check out that they have a $ 1.00 slice pizza, i would definitely go back to eat some good mexican food.

I was very happy to see this place open(and it’s open 24⁄7!), but there are two glaring problems. : 1) The price for food varies widely depending on who you are, who is at the counter, and what you are wearing. For example, it appears as if cute girls get a discount, if the guy is in a bad mood or its been a slow day, people pay more, if the counter guy is in a good mood you pay less, if you come after work in a suit, you pay more, if you come after the gym in more shoddy looking clothes, you pay less, etc. No consistency in pricing at all. 2) Their pizza is crap. It comes out of the oven soggy — like, literally the dough is wet and mushy. You can’t hold the slice like a normal slice of pizza — it just falls and sinks down vertically — it’s so soggy it can’t support itself. It was just a mess, and also didn’t taste good at all. Every other pizza place within walking distance is better than this — avoid at all costs!

Ok I’m literally writing this as a warning to the locals like myself, who look for someone else to take care of dinner after a hard day at work, around 2am of course. No lie, no exaggerating the food sucks ass. I ordered a cheeseburger deluxe, and two tortas. I waited there and brought my food home. As my husband and I settled down to eat out dinner, we cut the burger and to find it raw and cold. Stupidly we didn’t check the rest of the food and left the house to return the ridiculously made burger. After receiving a refund and coming home, we open the sandwiches and find them to be cooked but just truly disgusting. I love Mexican food and was excited about this new 24 hour place, but with tough, cartilage ridden steak and mushy tomatoes, this put food in general to shame. Mexican or not. Sad to say we were happier with skipping dinner all together. But just hope I can help stop anyone else from making the same mistake.

Ordered a plain slice and some spicy chicken slice, I’m not sure what it was. The plain slice was good I enjoyed it much more this time around but it definitely wasn’t the same pizza I had over the Summer and thank god for that. The chicken slice was okay. The fact that it was spicy was a little weird but I was hungry and it was late and the only slice available

We were walking around on Broadway checking for a place to eat and we found this place called Cantinas. We walked in and the guy handed us a menu and it was pretty extensive on what they were selling. He went on to say they just opened up about 3 weeks ago and like any business it takes time to settle and acquire customers. After talking for a bit we decided to order a steak burrito and 2 tacos, one of Carnitas and the other of Carne Asada. The tacos were really good and cost $ 2.50 each. I have never been a fan of the burrito, whether I bought it from Chipotle or Guacamole(also on Broadway) but, this one was different. It was really good. It was served with a side of salad and sour cream on top. The inside was full of rice and beans all mixed together with the meat really nicely. This cost $ 8 and I do not mind the price because they were able to make a burrito I actually liked and enjoyed.
