I ordered the chicken and stake fajitas for takeout.
I should have known the place was questionable when they only accept cash.
Don’t !! When I picked up, I thought I walked into a Chinese takeout. All, everyone in the place is Chinese. Not a single Latino in the place. WTF! I asked how they can cook Tex-​mex and they said YouTube taught them. I can’t believe all the suckers that believe the that this place is tex-​mex.
If you want crappy food this is the place.

I went in and ordered the steak and chicken burrito. The taste was ok. I think there was chicken in there, but the steak was chewy and tough. My biggest peeve was that the «burrito» was simply folded in half instead of actually being wrapped like it should. It was driving me crazy trying to eat this thing. I’m no burrito elitist but I also believe in an even distribution of ingredients. They definitely failed on that front too as I made a mess trying to eat it. I should’ve just taken everything out, mixed it, and re-​wrapped it myself.

The food came so fast I was caught by surprise.
The delivery guy was nice, had change and made sure to call and find me. My place is difficult to find.
The food was nicely packaged, generous and good!
I’ve ordered twice from there and plan on ordering more. A coworker was ecstatic when he saw there was a Mexican place nearby that delivers

Wow ! I order from here and the quality of food and prices are great ! Very impressed !

Sometimes I walk right by the authentic Mexican taco truck parked half a block away because I just want a crunchy taco. I feel slightly ashamed about this, but have just admitted it to Unilocal.Anyway, it works for whenever I get a craving for Chinese Mex. Chicken can be so-​so, but the tortillas are pretty tasty.

The food was correct, salsas well-​composed, ingredients fresh. Nothing overly remarkable either way.
For the chicken, the place uses chicken thighs, so the meat is juicy and flavourful. The tortillas (flour) were strangely thick, almost like naan. Excellent deal for the price.
They let us open some good wine that we’d brought (so hard to find a byob place here in Astoria!), which was appreciated. I’d thought to bring glasses along; not sure if they’d have provided some for us.
Calm atmosphere, which was also appreciated.
Funny, though, to walk into a mexican food joint and have chinese owners… That’s why Queens is so great, though!

I feel especially qualified to review real, authentic Mexican food, as I lived in Texas for 2+ years. This place is bizarre. It’s one of the few «Mexican» restaurants north of the BQE in Astoria. Think about if you ordered grilled chicken breast at a cheap Chinese restaurant. Can you picture the taste and quality of meat? Now, just top all of your Mexican dishes with it — taco salad, chicken beans and rice, etc. it didn’t taste Mexican. It tasted good, and it was cheap, but not Mexican. The restaurant itself seems pretty clean and it has an A rating. I’m pretty picky, and my body/​digestion felt fine after the taco salad. It was easy on the pocketbook (under $ 15 for two people). But this place is CASH ONLY! Know that ahead of time. And it’s not glamorous. Think, a step down from a pizza place without the delicious smell for ambiance. Decent place but don’t take anyone here to impress (first date, out of town family, etc) This food essentially is good enough to keep you filled in a budget till the next meal. Happy eating!

This is easily the worst mexican «restaurant» I’ve ever gotten food from. I ordered two chicken enchiladas and not only did they arrive cold, but they weren’t even enchiladas. They were more like poorly made chicken wraps or fajitas. there was no green/​red sauce on them, and the cheese looked like rubber. The whole meal in general was just crap.
I rarely review places on here but this was just so bad that I was compelled to try to dissuade everyone from this place. I literally gave my roommate the other order of chicken enchiladas. Wish i could give this no stars.

I have been ordering from this place for 10 years. Super quick delivery, cheap and food is always consistent. Yes, it’s not super authentic mexican, but it’s far from Chinese tasting. Everything is always fresh and good, even their salsa is very good. (don’t love their guac though… i don’t know if it’s even homemade) If you’re expecting del rey taco truck, you’ll be disappointed. If you want good food, quickly delivered (they are like LIGHTENING), you will be more than happy. I recommend the soft tacos/​fajitas, the nachos, the quesadillas, and the rice and beans pretty good too.

I don’t write a lot of reviews, but I had to with this place. Ordered the grilled chicken combo with tortilla. Everything was bland. Nothing had flavor to it. The chicken, beans, sauce, rice, etc… Never again with this place. And I’m not a picky eater.

I ordered the chicken enchiladas for lunch. Overall my meal was greasy and flavorless. The tortillas were awful and the congealed cheese covering them was both inedible and unsightly. Needless to say I won’t be darkening their doors anytime soon.

Good Chinese Tortilla Place.
The price is about 3 – 5 per item. It is pretty good in that the tortillas are soft and the meats are dark meat chicken and the steaks are cut very thin. They use some stewed veggies (peppers and onions) into the tacos.Ｉ ｌｉｋｅ ｔｈｉｓ． Ｉdon’t know if other people like it as much but Iａｃｔｕａｌｌｙ ｆｅｅｌ ｅｘｃｉｔｅｄ ｗｈｅｎ Ｉsee Chinese people behind the counter. The flavor is far from Mexican. It’s totally Chinese.

Ordered food from here last night for dinner for the first time. It was all pretty foul. The chili taco was inedible, the veggie burrito was just about the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen and that was not guacamole… All of that I could look past, but at 4am I woke up and started projectile vomiting and now 8 hours later I still can’t keep anything down. The best part? I’m moving tomorrow and needed to finish packing but am currently too sick to leave my couch. Please don’t do this to yourself.

4 stars for food, but 6 stars for efficiency! :) I literary ordered and got delivered food in 12 minutes, and I live 10 blocks from them!

I LOVE Fresca Tortilla! It’s my go-​to delivery. I get the Mexican Pizza every time I order from here. I can’t give it 5 stars because I’ll order things in addition to the pizza and I’m not impressed. But delivery is cheap, fast and good. :)

Best Mexican food place ever. Looks like a Chinese take out place but has the yummiest food. Plus it’s super cheap. I eat here about 2 – 3 times a week. They use quality meat and make their own tortilla’s right there (you can sometimes watch them do it). My favorite is the tostada salad and the crispy steak tacos, but my friends love the giant burritos. The people are super nice and the delivery is the fasted in the city.

I first thought I was stepping into a Chinese takeout! I ordered the steak enchiladas and it wasn’t the least bit good. The steak was dry and there was no sauce whatsoever in or on top of the enchilada. I ended up taking all the meat out of the tortilla and mixing it with the little bit of guac that came with it.
With the taco truck a few steps away and the Mexico Blvd truck around the corner I don’t see any reason to go back to this place.

I know this place has some bad reviews but I am a fan.
I’ve been ordering from here for years and I always always get the same thing: E6– black and pinto bean enchiladas. Not traditional maybe– but SO filling– lots of beans rice, melted cheese and sides of their guac, sour cream and salsa.
For me– all that for $ 6 is quite a deal.

If you want to get food here that is not a ground up oily mess then don’t get anything with ground beef or chorizo. It was delicious because of all the grease (let’s be honest, fat makes things taste good) but it wasn’t mexican food. The tortillas were good, but they were closer to a thin pita bread texture.
I also got a chicken fajita and my boyfriend got the mexican pizza. Both were pretty great in terms of being filling and tasting good, but again not actually mexican food. The chicken in the fajita actually tasted sort of like the chicken you would get from one of those mall foodcourt chinese takeout places, but I like that chicken so I didn’t mind.

Really great value, I loved it!
Not mega portions, but with the prices being fair, you can buy a third dish (we got chicken & cheese nachos) to go with our meals.
We got change out of a twenty including drinks…
