I get a phone call– verifying my address.
I’m like– WHO IS THIS!!! I’m told a delivery of flowers will be made shortly– 15 min later I’m leaving my apt and see this little cutie at the door. After tipping him cause it’s hot out– I rush to read the card!
I love surprises. Beautiful fresh bouquet though the sunshine yellow roses were fully bloomed.

I’m honestly surprised by some of the negative reviews I saw when I came to write one myself. I’ve ordered several plants and in the past and I’ve been nothing but happy.
I’ve also gotten many flower arrangements delivered from them for birthdays and most recently for Mother’s Day. Gorgeous and long lasting!
I plan to use them again next week to have Orchid delivered

I walked in, gave them my budget and told them I needed flowers and balloons for my girlfriend’s graduation dinner. They put together a gorgeous arrangement, and were really flexible on delivery details (I needed the flowers delivered to a restaurant prior to opening).

i dont care what anyone says… this is the best flower shop i have ever seen! i’ve have been doing my flowers with peter cooper for over 15 years and they have never let me down! back in december 2014, i did my wedding with peter cooper and they were so helpful. my flowers came out so fresh and amazing. i received numerous complements on my center pieces and multiple people asked me for there phone number to place orders with them because everyone fell in love (including me :))
not only did they do my wedding they also did funeral work that was like no other. i must have ordered 15 to 20 family pieces, those pieces were the most beautiful funeral pieces i have ever seen. they used the freshest flowers out there! even the customer service is great. they are so friendly and always give you great ideas and are very patient with you. people giving this company a bad rep must not have a life and are probably miserable they should think twice because theres no flower shop like them!!! i guarantee there work 100%

I used this florist for my sister’s wedding and it wasn’t impressed at all. To top it off, he was late preparing the flowers on the time he promised and I had to contact him multiple times. Only plus is the corner location that’s easy to find.

Order flower at 9 and were delivered by 11. Great and fast service and the flowers were beautiful

I’m so sad and surprised to see that they have bad reviews! I used Peter Cooper Florist as my florist for my wedding ceremony. Most brides have a vision or dream of or plan their weddings for years. I am NOT one of those brides. I had no idea what I wanted or what would look good. George worked with my husband and I on very short notice (3 – 4 weeks before the wedding) in picking flowers for my bouquet, center pieces, and boutonnieres. They did an amazing job and worked within our budget. He could have made our arrangements filled with baby’s breathe and carnations but he made exquisite arrangements filled with beautiful high quality flowers. I love looking at my wedding pictures because of his flowers! My one caveat is that it is not cheap but we had a very small budget and he worked with what we were willing to do.

My experience started when I bought flowers from 1800flowers and it was farmed out to an initially who screwed up the order, and then the re-​order was farmed out to Peter Cooper. We had noted with 1800flowers for the re-​order to deliver on a specified day, however, that didn’t happen and it was delivered to our home many days earlier when no one was available. The flowers where dropped off in front of my door and left there where anyone can take freely.
When I got home I inspected the bouquet order and I see they also screwed up. It’s like they wanted to give you an inferior product when you paid top dollar for something else. You can sort of say like a bait and switch, but you won’t know it until the product is delivered. When I called 1800flowers to correct this mistake again, they told me I would have to exchange the last order. I was fine with this and expected the person to come at the time of re-​delivery. That didn’t happen, instead Peter Cooper Florist decided to come whenever they want, not confirming if I am home. Luckily for them I was home and about to run into a shower, but instead I got a surprised ring on my door. The kicker here is not only did PCF take back the flowers from their order, but they also wanted the flowers from the first order (first florist, NOT Peter Cooper florist). At this point I really didn’t care gave them the entire flower order of both sets.
Why on earth would they want to take the other order? There was no transparency on their part and it makes you think of them as being shady.
Verdict for this place a big ‘ol negative.

I challenged them with a unique design of Cinderella’s mice Gus and Jaq and the designers did an outstanding job. Excellent customer service, reliable, professional and awesome product outcome. Will shop at no other florist besides them! Thank you! Same day delivery as well. Recommend to all

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Two thumbs down. Non-​existent/​Horrific customer service. Rude. Liars. Crazy men SCREAMED AT ME and NEVER EVEN DELIVERED MY FLOWERS, after multiple days and A DOZEN HEATED PHONE CALLS. AWFUL HUMAN BEINGS. They’re supposed to deliver flowers and are clearly incapable of doing same. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.
I agree with Elisa B that these are the WORST FLORISTS IN THE CITY. Seriously, they must be a money laundering outfit, because after all of this drama there are no flowers. I have never had such a terrible experience with a florist in my life. It’s a big city and there are plenty of decent kind people trying to make a living & make people happy with their flowers. These people are not them. They are straight up thieves and dirtbags.
My boyfriend bought me flowers that were farmed out by FTD. The flowers were supposed to be delivered to me in NYC. The first day they were due the shop manager called me and was really nasty, as if the delivery of their product was a major inconvenience, saying that his delivery guy had already left Manhattan and would try the next day. He was SCREAMING AT ME like a crazy person and I let it go, thinking he must be having a bad day.
The next day the guy calls me, again SCREAMING AT ME, because his delivery guy cannot find my building, (which is a large building with multiple entrances & is hard to miss). I tell him where the many entrance are and asked them to leave the flowers with the people at the front desk, giving him the exact intersection of streets to enter on. HE FREAKS OUT. Again he SCREAMS at me that the delivery guy is there RIGHT NOW. OK I said, «I’ll go down and meet him, what block is he on?» He hangs up on me. I call him right back and say «where is the guy, I will go meet him» The guy rattles off 15 street names, in all different areas of the city, clearly not knowing where this guy is & where he’s supposed to be. Or just flat out lying. I tell him I’m happy to go meet the guy on the corner or on the street, wherever, I just want the flowers. He again SCREAMS at me that the guy is about 18 blocks away, which is not actually where my building is… and then tells me that FORGET IT. YOU DON’T GET YOUR FLOWERS. THE DRIVER DOESN’T WANT TO GO THERE. And he hangs up again. I call him back and tell him I want the flowers, he hangs up again. Clearly he is THE FLOWER NAZI. No Blooms For YOU!
I have never had a more unpleasant attempt at flower delivery, or customer service, for that matter. They RUINED the occasion that the flowers were supposed to commemorate by being so ridiculous, argumentative and bizarre. Awful human beings. I wish pestilence upon them and their «flowers».

Not a bad little florist, they had what I wanted which was fresh Eucalyptus. I can really say if the selection of anything else was good or bad since I was there for one thing. The last time I browsed around a florist and took too long my Koala bear got really pissed and gave me the 3^rd degree.

This is by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. My mom ordered a flower arrangement through 1−800-flowers for my birthday. After the first florist failed to deliver my arrangement on time, 1800 flowers arranged a new florist to send me the delivery on my actual birthday. They were supposed to arrive before noon. They did not arrive until much later. When they arrived, after showing my mom the picture, it was confirmed that they did not send the flowers my mom intended me to have (it was a pretty pitiful arrangement actually).
After my mom complained to 1−800-flowers, i get a phone call from the manager at Peter Cooper flowers telling me that since the order was cxl’d and they weren’t receiving payment, they would need my flowers back. I thought that was odd, so I explained to him that the reason we cxl’d the order was b/​c they sent the wrong flowers. He then informed me that it was «he said she said» and that they were adamant they sent the correct ones and he further demanded I give the flowers back. He was completely rude and disrespectful. I was upset so my mom called 1 – 800 flowers and told me not to answer the door and wait til she figured everything out. Well the florist arrives at my door 20 minutes later, rings my doorbell incessantly for 20 minutes while the manager keeps calling me demanding to know why I won’t answer the door and return the flowers.
I was completely appalled by how I was treated by this company. Their idea of customer service was completely unacceptable. They treated me as if I had stolen these flowers and my only crime was that I answered the door to receive them. Not to mention the quality of the arrangement was very sub-​par. I will NEVER use this florist and am now hesitant to use 1−800-flowers ever again because of this terrible experience. Flowers are supposed to bring people happiness, but instead they managed to make my birthday terribly upsetting.
