Absolutely excellent quality sushi. I’ve ordered from this place many times and just recently went in to eat. Very nice atmosphere inside and reasonable prices for drinks. I ended up chatting with someone else at the bar who knew the owners and met one of the owners who seemed like a very nice guy. Highly recommend this place for good sushi.

We ate the salmon teriyaki bento box(good portion and cooked just right), seaweed salad, and the sashimi pizza(which was very unique and tasty). We liked the relaxed lunch vibe and modern décor. Oh, Pink Nori also serves lychee mimosas — pretty unique. All in all, we’d recommend this hip sushi spot in Astoria.

Delicious sushi. I’ve eaten in the restaurant and have also gotten delivery — both are exceptional. Sushi is fresh and flavorful. Highlight roll: The Cajun Tuna — so good! Definitely give it a try. Pork Wonton soup was also fantastic. Nice broth and veggies mixed in.

Super cute place if your in the area and in the mood for some sushi. We went on a Monday night so it wasn’t crowded and parking was fairly easy. We had the rock shrimp, calamari, and the lovers roll(really cute presentation). We also had the lychee mojitos which were really strong but good nevertheless. The customer service was good, there wasn’t many people to attend to so that is to be expected. Will def come back and try some other rolls.

Excellent food and presentation, great customer service. I love coming here, but parking is terrible in Astoria so come a little early to find parking.

We had some rolls(cucumber, eel, avocado, salmon, and tuna) and nigiris(scallop and squid). Nigiris were good, but We were disappointed with the rolls. The rice felt over cooked and very inconsistently rolled. They just looked ugly and not appetizing. Tuna didn’t feel fresh, avocados were not ripe, and shrimp tempura was mushy. The price was reasonable.

Been here twice since my last review; at one occasion we sat at the bar and the other at a table with friends. Sitting at the bar was a whole different experience. The bartender was very attentive(said he was only there on weekends) his drinks were great. I love sour/sweet drinks so he recommended the Grapefruit Martini which was great! The BF asked for any suggestions and I must say they were all great. We began with the Rock Shrimp which has become my favorite! Presentation was beautiful. My BF ordered the Sushi Pizza and loved it. I’m not into avocado at all. I would have loved it if it wasn’t for the avocado addition. He loves avocado and loved the Sushi Pizza so if you are an avocado lover then this is def. for you. We were then recommended, and had, the 30th avenue roll which is Shrimp Tempura topped with Crab Meat, did not disappoint. We then had the Lovers Roll… ehhh not in love with it. It was not bad but we could have done without. We were there again with some friends and they loved it. This time around we had all the prev. rolls and appetizers(we wanted our friends to try them) as well as the Flaming Dragon Roll and the Godzilla Roll. The Flaming Dragon Roll was really good. I enjoyed it. The Godzilla roll wasn’t all that great. Too Flaky. We love the fact that with this place we are able to enjoy sushi while watching the games! Def. a plus.

NEVERAGAIN. I used to love Pink Nori, and now I will never return. Their customer service is terrible. I have been a loyal customer for years. I brought my friends here. I have brought large parties here. We have gotten our orders before and had problems, but they were minor so we kept giving them a chance. Tonight, their cashier messed up two orders. They admitted she was new and had made some mistakes today, but did they offer anything to make up for her admitted errors? NO. But here’s the clencher: I have ordered the Pink Alecia roll since Pink Nori opened. I know what it tastes like. I order it every single time. I’ve already had problems with how much they have reduced the amount of avocado on the roll – I mean, there is so little at this point that they shouldn’t even list it as an ingredient. But tonight, you know what I tasted when I bit into my Pink Alecia roll? Jalapeño. And there is definitely not supposed to be jalapeño in this roll. I had my husband and friend try it to confirm, and they were both shocked at the amount of jalapeño flavor. They ordered a couple items with jalapeño, but I can’t have it. Clearly, the chef didn’t take care at his station, and that is worrisome to me. I am sick to my stomach at this. We told the manager. We asked for nothing, just wanted to let them know. They were defensive and rude, and they offered nothing. They made excuses. I am disappointed and angry. Sushi isn’t exactly cheap, and it should be right when a customer has ordered so much. I will never order from here again, and I’m not bringing anyone here. This is seriously poor treatment of loyal customers, but it is even worse to have such low standards in the kitchen. Clean up between rolls. Gross.

I have eaten at pink nori a couple of times now and while the food is good here I wouldn’t say it is impressive. Ive ordered the 30th ave roll, birds nest, and lovers roll. Ive also had their peking duck sliders and sushi pizza and I feel that their appetizers are better than their rolls. The food tastes better at the restaurant than when delivered. Their staff is great and the deliveries are usually quick

This is a great location with decent size seating and has outdoor seating during the summer which is really nice. I’ve come here multiple times for lunch and dinner. For appetizers I’ve had the tuna pizza, Peking duck sliders, dumplings and rock shrimp. All the appetizers excellent. I have also tried their hot sake which I was a fan of. As for sushi I’ve tried the 30th avenue roll, Hercules roll, dragon roll and a couple of others and I think their sushi is mediocre. The fried ice cream is really good. I would give it a 3.5 star if I could. I intend on trying their hot food next time.

I’ve been here so many times I’m shocked I’ve never written a review! Pink nori is my favorite sushi place in the 30th ave/Broadway area and possibly my fave sushi spot in Astoria. Sushi is really good. They have a lot of creative special rolls, generous amounts of fish in all rolls and the rolls are fresh and flavorful. The service is great. Super friendly and attentive service consistently. The ambiance is really nice too. Cool lighting and nice music — a great date night spot. They also have TVs by the bar if you’re looking to keep up with a sports game while you’re out. They have a nice selections of house cocktails as well, staring at $ 8.

Came here for a double date on a Thursday night. It’s cool eating outside, but the street noise could get annoying. When I got there around 6, the outdoor seating was empty so I grabbed a table of 4. By the time the rest of my party arrived, all seats were taken. Who knew a sushi place was this poppin’ in Astoria? Happy hour on drinks only is 4 – 7. Friends got $ 5 drinks. Even though I picked at everyone’s dishes, I sadly don’t remember what everyone else got lol — but I ordered the filet mignon tarts as my appetizer and the sexy pink lady roll for my entrée. Everything was delicious. Service was not bad. I recommend.

I have sat down for lunch and dinner twice at Pink Nori since my last review and wanted to give an updated review on my experiences. They are my new #1 pick for sushi and japanese in Astoria. They knocked Watawa right out of that spot! The prices are more reasonable, and you get SO much more! The dinner bento box includes shrimp tempura, veggie tempura and a California roll. All was delicious! I truly am a fan of the create your own sushi roll. I don’t eat anything raw(yet) and always find myself looking at menus, finding awesome rolls with one or two ingredients that turn me completely off. This is the perfect way to get sushi newbies or picky sushi eaters what they want! I am shocked I haven’t seen this anywhere else. Go Pink Nori! The pink noritini was delicious and the perfect balance of strong and fruity. Our last visit, was on a tuesday evening with our toddler and the staff couldn’t have been sweeter and more accommodating of her. I love the menu, tons of options. I can’t wait to try more.

We had an option to sit outside or inside at a half booth and chair. Inside because it was a bit cool at night. Love that the bar is at the front of the house with TVs showing the hockey game and etc. I was distracted as always with checking into Swarm and Unilocal. We were planning to share some rolls but I never ate raw fish sushi and my friend says what’s the point of eating sushi =) Food: Pretty in Pink Roll(my friend’s…3 raw kind of fishes), Bird Nest Roll(my order) and shared a Chicken & Shrimp Fried Rice(same price as having one meat) Boy, the service is pretty slow because the Special Rolls takes up a lot of time, details, and plating but when we finally get our orders… of course PICTURETIME! Wow my order of Sushi was sooo Cool and Awesome with the light. I did popped my cherry with my friend’s sushi. I hardly chew but just swallowed LOL. The fried rice was nothing special about it and a little bit bland. Definitely love my Bird Nest Roll soooo much!

Ordered again. This time pick up. Very cute, intimate, romantic restaurant! Definitely on my radar for a date night, or intimate night with friends. The staff were very nice. Order was ready when I came in. Same beautiful presentations as before. SOOOO good! The Amberjack is phenomenal, as is the Striped Bass. Such beautifully fresh, sweet, slightly briny urchin!!! The 30th Ave Roll was quite good. I tend to get over imitation crab within the first bite or two. Wish I’d known they use that over fresh. Though should have known from the color of the pictures listed here. Still, very nice presentation, good flavor, and a great roll if you like imitation crab. LOVED the Pretty in Pink Roll!!! Glistening fish, stayed together perfectly, sauce mixture accompanied it beautifully!!! One of their better rolls, from what I’ve had. Really can’t wait to dine in, let alone take advantage of what looked to be a good happy hour!
