Tasty Fast Food Pizzeria

This is my go to place for quick late night food. My husband and I tried multiple items on the menu and never been disappointed. Their personal pizza, chicken fingers, and bbq steak sandwich are our favorites.

Their service is bad. When I walk in, they do not even lookup and give eye contact. I have to stand there and wait until they are ready to see me. No hello, or I will be with you in a minute. I ordered nachos, they hardly put any topping on, for $ 9, are they crazy? $ 9 for mostly a plate of plain chips, with a tiny amount of topping?
Their service is always terrible. This is just one in many times I have had the worst service from them. The Bel Aire Diner on 21 street is way better.

Just ordered a Cheesesteak and it might have been the worst ever. Oh and Trust me, when i ordered, i wasnt expecting Pat’s and Geno’s showing up at my door, but the steak literally had ZERO flavor. If i closed my eyes while i ate it, i would never guessed i was eating steak. All you taste is bread and maybe some of the peppers and onions they throw on it (those barely tasted like anything either).
If i were opening a food business in Astoria, quality Cheesesteaks would be my number 1 choice. Especially if its competing with places like this.

This place is ok, but I’ve had better.
They lack love! LOL! I wish their marinara sauce was more fresh and homemade rather than out of a can, use real tomato’s still left in it to give it some zest and a kick rather than just pure purée… YYYYUK!
Their lack imagination and variety of fresh Pizza toppings makes them just another mediocre generic super greasy pizzeria that honestly could do a lot better if they showed more love, because their not entirely bad. I’ve had worse actually!
They should take a look at their competitor nearby like Napoli who make probably the best in the neighborhood, all fresh tasting and quite a variety of toppings to appeal to either heavy vegans or meat, seafood and poultry eaters alike with even a smaller display case than Tasty’s yet still get the job done, and not greasy either. You can tell there’s pride and love in every dish they put out.
I hope they read this and instead of getting defensive, take it as a suggestion and as a challenge to step their game up. Because Napoli doesn’t deliver and I hate to walk up that far, but I have just because they’re that Freak’n good! Sorry!

Tasty offers up a number of healthy dishes. From the Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad to the soho wraps. Excellent choice for lunch or dinner…

I’ve been ordering from here for years and I can say they are pretty consistent. I’ve eaten in in the past but its not exactly the nicest place to do so.
What I love about them are the menu choices, the big portions and plain ‘ol good food. Their baked ziti is the best I’ve ever had and the Manhattan chicken is pretty darn good too. The chili is great and the heroes don’t disappoint. Their pizza is pretty good too, not too thick pizza dough. not too chunky crusts, the only issue is I wish their mushroom topping was better.
Conclusion: Everything I’ve ordered from them so far has not left me unsatisfied and I will definitely continue ordering from them. Much better than ordering from the Bel-​Aire diner. Much faster service & delivery and better staff.

This is just your basic fast food joint that isn’t a big chain. The food is good, I was actually really pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed their Cesar salad.
The thing that really sets this place apart though is the service: super fast delivery and when you go in the staff is always very friendly.

We ordered there a fair amount of times. Fast delivery, good selection, reasonable price. Ate there a lot. But one time, the chicken in the penne gave me straight up food poisoning. Sick all night. Very sick. I am scared to order from there from now on. I wish this never happened but can’t trace it back to anything else. It was definitely just bad chicken.

Okay, let me start off by saying, I live a few blocks down and I’ve been hitting up this place since forever. I just never really got around to writing a review.
I just ordered my usual, disco fries (cheese fries with gravy on top, YUM) and mozzarella sticks at 9:20, and not even fifteen minutes later, the delivery guy was at my doorstep. The food was hot and delicious, as always. As I type this, I’m chowing down on my disco fries.
The food is great, management is nice, and it’s a pretty clean place. The ‘B’ on the window doesn’t phase me, this place is on point.
Also, their pastas are amazing. I’m pretty damn Italian, and although they aren’t like mom’s cooking, so to say, they’re great.

Love this place. It is all the it claims to be: tasty, fast, and food. I have picked up from here before, and the new owner is very nice. Actually, too nice. He is very chatty and made me wonder if he was hitting on me. I realized that it may be a European thing, and that I am a bitchy New Yorker who hates talking to anyone I don’t know.
The food is very consistent, and the pizza is actually really good. I like their chicken parm sandwich and mozzarella sticks. Delivery is SO fast and always hot. The B rating does worry me… but doesn’t stop me from hitting them up on Seamless.

Love tastys been going there for years. Good food for a great price. Depending on whos cooking the pizza is sometimes burned but other than that its clean and the staff is nice

Ordered a simple cheese pizza and it was pretty good ! Good amount of cheese, tasty sweet sauce, crust may have been frozen though which I’m not a fan of but it was still good !

I’ve been coming here for many years. I don’t think this place was originally called Tasty Fast Food, it use to be named something else but the owner or management is pretty much the same. I originally took it for an all-​in-​one: we serve burgers, pasta, pizza, sandwiches, wraps, salad and anything on the side that is fried, baked, boiled or grilled kind of spot, and it kind of is. But I go there mainly for the gyros. The gyros are off the rack, the generic kind fount in most places, I come here for that when I want a regular gyro. The pita is heated soft to a light crisp, the Tzatziki sauce is two big tablespoons worth, the greens fresh and the meat flavorful. The whole gyro is fresh and delicious, that’s why I come.
The pizza is bland looking, but when they heat it up, it becomes okay, crispy with oily cheese. The Sicilian slice is thick but soft centered, crisp dough, crisp cheese and a sweet sauce, pretty good. The regular slice is a, well, average slice.
I like this place because it’s no frills neighborhood spot. Don’t expect anything wow, just good, I mean tasty, food. As you walk in, take your order for take-​out or sit in the back with smalls photos of Mediterranean pictures on the tiled walls and average seating. Restroom available.

what a name to live up to. it’s gotta be fast and tasty!
buffalo chicken pizza. huge. meaty. not enough cheese, but that’s okay you just pour some bleu cheese dressing on it. sicilian style so the bread is thick and crunchy. one slice is enough for a full dinner! and at a little over $ 3 it is definitely worth it.
the wings were crunchy and made fresh on the stop so it took a little longer than average.
also, the philly cheesesteak– delicious! a generous amount of meat piled on top of a fluffy french roll. needed more cheese because i am a cheese fanatic, but other than that the meat wasn’t too fatty and shreeded just so.
service was a little slow– but other than that it is clean, fast, and pretty mouth-​watering. i wouldn’t eat this kind of food every day, but i’ll probably start stopping by here if i’m too lazy to make dinner or for some late night snacks!

Omg, there nothing from here that I have eaten that I did not like. I’ve been eating from here for years, I have even used them to cater some of the parties I’ve put together at my job.
Luke (the owner) has never disappointed and has always delivered quality food.
The chicken scampi with vegetables over rice is so good, and all my co-​workers rave about the eggplant parm and baked ziti. The kids loved the homemade chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks. The prices are so reason whether your ordering a personal meal/​s or having them cater.
I don’t recommend the potato skins because there not potato skins it actually a half of a bake potato lol
I will definitely continue to order and eat from here.

I had a coupon for
and really wanted to use it so I searched for a place nearby to use this coupon. Tasty’s Fast Food came up and I looked through their menu and seemed to have a variety of choices to choose from. I ended up getting the chicken souvlaki platter which came with salad, pita bread, french fries, and tazaiki sauce. It was AMAZING! It was honestly the best chicken souvlaki I have ever eaten. Usually it tends to be somewhat dry but not from Tasty’s. Their greek salad that came with my meal was pretty good also. I can’t wait to try this place again!
Oh and I got a take out and when I arrived to this place, it was ready on time and really fresh. Love it!

There’s no better neighborhood place for a cheap, quick bite than Tasty’s.
Tasty Fast Food is nothing more than a short order place boasting a menu from pizza to burgers to gyros. Now if you want pizza, I would head back to Broadway for Sac’s, but for a burger, salad, wrap etc Tasty never disappoints. It’s a short walk from Broadway over to 34^th Ave, and can be a quick stop from the Broadway N/​Q station.
There food is fresh, and the staff has always been friendly. Considering there are about five laundromats within a two block radius, it’s a great place to grab a bite during the spin cycle.
It operates much more of a take-​out/​delivery place, but does have a few seats in the back if you chose to stay. Portions are large, especially for the salads, and the prices are fair. Always worthwhile.

I live a block away from tasty fast food and thank god for that. When I’m not in the mood to make myself anything to eat this is where I go. i wouldn’t recommend going to this place to eat, but it’s a great take out place so if you live near try it out. I always do pickup cause I live a block away and they are always busy but no one is ever sitting inside. Everyone does take-​out. It’s all you can ask for from a take-​out munchie spot.
Everything I’ve ever order from here has been satisfying and delicious and I’ve tried a good amount of the menu at this point. A regular slice is 1.75 and it’s good for the price. This is fast food but tasty fast food. No pun intended. An avearage meal here is about $ 7 – 8. They have it all on the menu… wraps, pizza, salads, sandwiches (triple deckers), burgers, specialty sandwiches (cheesesteak, chicken sandwiches), pasta, and a slew of appetizers and sides like mozzarella sticks, garlic knots, fries, cheese fries, disco fries, pizza fries, buffalo wings, etc. They have it all!
If I were to take a way a star for anything it would have to be their topping slices. i had the buffalo and bbq chicken slices and they were both awful. Just because they have topping doesnt mean you dont put sauce. I don’t get that at all. Without sauce pizza is just dry. The chicken on both slices weren’t that great either. Easily the worst thing I’ve ordered here right after the disco fries.
Nevertheless this place has sooo much to offer you just can’t go wrong.

Let there be no secret that this is not a destination spot. While I will say my El Paso wrap was tasty, this is your run of the mill miscellaneous combo pizza/​salad/​wrap/​burger place.
Sure price is right here but it wasn’t like the ingredients were something to write home about.
My El Paso wrap was $ 5.50 had fried chicken cutlet, french fries, generic bbq sauce and sour cream in it. The sandwich hit the spot given my halftime run during the Jets game.
Next time I’m craving the value play, I might stop into Tasty Food. Nice to know there is another spot in the neighborhood but I can’t say I’d be rushing back. For a few dollars more, you can head to Bel-​Air diner and get a similar wrap and not wonder as much what’s in it. (I say as much)
This place is more of a cheap foggy stone than a «hidden gem». :-/

I’ll tell you how! It’s because it is clearly an undiscovered gem hidden in Astoria! Well, sorry but the secret is out!
This all started when I found out my girlfriend was holding out on me. One day we were sitting around trying to think of something new to eat. She «casually» mentioned a place her and previous roommates had ordered from. I took one look at the menu and fell in love! I’m still having difficulty with the fact that this was never disclosed to me earlier in the relationship. :)
ANYWAY! Having not had a caesar chicken wrap since the one created for the Gods at a place in Chicago (Mystic Celt, check it out), one could say I was pining for it. When I saw it as an option I was immediately sold. As if it even really needed it, the deal was sealed when I saw the 5 garlic knots for $ 1 option.
So let’s see, we ordered two wraps (the El Paso (bbq chicken) and the Casear), and two sides of garlic knots. Grand total? $ 13! They deliver for free, and are pretty fast at getting it to you. The only thing I will say is that they kept me on hold for a while. Now, whether that means they were just really busy with the non-​yelp crowd, or something else I do not know. But, fellow Unilocalers, GET ORDERING HERE!
It is a well known fact amongst my friends that I have 4 stomachs. What? I run, swim, and hit the gym 4 times a week. What do you expect? Well, I guess you’d expect me to still be hungry after a simple wrap, right? Wrong. I can barely get through this delicious melding of meat, veggies, and tortilla.
This was the second time we ordered from here. The first time my girlfriend ordered the penne pasta. I tried a bit. DIVINE. Seriously, it tasted no different than something you would receive at a pricier Italian restaurant!
