As a laundry they are fine. Lots of washers and dryers. But they cut corners wherever they can (note shorter wash cycles in their machines than others in neighborhood for same price) and they don’t always turn the hot water on even though you choose hot water in machine.
Drop off is pretty standard. They don’t lose stuff too often but when they do — don’t expect them to care greatly and don’t expect them to try very hard to find it. Don’t expect them to use quality detergent and they wash everything in cold water. But they fold very nicely and prices are just slightly above nearby places.
If you need drop off service you may have a problem if you work. They can only come certain times and sometimes they forgot to come until I called and reminded them. They have to wait until another person comes in (usually the husband who works another day job) because they only have the one lady working there by herself and she can’t leave to deliver/​pick up laundry. If you are flexible with your timing or someone else is home — they drop off and pick up just fine but DO expect a tip for doing it.
Another minor thing — lots of children running around with almost no supervision. If you do the laundry there yourself and you are not Spanish speaking expect to be in the minority. Again — no problem with this because the people are all pleasant but the kids running around can get on your nerves.
Having said all this this — I’ve still been going here for 15 years after moving to Astoria from the city. When it gets really busy they have more machines then anyone else in neighborhood. You can get in and out quickly. And the people are nice enough. They’ve helped me out a lot when I was busy and needed them to finish a load of laundry (tip expected of course). Tips here will always be welcome and bring better service.
WARNING: Don’t bring dry cleaning here. It goes outside to a third party so stuff often gets lost and even when it comes back the people who run the laundromat can never seem to locate your clothes. I always had to go through the rack myself to find their clothes. If you’re used to the way it works in Manhattan — don’t expect that here.

Horrible. I’ve taken my dry cleaning there 4 times, and this is the 4^th time they’ve not had it when they told me it would be done. I’ve also had to send back most of the items that I’ve dropped off because they didn’t get cleaned the first time. There are way better dry cleaners around, this business will never see my money again.

This is a very clean and comfortable location to get some laundry done. $ 2 for a regular wash and $ 0.25 for 7 minutes in the dryer. Don’t know how these prices compare. They have seating and lots of bins on castors. Also you can buy soap here if you need some.

The people who work here are very helpful and quick to help if you’re having issues with a machine. Once or twice my washer hasn’t worked properly, but I have gotten my money back. One beef I have is that two washers that are side by side might run 10 minutes off from each other, even if they were started at the same time. The laundromat could also probably do with more triple or quadruple load washers instead of so many doubles. However, this laundromat is clean, has good hours, and also has good drop off laundry service.

I guess its a little weird to Unilocal about the laundry place… but really like this place. Not only do they always do a nice job with my laundry, its very quick, and very inexpensive (I think its 75 cents/​lb). So I can drop off a HUGE bag of laundry, plus an entire separate blue ikea bag of sheets, towels, bath mat etc, and i rarely reach $ 30.
The best part about this place are their hours, which are 7am-​11pm, so you can pretty much always get your laundry.
I downgraded them 1 star because of all the annoying families with children running around. I solved that by dropping off instead of doing it myself. The space isn’t especially pretty, but hey, my clothes come back smelling nice and they are soft.
