Santa Margarita Auction Barn

Today was the very first time that I have ever attended an auction. It was the greatest experience ever. I did not know that it was closed previously, but if the previous owner was any thing like this family, then they must have been great people. As I walked into the lot I met Justin who explained how the auction worked. Then I met his mother (Cathy)a truly wonderful lady, then I met Brent, Justin’s Dad and finally I met Justin’s sister (Jessica). What a tremendously bonded family working together. And I found out that this has been going on for 3 generations, just like my family in Hawaii. I would recommend anyone to visit once and feel the experience and you will be addicted to the great positive energy the entire family radiates. And yes, they are OPEN and Brent told me that they were opening two more locations, one in the south and one in the north.

Tom Foran and his wife ran this place for decades! What a wonderful job they did and the beautiful things that flowed through the doors. The place is now closed and has changed hands to an antique store /​consignment place. Bye Tom!

I can tell you, what a lot of fun it is… and so many unique antique items. Come by even if you aren’t wanting to spend money, and just browse… you are sure to see something that you won’t be able to identify… called history. New items come in constantly, just never know what you are going to see.
If you have never been to an auction before, just come and watch, and if you need advice or estimated prices that an item may bring talk to one of the pleasant auction employees. Everything sells to the highest bidder with no minimums… so you never know… you may be the lucky bidder.
