This is my favorite nail salon in and out of Athens. The technicians are all so friendly and skilled. They take their time and make sure the services they provide are just right. If you’re in a rush, they will make you a priority. The other reviews are right, it is super clean. My favorite part of my experience is the awesome neck and shoulder massages they give with a gel manicure.

Didn’t love it, didn’t hate it. Pros: Lots of colors to choose from Good location(next to Kroger) Use liners in tubs Cons: Did try to up sell me(of course) Not a relaxing environment, it’s very crowded and noisy Didn’t let me hang around to dry ATALL, so I ended up walking around outside so my nails could try

Best nail salon in this town that I have yet to find… I have been getting gel manicures for years twice a month and I enjoy a pedicure almost monthly. Over the years I’ve had excellent and horrible experiences in a variety of big cities. When I moved to Athens I visited several salons before trying LV Nails. Now it is the only salon in town I visit — especially for a gel polish manicure. It is my experience that every nail salon will attempt to up-sell additional services. LV nails is no different in that regard, but after declining a service here I have never felt pressured. I have been offered a third coat of color with the gel polish almost every visit and times when I was not offered and requested a third coating, my request was happily met. They have standard comfortable massaging chairs and do use disposable liners in the feet tubs(important to me). I have had several nail techs here and the service has been exceptional every time. They have more gel options than almost any salon I have ever visited — and I am accustomed to having options. I especially like that they carry every brand of gel. I am going in tomorrow for a manicure — my current gel polish has been on almost a full month and other than growing out at the base, it has stayed on strong and has not begun to peel or chip at all!

No wait on a Wednesday morning. They did offer salt scrub, callus removal, and brow waxing, but did not push the matter when I declined. Use disposable liners in the spa chairs, which I really appreciate. The lady even offered to let me continue to enjoy the massage chair for a few more minutes(wasn’t getting polish, so didn’t need to wait to dry), which I felt was considerate. This may be my new nail salon.

I’m not usually one to write a review but after my experience at LV Nails, I feel compelled to do so. I had a great experience at LV Nails! My friend and I went as a special treat after work and LV Nails didn’t disappoint! The staff was so incredibly friendly and conversed with us like they had known us for years! Their service was exceptional and so was the quality of their work! We were both ABSOLUTELY pleased with our pedicures and manicures. We most definitely plan to return in the future and would recommend LV nails to our friends!

Extremely rude! My friend(from out of town) and I stopped in LV Nails on a rainy Sunday afternoon and had a very unpleasant experience. We did not have an appointment, but they had about 20 spa pedicure chairs and only 2 of them were filled(obviously not very busy). They have a larger color selection(both for gel colors and regular polish) than I have seen in any other establishment. However, the employees don’t give you time to even look at the colors! Two employees came up and asked both my friend and I several times if we were ready after being in the establishment for about 2 minutes, and it was clear that we hadn’t picked out colors yet. We were rushed to the chairs after still only being in the nail salon for about 5 minutes and work began. The woman performing my pedicure asked if I wanted the salt scrub pedicure, and I answered, «no I just want the basic pedicure please». She then said«it’s only $ 25!» To which I answered, «no I just want the basic pedicure please.» She continues the pedicure and then said«you are really dry, sure you don’t want the salt scrub?» To which I, again, answered, «no I just want the basic pedicure, thank you.» Then, my friend’s pedicurist asked her if she would like the salt scrub, to which she also answered, «no I just want the basic pedicure.» The employee replied, «whole pedicure only $ 25.» My friend said okay because she was under the impression that the employee was telling her that the basic pedicure was $ 25. I was in the pedicure chair next to her and overheard the misunderstanding. I spoke up to my friend and said, «no the basic pedicure is only $ 18, she’s trying to sell you the salt scrub for $ 25.» My friend realized what the employee was trying to do, and she spoke up and said, again, «no, I just want the basic pedicure.» About 10 minutes later, my friend notices that the pedicurist is applying the salt scrub to her legs. She spoke up and said, «no, I didn’t ask for the salt scrub, I wanted the basic pedicure.» The employee argued with her. I spoke up and said, «we specifically told you that she wanted the basic pedicure, I know what you are trying to do.» She obviously did not appreciate that I had figured out her scam and said, «I was not talking to you! I was talking to her…» I assured the employee that my friend would not be paying the extra $ 7 for the salt scrub that she never asked for, and she didn’t. I also assured the employees that we would not be visiting their establishment again. It is not worth losing customers over $ 7. Overall, the employees were rude and pushy, and tried to rush us through what was supposed to be an enjoyable Sunday. The only plus is the large color selection; however, they don’t give you time to look at them, so that’s not much of a plus after all. Also, it was more expensive than the same services at other places in town($ 51 for gel manicure and basic pedicure).

I had a really good experience here! The service was friendly and quick and they did a great job. I had an event coming up and had bitten my nails to the quick, so I got acrylics and they look great. I thought the price was reasonable too.

Quoted for two children to have their toes painted, whilst I was having mine done they asked twice if I wanted them to have flowers or dot’s both of which I declined they went ahead and gave them dot’s! And then wanted to charge me for them. I agreed to an upgrade on my pedi to $ 25, at the finish I was asked for $ 30, because apparently I had hot towels!!! Really? Constantly trying to upgrade you at every turn, not relaxing

With a ton of reading to do for school and a jam packed week ahead, I knew I needed to unwind and relax a bit before I went crazy. My solution was to grab my reading assignment and head to the nearest nail salon to enjoy a pedicure in a massage chair while hopefully knocking out a couple chapters of «The Tenant of Wildfell Hall» by Anne Bronte for my 19th Century British Novel class(just as thrilling as it sounds :)) LV Nails is right next to the Alps Kroger(aka Hot Kroger), and they had a massage chair and a technician waiting for me the moment I walked in. It is impeccably clean and very comfortably furnished. Yet…not a five star experience. I was in and out in 20 minutes. While maybe that might be good for some people, I wanted to chill out in a massage chair for at least 45 minutes. Nope, not today. And the technician, though very good, tried to upsell me at least 3 times. Twice suggesting a manicure and also suggested a design on my toes. Umm, no thanks, just the pedi. Somehow, the whole thing reminded me of Anjelah Johnson’s(in)famous«Nail Salon» youtube video: Will I go back? Hmm, maybe. But I’m still searching for that good nail salon here in Athens.
