The Loft Art Supplies

I’m not a native to Athens so I’m not sure how many niche art supply stores are out there that aren’t attached to studios or schools, but I am very happy to have found The Loft whereas before my only options were Michael’s or Hobby Lobby.
Cons: A few brands I frequent aren’t available. Some paints look sparse and not sure how often they restock. (All of this is really not a big deal to me though.)
Pros: There are sales items and the prices aren’t as inflated as what I’ll see at non-​specialty stores. I think the staff is comprised of local artists?(I’m not sure.) They’re also friendly and helpful. It’s niche and it’s close to where I currently live.(My other options were only Atlanta previously.)
They offer classes and framing per usual.
There are a lot of deal’s going on at this place and they offer frequent shoppers rewards by tallying up sale items onto a large score card. Just ask and they’ll start one for you. =)
I’m rather used to niche art stores as they’re in mild abundance and choice range in Atlanta and offer really nice deals on paint and canvases, but nigh existent past the perimeter. I’m really glad to have found this place and as long as I’m in and around Athen’s will be stopping here for my art supplies.
