Mete Tasin Studio

I reserved a choir to sing at my wedding nine months before the actual wedding date and the choir ended up canceling on me six weeks before my wedding. My mom and I scrambled to find a replacement for my ceremony music and we were so very lucky to find Mete on Gigmasters. I had a full Catholic wedding ceremony and Mete was the soloist for the whole event. His singing was beyond beautiful. All of my guests were so impressed and so was I. I’ve never been to a wedding ceremony where the congregation clapped for the singer, but my guests definitely did for Mete (and his applause was well deserved).
Not only was Mete’s singing sublime, but he was also very professional. He met immediately with us once we contacted him, even though he was flying out to London in a couple of days. I also made a last minute addition to the song list and Mete learned the song in less than a day to be able to sing it for me at my wedding.
The choir’s cancellation turned out to be the best thing for our wedding ceremony. Instead of a local choir singing at our wedding, we were so lucky to have a world class singer. I would highly recommend Mete for any event, especially for a wedding. He really made our ceremony one to remember. Thank you so much Mete!

Mete has a special voice that riches deep into your heart. I was lucky to listen him at several occasions. He sang at the Turkish Festival and many different events here in Monterey, California. He already concurred many people’s heart in Carmel and Monterey. We were very honored to have you at Republic Day Dinner Dance. My husband and I booked Mete as the sole performer for a dinner opera night fundraiser that we hosted at our home. Our guests were enthralled by his incredibly beautiful voice, his charm and his all around great performance and charisma. It has been six months and people are still talking about Mete. I have booked him again for a special event later this month and I am now checking his availability for a Centennial Ball that I am working on for next year. Mete adds class and elegance to every event he is associated with. Mete is mesmerizing!

Mete was perfect for our birthday celebration. He was on-​time and prepared to perform for the audience who loved him. His voice was beautiful, and he is very charismatic. He knew every song that was requested. If we ever needed an Opera singer again, he would be the one.

I am a member of the Aurora Mandolin Orchestra as well as a regular opera-​goer. Mete graciously performed classic Neapolitan and Roman songs with our mandolin orchestra at a recent concert. It was a transcendent experience. I have also had the pleasure of hearing Mete perform in a current production of La Traviata at Opera San Jose. I enjoyed the show so much I am planning to see it again.
Mete has an outstanding, clear, rippling voice and one of the nicest personalities I have come across. He is patient and confident without being overbearing in the slightest. Highly recommended.

Wonderful teacher.
I have met Mete through another friend, and I am grateful for that reference. Up until meeting him, I was biased against vocal coaches as my prior experience, even thought it was a reference from Stanford Music department, was really bad.
Mete, with his warm personality, honesty, and his wonderful teaching changed all my prior experiences. I enjoy learning with him and feel I am getting better control over how to use my voice more efficiently. He always gives examples, explains in detail why he is doing what. That helps me tremendously because that way I understand the reasons. He is also always on time, and very reasonably priced. I recommend Mete highly.

I have had a few piano instructors thought my life, but Mete by far has been the best teacher. He is very patient and is also understanding when he helps me though difficult pieces. He is a serious when it comes to teaching and his work, but he makes his classes fun an enjoyable because of his humor. Overall, by working with him, you see his passion and it motivates you to become a better musician.

Mete has been my vocal instructor for the past two months. I hadn’t taken serious vocal lessons in the past so my voice was as untrained as it could get. :) He has been great at identifying where my strengths and weakness were and he could design the lessons in such a way that I made a lot of progress in such a short time. I am now able to produce operatic sounds that I didn’t think I have in me!
All this preparation is for my upcoming first album and Mete is critical to my singing quality both in technique and interpretation aspects.
