Visited today, when I’m guessing that I was in the«hood» area of Atlanta. This place is located inside The Westend Mall, this place wasn’t impressive at all. It gave me a similarity to Malls of the America back home.(For my Miami Unilocalers). I was very hungry and came across this place. The menu displayed literally caught my eye. The food looked very appetizing. I asked the guy in front of me about American Deli, and he told me there are a small chain around the Atlanta area. He said everything was pretty good. I ordered the shrimp fried rice with lemon pepper wings and it included a drink for about $ 9. One of my sons ordered a plain cheeseburger with fries and drink for about $ 7, not bad. The other one had boneless barbecue wings with fries and drink his was on special for $ 7.50. All food is cooked to order, which is good and fresh to taste. One thing I didn’t like was that if you are eating in, it’s still placed in a to go container. My food took approximately fifteen minutes to prepare. I was surprised that everything tasted pretty good. Shrimp fried rice, lemon pepper wings, burger and boneless wings all were very tasty. Fruit punch was just right, not too sweet. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars was because of its location inside the run down mall and how I observed other people purchasing food from other locations and taking up space in the booths and eating here. I must try another location elsewhere to see what else I can try from American Deli. It’s a must try if you are in Atlanta.
