Lunch was great at a great price for this type of restaurant at that location… Bruschetta was amazing– ricotta, Parmesan, tomatoes and balsamic reduction, very good! We also ordered a chicken salad sandwich and kale salad with salmon, very nice dishes. Service was also nice.

The service was disappointing, given that it was a Ritz-Carleton. I must say that waiters were pretty armatures. While we were having lunch, 2 tables out of 5 tables at the patio were really upset and managers had to apologize them and take care of their bills. We also experienced really slow service and one of our orders was not placed but we only ordered 3 things, though. It’s pity that the service was’t that good but the food was good? I wish they have more pride working at one of the best hotels to serve their guests.

The experience of this place is unbelievable due to 1 person Jennifer the hostess. I have been to restaurants all over the US and she is by far the best hostess we have ever encountered. If i owned a restaurant she would be working at my restaurant.

The ambience, patio, and service were all very nice at this downtown lunch spot. Nice to be one level above the hustle and bustle of the street. My companion enjoyed her crab cake and my neighbors enjoyed their Southern fried chicken sandwich with cole slaw. But beware the vegetable lasagne – not at all what you may be hoping for, unless you like being unwhelmed.

My family dropped in for lunch and was a little put off by the short menu. Spouse got lamb sausage and lentils. He enjoyed the flavors and ate the whole plate. Son had spaghetti with meat sauce and only ate two bites. He gobbled down the cheddar biscuits though! I ordered the Brussel sprouts and the mussels – both appetizers. The mussels were just okay, but the Brussel sprouts were everything!!! Overall, we left full and happy. But Atlanta Grill would not become a favorite destination.

Service was overbearing and too much. The staff don’t communicate with each so you get asked every two minutes how is your meal. It is laughable and made it embarrassing for our clients. Food was ok although plates brought out at separate times and steaks were dry. We were in town for a conference and will not return and would not recommend. They had live music which was a bit loud and made it difficult to talk during our meal.

The food was orgasmic. The atmosphere was perfect, dark and jazzy. I felt like a mafia family with an excellent booth. I was wondering when Frank Sinatra was going to make a surprise appearance. It’s his kinda joint.

Love the balcony seating. Food was good as well. Service could have been a little better. the sides are also very small so if you’re sharing I would definitely suggest getting more than one. Dessert was amazing. We got the bread pudding, would definitely come again!

My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a «nice» dinner while we were in Atlanta and we got exactly what we expected. The restaurant is located in downtown Atlanta in the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. The restaurant is decorated in, what I call, classic luxury — dark wood walls and columns, dim lighting with candles and lamps at some tables. According to this amateur wine drinker, they seemed to have a large selection of types and brands of wine. Every single item that we ordered was beyond delicious! I ordered the bone-in filet mignon, which was perfectly cooked and provided an explosion of flavor! For our sides we split the whipped potatoes, crispy hen of the woods mushroom, and Cotswold mac and cheese. As I stated before, everything tasted fantastic, but OMG the mushrooms were phenomenal!!! I would recommend this item to everyone who chooses to eat at Atlanta Grill. For dessert, I ordered my most favorite item — crème brulee — at this point, I don’t need to tell you as you probably guessed by now… it was also fantastic. I would, without a doubt, come back to Atlanta Grill. Everyone needs to eat here when they visit«The Capitol of the South.» YUM!

Not sure how people in the south like their oatmeal, but was underwhelmed with its offering. Luke warm, over cooked, mushy, without any decent texture options like chopped nuts(only comes with brown sugar and rasins). Which is disappointing because yesterday the salmon salad I had was delicious, guess I’ll have to find healthy breakfast options while in town elsewhere.

We decided to have breakfast here on our last morning in Atlanta. We had a late start to our morning so we didn’t get to the restaurant till 11A. We needed to be out of there by 12 cause we had to catch our fight at 3. So apparently they stop serving food between 11:00A to 11:30A to switch from breakfast to lunch. They had given us the lunch menu even though we really wanted breakfast. So at about 11:15 the manager came and said we could still order breakfast or we would have to wait till 11:30 to put our lunch order in. So we ordered the eggs n potatoes, an order of Pecan Waffles and fresh berries in a light cream. And our breakfast was delicious. Everything was on point. I usually only get my cheesy eggs in the south. There just so much better there. The berries were definitely fresh and so nice and refreshing. The restaurant is located inside the Ritz-Carlton. If it wasn’t so cold it would have been really nice to sit in the patio area. But since it was freezing we got a table by the window but didn’t have much of a view. The manager was very nice and very accommodating. Very well worth the price. And such gorgeous décor.

Came for brunch. Oh my it’s pricey! It’s like you’re eating at a Ritz-Carlton! Oh. Wait. You are. Ah. But while expensive, their brunch buffet looked very good. I actually went for corn pancakes and found them very good. Service was excellent and the coffee — and I’m a coffee snob — was just fine. It’s a bit of a splurge, and it is overpriced, but at least I walked away feeling like I got a good meal.

Solid steakhouse on the second level of the Ritz Carlton. There’s a nice masculine feel of classic meat palace wood décor without feeling too heavy. The colorful art installations add to the appeal. There’s a long bar where you can slip in to grab a meal on the spur of the moment. I had the scallop appetizer – the scallops were perfectly cooked and caramelized but the accompanying cauliflower, bacon, and leek sauce was too salty overall. The NY Strip(pretty reasonably priced at $ 38 considering the location) was a success, with a perfect cut of beef simply grilled exactly to temperature. The side of roasted Brussels sprouts with the maple-bourbon glaze was delicious, though the sprouts on the very bottom of the dish got a touch too soggy when the glaze settled. Overall, this is a fine choice in an elegant but comfortable and approachable environment.

I was skeptical of the other poor reviews as they seemed to lack context or focused on attitude, etc… I’m in a service industry so I usually err on the side of value being the most important aspect of judging product. I frequently cluck about clients or travelers who have champagne taste on a beer budget. This time, I’m the mad critic. Two night guest at Ritz. Room service breakfast and service was a 90. As good as other RC’s. After long day, biz partner and I decided to eat in the hotel before turning in for a long drive the next day. I wandered into the packed restaurant in Friday night. I was not greeted. I wandered out to the veranda and found my partner. We had to ask for a cocktail menu. Took several minutes and no offer for another drink. When we finally ordered, the drinks took no less than 30 minutes to come from the bar. JD single barrel on rocks was half low ball with 50% melted ice and watered down. Waiter must have let it sit for at least 20 minutes. Partner asked for recommendation on dinner and got ambivalent response — bizarre Shrimp cocktail — ice cold and good. 90%. Cocktail sauce was mysterious and terrible. 10% I had petit filet 6 oz. cooked well. Seasoned well. Served on plate alone, no garnish with 2″ marrow bone piece. Brussel sprouts came in mini croc broiled and crispy — good — interesting. Collards where worse than the Old Country Buffet. Slimy, too salty, no pork. 99⁄100BBQ shacks would have better greens. Partner order peach cobbler — we are in GA right? I’m still shocked and not sure that we were not part of a sociological experiment… It was horrendous. We each tried a spoon and almost choked. Imagine a crème brûlée dish with some canned peaches with a cup of sugar and granola sprinkled on top then tossed in a microwave. To top things off, as I don’t expect a word class restaurant to be in every Ritz, our waiter was so horrible that it led to a dinner conversation about what’s wrong with American workers today. He was less attentive and polite than the 17 year old kid at Chic-Fil-a off I-85. He stared away when talking. He was helped by 3 other folks and still could serve our table. He had no personality. This restaurant was grossly understaffed for a Friday night. The hotel was sold out and needed at least 10 more employees in the restaurant. If you stay at this RC, enjoy your breakfast by room service and find somewhere else to eat lunch and dinner.

Came here for lunch with some of my coworkers and it was decent. My coworkers said that their food was good but I was not impressed at all by the burger that I ordered. I asked for it to be cooked medium plus however it was prepared well done and the flavors just weren’t there. The fries were very good. The lunch menu was very limited but the service was great. I wouldn’t return for lunch.

.goodness!!! The seating is great! On a nice summer evening, with a breeze it is wonderful. The breadbasket with cornbread etc??? Amazing. I could eat just that! But the topper!!! I went and ordered the shrimp and grits!!! Who said I could do that? Who allowed me to order such an amazing dish. Truth be told, it almost ended my marriage, i.e., I almost ran off into the sunset with this dish. Truly amazing. well worth it.

There’s nothing particularly impressive about the food here, especially given that it is in the Ritz Carlton. The meal begins with a bread basket with excellent biscuits and corn bread. We tried three appetizers, charred octopus, fried green tomatoes and shrimp cocktail. All were fine. The bone in «prime» striploin I had as an entrée was truly the toughest piece of meat I’ve ever been served, literally uncuttable with a steak knife. Side dishes were grilled asparagus(nothing special) and caramelized Brussels sprouts(the highlight of the meal). The inedible steak was promptly removed from the bill, which was representative of the overall excellent service we received. This was particularly true of Brian, the sommelier, who is extremely knowledgeable. The winless is fairly broad, although pricing is high and inconsistent, with some wines prices at up to four times retail. The outdoor balcony offers a pleasant if noisy view of Peachtree.

My boss and I decided to just walk around to find dinner and we decided on Atlanta Grill. You have to enter from the Ritz Carlton hotel entry and then walk upstairs to the entryway. Service was pretty good. They took the time to find out your name so they could have the staff all address you by name. Although, some staff could probably use a class in assumptions, because too many times I was addressed as my boss’s…extremely young wife… daughter? In any case, I didn’t mention it because it wasn’t a big deal at the time, but please, two Asians walking in together are not necessarily related. Started with their complimentary bread… so yummy! especially the chive biscuit. I could eat those all day. There are limited menu items so I ended up going with the steak tartare with a side of giant baked potato and it was GIANT! Steak tartare was mustary but pleasant. Couldn’t finish the potato. Total came out to about $ 80 after tax and tip. Kind of expensive, but portions are just right. Wouldn’t mind coming back for a nice dinner for the ambiance.
