I didn’t take up running until I was in my forties, and after a lumbar fusion. Low back pain and referred pain were normal to me. More recently I had been dealing with chronic hip pain for almost two years for which I had received PT and the suggestion that I see another back surgeon. To me the pain wasn’t that bad and I was dealing with it fine. I was in no hurry to go under the knife again. Just push through. Just suck it up and deal with it until I couldn’t stand it anymore.
And then fast forward to a chance meeting with Dr. Frank Marcone…
I must admit I’ve always feared chiropractors. I wasn’t sure what they could do for me. In the midst of training for the Disney Dopey Challenge (four consecutive days of running – 5K Thursday, 10K Friday, half marathon Saturday, full marathon Sunday) I figured I would give it a try. To my amazement, Dr. Frank worked wonders. I not only am free of the chronic hip pain that plagued me for so long, but I feel better, stronger, and more energetic. I expected to be down for weeks after completing the challenge. I expected that the drain on my body would lower my immune system and I would succumb to a cold afterwards. Nothing of the sort and less than a week later I was back out pounding the pavement and training for my next races (yes, plural) with no pain feeling as strong and healthy as ever.
My only regret is not trying chiropractic care sooner. Perhaps I might have avoided the previous surgery. And did I mention that Dr. Frank is «good people?»

I’ve been going to Dr. Frank Marcone since I met him at a tennis tournament last year where he had a booth set up. I’ve had back problems for more than 15 years and the past year has been the best of all of those. Any yes, that is because of Dr. Marcone! Not only am I am to enjoy all the athletic activities that I love without back pain, but I haven’t been sick in over a year, since I started seeing him.

I have suffered from headaches, neck pain, and back pain for years. I grind my teeth at night and it was taking a toll on me. I went to every doctor I could think of– my physician, dentist, oral surgeon, physical therapist, and neurologist. No one was able to solve the actual problem. Most doctors just put a temporary ‘bandaid’ on it, but I was still miserable, in a lot of pain, and frustrated. I finally went to Dr. Marcone on Piedmont Ave. In a matter of 2 or 3 months, I felt a world of difference. My headaches went from one or two (usually migraines) a day to maybe one minor headache every couple of weeks. The tension and pain I held in my jaw, neck, and back decreased by at least 90%. I have more energy and have gone off all of my daily medications that I used to take. I would highly recommend going to see Dr. Marcone if you have any similar issues. It has honestly changed my daily life in such a positive way!

After months of stomach pain, 2 emergency room visits, multiple MD visits, 3 months of the purple pill, I am amazed that after my first visit with Dr. Frank, I felt some relief. Now after about 4 weeks of visits, I am off the purple pill and off my allergy meds!!! Yay!

After years of back pain with no relief, and having given up on chiropractors, a coworker recommended that I see Dr. Marcone.
Although skeptical at first, his approach to chiropractics and sincere dedication to the wellness of his patients will put you at ease on the first visit.
After treatment and regular adjustments I am finally able enjoy living pain free with neck and back flexibility that I didn’t think was possible.
Dr. Marcone is an outstanding and will restore your faith in the field of chiropractics. I cannot give high enough praise for his care and professionalism.

I have been seeing Dr. Frank Marcone for nearly a year and I can honestly say I have never felt better. His technique was not what I was used to from other chiropractors but it really works. I am not in pain, am sleeping well and have not been sick once since January (a first for me!). After my car accident, he also provided intensive therapies that provided pain relief and peace of mind. I would recommend him highly to anyone looking for a good chiropractor in midtown.
