Belle de Jour Salon

After researching different salons based on their reviews, I decided I would give Belle de Jour salon try. Time had come to move on from the large upscale salon that I was a client of for 15 years.
The staff at Belle du Jour couldn’t be sweeter. They make you feel very welcome. The salon itself is clean and attractive. I felt immediately comfortable.
Unfortunately, my experience was not what I expected based on the glowing reviews.
The reason for my visit to the salon was to get base color and high and low lights for my colored blonde hair, and get a haircut. I expressed taking an inch off my hair.
My haircut felt incomplete and too quick. I only got an inch of the bottom of my hair. The rest got a quick trim. My hair does not lay as well as I like. Second, I had to ask for a towel to wipe the wet hair color off and out both of my ears. The color application should never come close to ears. This is my experience at least. Finally, I discovered the day after my service that the roots in back of my head were never colored.
Like I said, I really like the staff and atmosphere at Belle du Jour. I just wish my experience had been different.

I went to see Brandin for a highlight and lowlight and she did not disappoint! The staff were all very friendly and the salon was clean. Will be back!

Beautiful, clean, and efficient salon. Colleen did my full highlights (and corrected a previous color I wasn’t happy with) and got it perfect, gave me exactly what I wanted (and I’m generally not easy to please). I feel gorgeous now :-) Christina gave me a great blow out too. I highly recommend this salon. I’ll definitely be back!

How can I easily convey this: I love this place! I almost don’t want to review it because I don’t want it to get super busy! So convenient to everything; I live in Decatur and it takes me less than 20 min to get there during non-​rush hour. The atmosphere is so cozy and relaxing, none of the pretension typical to some Buckhead salons. All kinds of different people frequent this salon. Online scheduling is soooo easy and fast. There are several different levels for stylists, so you will find a great stylist within your price range with no problem. I had tried over 10 salons in the metro area before I found this place. I love them so much:)

So pleased with the service I received! It’s a cute little salon with friendly staff. Will definitely return. Did a great job on my base break color — even happier that I found someone in Atlanta who does this color service.

Great salon, great colorist. I have been going there for several years and have NEVER left disappointed. Go ahead and make the appointment… no need to shop any further for an excellent salon.

I accidentally came across this fabulous salon, as they donated an experience to a Gala that I was hosting. So I decided to try it out. Andrea, the owner, was just as sweet and down-​to-​earth as you would want to work with. I started using Andrea… she just got me, and understood my hair (ladies, you know what I am talking about;)! The atmosphere in the Salon is warm and relaxing, no hustle and bustle — water and coffee available… all I need is a glass of wine and all is right with the world. Andrea knows all of the customers, even those who go to her other stylists. No one is pushy about buying products, but products are available for your purchase.
Now MY schedule did not work out with Andrea’s over time. But she was kind enough to refer me to another stylist. And I have truly been happy over her choice for me.

The best color that I have ever received! I got so many compliments on my hair. Andrea and her team really know what they’re doing.

Belle de Jour Salon is a gem tucked away in a small shopping center off Roswell Road inside the perimeter. The owner, Andrea, is a perfectionist who hires only the best stylists/​colorists. She is a master colorist herself and does beautiful work that looks completely natural (of course, if you want a completely unnatural shade I’m sure she can do that too). They also give precision hair cuts and have a clientele ranging from teen to mid-​life, both male and female. I like the friendly atmosphere – they are very professional without being intimidating.
They do take walk-​ins but of course the more in-​demand stylists require appointments.
