Most of the event spaces in Atlanta proper are either a) so blah in personality or b) sooo expensive. At least, that’s what I found on my hunt for the perfect place to host our wedding reception. That is, until I took a tour of Blue Mark Studios. First of all, this is in a stellar location if you care about your guests having easy access to the venue without having to pay exorbitant prices for parking. There is free street parking aplenty just outside the studio and it’s on a quiet street where you don’t have to worry about any traffic or criminal activity finding its way to your event. Inside of Blue Mark is so cool. The sanctuary(upstairs) is quite spacious — enough room for a dance floor and tables and chairs. Plus, you get great natural light if you’re having a daytime event like we did. Downstairs in the art gallery is unique. Your guests will love the option of getting away from the party to check out what’s hanging on the walls(the exhibits change all the time). And Blue Mark was priced so competitively that we couldn’t resist having our event here. Plus, Bryan was great to work with. He was open and honest about all the charges and flexible when we had to change our start time in order to let the band in early. The only regret we have was renting the facility’s projector, which didn’t really show our slideshow on the wall well because it was daytime. But, that was just a poor decision on our parts(just remember that your photos/videos probably won’t be seen if it’s a day event). Overall, if you want a cool space that people will remember years after the event is over and won’t leave you in debt, go with Blue Mark Studios. I can’t wait to have an excuse to go back there!

Very pleased with the venue. We used it for an Art Gallery event, and it met all our expectations. Was a good price and has lots of free parking along the street, a great open area upstairs, and a nice long room downstairs. Very comfortably fit 150 people, and could have fit more. Bryan(the person managing the property) was very friendly and went out of his way to help us plan how to best use the space; and during the event to ensure things went smoothly. I will definitely keep Blue Mark Studios in mind as a great place to do larger events.

I recently attended an event at Blue Mark Studios last month. I must say this place is pretty incredible if you are looking to host an event in the future. The staff was great and will work with you one on one to make your event happen. Jen who is one of the owners of the Studio was very helpful and great from the beginning to the end. I highly recommend this as a space to rent out for your next event. Great place to be.

Besides being located nexted to the Fulton county jail and Atlanta Food Bank, the church is a charming location. Just don’t leave any valuables in your car(or take a cab). We bought the groupon($ 30 for a three course dinner and show) — I would not recommend going if you don’t pay half price. The three course dinner consisted of some kind of ranch salad, rubbery inedible chicken with pasta that probably came from a lean cuisine carton, and a slice of cake(which was actually the best part, even though I think it came from the food bank). The drink selections include Rum and coke, vodka and soda, red wine, and white wine. Also, BEWARE — we were charged automatic gratuity on the $ 60 normal ticket that we didn’t purchase, as well as gratuity on all of our drinks. So, our gratuity almost ended up being as much as the drink bill. However, the actors were fun and engaging, and I did manage to get drunk enough to thoroughly enjoy the show.

We’ve been to a number of events at Blue Mark and have had a great time at each one. Last night we attended a Couple and a Canvas. I was pretty nervous because I have no artistic ability at all! There were artists on hand to help us through everything, while at the same time allowing us to do what we wanted. It was fun and interesting and I would highly recommend it — artist or not. In addition we were able to meet new people and enjoy good food. The unique venue is one thing but add to it the creative activites that go on here and you can’t lose!

It was a nice and elegant spot. I went for a murder mystery dinner. Im not really sure what I was expecting. It was interesting that they had a unisex bathroom…

Great venue offering so many things! I’ve attended Booty Shakin’ Bingo, their Blue Market(artist market) as a customer and a vendor, an art opening, and I’m signed up for a couponing class as well as have tickets for an upcoming Murder Mystery dinner theatre event. The venue is so different because it was a church previously… it has a special artistic vibe and charm about it! I highly recommend checking out their calendar of events as well as booking it for your own event!

I had my wedding at Blue Mark Studios and it was fantastic. Bryan and Jennifer helped in every way possible from the moment that I was interested in the place, and they both a did a fantastix job on the day of the wedding. Everyone loved the venue and told us it was so unique and that it represented the best things about us as a couple and about Atlanta– a beautiful mix of modern and traditional. I would recommend the Blue Mark Studios for any event.
