Calico

So disappointed in Calico Corners! They came, they measured, they took my money and I still don’t have the drapes I ordered in May!
One excuse after another, zero communication.
I just learned it will be at least another two weeks, because they had to order trim from, oh no, NYC!
And, the only reason I learned this is because I called them! They were supposed to install this week.

I have used Calico Corners in the past for window treatments, pillows, and upholstery and their work was stunningly beautiful. They were expensive but good. They used to be very responsive to the customer. Something has changed. This time I ordered custom window treatments, bedding, pillows and upholstery. The installation was not satisfactory and the window treatments were not as designed. They have been VERY slow in responding. They promise to call me back within a week, but never do. They are nice enough when we talk, but they keep putting off when they are going to actually fix the problems. Delay, delay, delay. «We have to order the fabric. We will call you». «The workroom had power outages, we will call you». «We don’t know when we will be able to get out there, we will call you». I wait 7+ days, and after no call, I call them. More delays. They know I am unhappy, but don’t really seem to care. I may not be their largest customer, I’ve spent about $ 7500 in the past and $ 5000 this time, but I’m starting to think I could have gotten better responsiveness and nicer attitudes elsewhere. Will not use them again.
