Horrible service. Got there and waited 10 minutes. After we were seated, we sat there for 10 minutes and decides to leave

Yep just walked in here not that long ago. After waiting 3 mins(when there’s probably 7 tables of people) for someone to seat us or even be acknowledged we left and went to Felini’s. I would recommend just going to Felini’s.

Unilocal’s two-star«Meh. I’ve experienced better.» sums up my experience with this Chili’s best. It’s been around for as long as I can remember, which is at least 15 years. I stopped by here with a friend for dinner, on a Saturday evening, and it was very busy. Long live the reliable American restaurant chain. Like other chains(e.g. Applebee’s, Ruby Tuesday, T.G.I. Friday’s), Chili’s has an extensive menu which includes soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, steaks, ribs, pizzas, fajitas, quesadillas, chicken, seafood, and more. It’s a whole mish-mash of food. We decided to go for the«$ 20 Dinner for Two,» which limited our options and made the decision process easier. The $ 20 Dinner for Two includes a choice of one appetizer and two entrees from a predetermined list. There are about a half dozen apps and over a dozen entrees to choose from. Drinks aren’t included. I checked out the prices of the individual apps and entrees offered as part of the deal. It turns out you can save a bit of money if you take advantage of the deal as opposed to ordering each item separately. For example, we got the Tostada Chips & Salsa($ 3.09), Half Rack of Baby Back Ribs($ 10.19), and Grilled Chicken Fajitas($ 11.89). Ordered together individually, these would cost $ 25.17 total. One Abe Lincoln saved. The meal itself was just alright. The chips and salsa were unlimited, which was nice, except the chips weren’t very good. They seemed hard and almost stale, which was surprising since the chips here are supposed to be made fresh daily. That was too bad because the salsa seemed decent. The entrees fared better. I had the half rack of ribs with BBQ sauce(Memphis dry rub available too). They came with a side of fries. The ribs tasted OK, though the sauce seemed too salty. The meat was tender enough. The best ribs I’ve had from a chain still come from Ruby Tuesday. The fajitas weren’t bad, but felt formulaic. The chicken was served sizzling with sliced bell pepper, onion, and cilantro. I liked the garlic butter they used on the meat. A plate of shredded lettuce, cheese, pico de gallo, guacamole, and sour cream was served with, and soft flour tortillas(in lieu of corn, which is an option) for the shell. Generally, the ingredients were fresh and the entrée was filling. Service was A-OK.

Called multiple times to try and place to go order. Waited in excess of five minutes and could never get through to anyone.

Can I give zero stars? I want to curse so bad but I’ll be nice. It’s Sunday and we got here right at noon and it wasn’t busy at all. It took them 10 mins to get our drinks order. At this point, we had already decided on what we wanted. We ordered chips and spinach queso as appetizer. That took 20 mins to come out. The cheese had hardened which means it sat in the back for while. The steak was dry and broccoli was bland. The chicken in our chicken sandwiches had NO taste. I topped it with ketchup just to be able o eat it. Oh and to make matters worse, their(tap) water was so nasty. I ordered a sprite because the water was that bad. WTH! This is the nastiest Chili’s!

If it was an option to give zero stars, I would have. This location is so poorly managed that it’s nearly impossible to get waited on. Let alone served. It’s CONSISTENTLY bad… Really bad. Save yourself a headache and drive right past this location.

«Oh my God let’s go to Chili’s!» said no one ever. I’m not even sure why I’m even writing a review for this place. First of all, we didn’t come here by choice – the Taco Mac next door had a 2-hour wait because of the NBA Finals. The first thing you’ll notice is how bad the layout is, especially if you’re trying to watch sports. After shuffling around for about ten minutes trying to find a decent spot, we settled on a booth next to the bar area. The tables have little tablets that you could use to check out food, drinks, and pay your bills. However, I thought they were distracting. They’re tacky and all they do is get in the way of your arm space. The food was mediocre albeit we just ordered the loaded nachos. Still, the dish came with about 10 nacho chips with cheese and beans on top. Really? Come on man. Also don’t expect phenomenal service. So unless you have a Chili’s gift card or are in some sort of desperate situation, please do yourself a favor and stay away.

Waited 20 minutes for a table, another 20 for my order to be taken then over an hour for my meal. The worst service ever and the presentation of the food was horrible. Obvious that the meals had sat in the kitchen quite awhile before being delivered. The manager was overwhelmed. I’ll never eat there again.

We seldom go to Chili’s and when we do, it’s mostly for desserts /wine. I’ve found the staff quite pleasant, though occasionally slow. I’m not sure if the wait staff are required to take more tables now that the computers are at the table(which made things convenient, though I’m not in love with the way it takes away a personal touch). We tried to go 2 weeks ago because we were hungry for some entrée salads and thought they would be the most likely restaurant in the area to have them. We stood at the entrance for several minutes(we didn’t time it, but it was awhile) and didn’t see a single staff person. We counted 8 unbussed tables. Finally, a staff person walked right by us and didn’t even seem to see us. We took it as a sign that something must have been going on, like a staff meeting or something, and we left. I know that we were there at a time when many of the lunch staff would have been cut from taking further tables, Still, to not see a single person and to see so many tables with dishes and debris was unusual. I think they’re understaffed; they seem to only use one side of the dining room area. Not sure if they need more cooks or more wait staff, but Chili’s is a decent chain and I want them to do well!

I’ll admit, I love Chili’s, I have since I could talk when I was a baby, but every single location near me has the same, sorry problem… The service SUCKS. I’ve waited for forever to be seated when the place is almost empty, with a waitress yelling from across a bar asking if I was waiting to eat. Uh nah lady, I just came in to wander around. Always slow. Never quite clean. If you urgently need your server, they’re likely all hanging out at the computer station right outside the bathroom, usually with a supervisor with them. The only thing that makes this location better than the epic fail of the Lindbergh location is that at least this one serves the food hot.

Not what it used to be since Dante Pecora(the previous GM) left. The restaurant now is a shadow of its former self. The Service SUCKS. If you like terrible service come here. We stopped in Chili’s this afternoon and the Service was NONEXISTENT. It took forever just to get someone to take our order. The lady that finally did wait on us didn’t like it when we didn’t have a big drink order. And she liked it even less when we didn’t order a bunch of Appetizers and then a meal for every person in our party. After we ordered we waited for a while just to get the drinks then waited and waited and waited some more to get the food… After the food came the Triple Dipper & the Cheese Dip with Chips were both very good but the fish entrée(Tilapia) was BAD. Like make you sick BAD. The lady that took our order never did come back and ask how our meal was! She just disappeared into thin air. Speaking of crappy service! After what seemed like forever she reappeared and I called her over to the table and told her about the fish. She did offer to replace it but we’d been there so long already we didn’t want to wait forever again to get a replacement entrée. So we had to wait again for a «manager» to come to explain the problem and to take the Tilapia off our Bill. The Manager did come after a few more minutes and did agree to take the fish off the bill. By this point we just wanted to LEAVE. We finally figured out how to pay with the small computer thing at the table & then LEFT. Bottom line, eating at Chili’s today was an ORDEAL. Next time,(IF there is a next time!) we’ll order the food TOGO.

I’m surprised by all the negative reviews. They do a ton of business, which does lower the efficiency and quality of the service, but I always liked the food here. You can put me down for a chicken fajita and a molten chocolate cake melt any day!

I have been to this location about two or three times in the last couple of months; mainly due to nearby Longhorn burning down and never re-opening as promised. And due to glaring service issues at Outback next door. First of all the burgers here are pretty damn decent. Almost /nearly as good as non chain pubs in the area. I have not experienced the service issues here others have complained about. I love the interactive tablets on the tables here. You can play trivia games(they charge a .99 fee — so be careful with those); and you can pay your bill with a credit /debit card(rather than depend on your server for that). Some things can escalate your bill here, so be mindful or those things. Tea is $ 2.50 and, as I mentioned before, games on the table tablet are almost $ 1 a pop. Bottom Line: The menu is fairly pretty hit and miss; however, the burgers are a pretty solid option(considering this place is a corporate sanitized chain). Another plus(for me personally) is that it is very close to my mom’s house and she is always down with going here. Perhaps this place can be rated 3.5 stars, but less than four.

Chili’s isn’t the place I’m ever jonesin’ to go to… ever, really. However, when thou hast a gift card, thou shall venture to Chili’s. Right? We came for dinner on a Friday and it was pretty hoppin’. Looks like Chili’s is still doing the same things they do well. Of which, I’m not sure I enjoy anymore. The biggest thing that I can’t understand is why they have decided to add these small tablet kiosks to each table. You can order drinks and some other items, pay your bill, and… games? It’s like the back of the headrest on an airplane. Really? Here’s the other kicker — You still have to order your food from your server. There’s some really weird disconnect with these things and I can’t say I’m for it. Though paying for our meal and taking off when we were finished was nice, it still seems completely unnecessary. The food? Well, no one should be expecting some sort of gastronomic enlightenment. I decided to order the buffalo chicken salad. Seems pretty standard, yeah? Well, somehow, the entire salad only tasted like the carrots included in the mix. Not sure if they store the salad mix together, but the flavor was horrible. I asked for a side of extra buffalo sauce and the sauce itself was bland and hardly had any of the notes or flavor profile of actual buffalo sauce. Just a hugely disappointing salad. Service was awful as well. Inconsistent, nowhere to be found, and hardly any rhyme or reason to who was in charge of what. A mess… I think a lot of it points back to those weird tablets at each table. Gift card or not, I don’t plan to return.

Service was quick but dissatisfied with how the server just automatically thought I wanted to pay via the kiosk. She pushed the kiosk real hard but when I had a question about using a coupon for a free appetizer she was unsure if how to apply it with the kiosk. At the end of the meal she ended up bringing me the receipt. That’s an idea! Your hostess bringing you your receipt. Hey Chilis it is something called basic math. I looked at my bill and then looked at the gratuity. The first thing I realized was that the gratuity was all wrong just from looking at it on a quick scan. The total of 15% gratuity for $ 40.78 is $ 6.12 and 18% gratuity for $ 40.78 is $ 7.34. Not sure if they just used the total of the tip before they removed an appetizer or they thought they could slide one pass me. I vote for the latter. I know that Chilis is not a five star restaurant but it is sad when figuring out simple math is becoming a challenge. Overall the food was decent and typical Chili’s food. The server was good so I give her props on that. The server deserved a tip especially as I was leaving a woman came in asking for a sample of some of their dishes because she was unsure of ordering items she never tried. WTF! If you want free samples take yourself and your kids to Sams.

Stopped by here last night and was really disappointed by how much they expected me to do on my own via the little kiosk/terminals on the table. I get the concept they are after, but I go to a full service restaurant because I want to feel like someone is taking care of me. If I just want to look at a monitor and have food dropped off I can stay at home and order delivery from the Internet. I want that customer service and interaction. Pushing the responsibility on me to handle my order is just silly. Beyond that, service was slow and and food was brought out lukewarm. If this is the new Chili’s I think I will pass.

Needs a serious cleaning! The floor was sticky(the manager told me that it was Sprite). The table was also sticky. When they finally seated me in another table, I saw a long, curly HAIR stuck to the wall. Nauseous, I couldn’t help thinking how filthy their kitchen would be if the sitting area was this bad. The bathroom also had sticky floors, sink was dirty, and soap dispensers didn’t work. I cancelled my order and walked out. Yuck! Two stars instead of one because the manager understood why I wanted to cancel my order and leave!

This place is TOPNOTCHGARBAGE. Explain to me how you spend 40 minutes getting my food to me and it’s lukecold. The ONLY thing this place can do well is bring you beer. Besides that, DON’T bother. You’re better off going to the sushi place behind it. Even the worker’s know it sucks. Beyond lifeless. Management, YOUFAILED. Call Gordon Ramsay immediately.

We brought in takeout from here. So I really liked being able to link right from Unilocal to the menu and having the opportunity to order only and customize my selection. Now, the negative side… I was already to pay online and it said«we are sorry but this restaurant does not accept online orders.» Well, that sucked! I called the restaurant and did speak to a really nice host who took my complicated order(no salt on this, dry bun for that, Etc). He was great. He read my order back to me. I even told him about my frustration with the online ordering and he apologized on behalf of the restaurant and was going to notify he manager about the issue. Our food was ready when they said it would be. They wrapped the cold condiments for the burger on the side so it did not get hot. The salad was crisp and yummy. The burger was cooked perfectly and the chicken sandwich was flavorful. The side of corn was big. The only food negativity would be the skimpy about of fried that I received. Overall, the food was good, service was good, and the new menu looks like nice.
