Solid indian food. A bit overpriced for what you get, but good. Don’t get any dishes too spicy, because your butt will never forgive you.

Like many reviews before: best Indian food in Buckhead, very friendly owners and staff. My family has ordered carry out at least twice a month for the past two years and has never been disappointed.

Don’t go with good Unilocal review. Visiting Atlanta and ordered food from this place because of good Unilocal review and ordered one dal makhani and one paneer and two roti. First they charged me $ 10 instead of $ 5 for delivery which was not told to me over the phone. Regardless of the money the food was pathetic. Worst food I have had in USA from past 18 years of living in various cities of USA. Called the restaurant and they said sorry we are closed and thank you for the feedback. I don’t think the food was even one star. Anyhow, personal being an Indian this was the worst Indian food of my lifetime!

The food is great! It was so hard to find a good Indian restaurant in Buckhead until I found this place. I come here all the time. The owners always make sure they have great service!

Great place to eat if you’re in the mood for Indian food. The service was fantastic. Very attentive and friendly hosts. The food was delicious. I ordered lamb kebabs and my boyfriend ordered grilled maachli which was a fish curry dish. Both were delicious and made to order. They catered to different palates. I made my dish medium spicy and my boyfriends dish was mild. I also ordered the garlic Naan which was very flavorful and the yogurt sauce to go with my lamb kebabs. I will definitely be going back!

This place is great and very underrated. The chicken tikka masala is incredible, the samosas and pakoras as well. Raj is a really good server.

This is the best indian cuisine I’ve had in the USA. So delicious and fresh. The atmosphere was charming, the presentation, the service, the flavor, were all superlative! They make everything to order so you can customize it all. We had the chicken tikka masala and the chicken curry with the paratha. You won’t be disappointed.

This place leaves a lot to be desired. Buffet tasted dry and not fresh. They took forever to pick up our dirty plates. The bathrooms were dirty and gross like a gas station and didn’t even have hand towels. Not going back.

I went to Copper Cove for the lunch buffet. It was a nice hidden restaurant in the middle of Buckhead. I felt bad for the owner who was getting things ready and I was the only person in the entire restaurant for my whole meal because the place was really good. It doesn’t quite get 5 stars but I will definitely come in for dinner and get a better sampling of their cuisine than lunch fare. So the lunch buffet wasn’t very elaborate. It’s fairly small and I was a little disappointed by the fact there was only two types of chicken for meat and the rest were all kind of similarly situated vegetables. Tandoori chicken and the curry chicken by themselves would be good but didn’t add to much in terms of diversity of offerings. I almost didn’t see the rice pudding in the buffet because it was hidden with the savory sauces… and I am glad that I did. I ate practically all of it. By myself. So good.

I have been craving some indian food for quite some time and looking for a good place to go. Went to Naanstop for lunch, so NOT impressed and very dissapointed. Decided to go to dinner at Copper Cove last week –BEST Indian cuisine I’ve had in a very long time. I had the garlic naan and special ghata for dinner and ordered the galouti kebab to go to have a full leftover meal. Everything was soo delish. It was farely empty, so just one waiter, but he was very nice, attentive and my food came in good time. I would definitely recommend. P.S — The restaurant itself isn’t the most luxurious, but it’s clean and food and service are/were most important to me.

Bland food, ok service and high prices. Not sure how this place is four and a half stars. Guessing the reviews are coming from folks who don’t eat a lot of Indian food. There are much better Indian restaurants in Atlanta.

I so wanted to like this place, but it was, overall, a disappointment. The service was friendly but very slow — there were only a handful of diners when I first arrived but as more people arrived(on a Friday night), the few servers quickly lost control. I, as well as others, had to keep asking the poor kid filling the water glasses for things, as he was the only one coming to the tables frequently enough. Onto other topics — I was offered a wine list by the bottle, but when I asked what they had by the glass, the answer did not include anything more than«Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio», etc. Who knows if it was from a box or bottle or what. I was also asked what level of spice I wanted in my food and I asked for medium. When it arrived(chicken tikka masala, saag paneer) it was bland. Not terrible, but not what I was expecting. The garlic naan was tasty but a little cold by the time it arrived. With some improvements, this could be a good Indian option but I doubt I’ll go back anytime soon.

We got takeout(Chicken Tikka Masala which is their specialty and Karahi Paneer) from here and food was good, but not excellent. Being an Indian I have had tons of Indian food around Atlanta and could say this was not the best I’ve had but not bad either. The flavors were good but nothing I would crave for over and over again. Also it was more expensive then other places but that’s to be expected with the location. The staff was friendly and the naan was authentic. However, would not be returning.

I would give this a 3.5. I actually wasn’t sure how to rate this because I’m not a connoisseur of Indian cuisine as my babe is. I thought the food was good, but I particularly enjoyed 1) my company 2) the server. I hadn’t seen my bf in what seemed like an eternity, so I was extra happy to be there with him. What’s so great about our love is that it knows no boundaries. Garlic naan and onion heavy dishes couldn’t part our lips. The server was very friendly and concerned with our satisfaction. I really enjoyed his conversation Plus, the lollipops at the end were a good touch… nice, hard, and sweet, just like my boyfriend.

Copper Cove Indian Bistro is the best Indian restaurant in Georgia. Not only do they have their own parking lot(super valuable and uncommon in this area), the food is bangin’. I had the best sweet lassi that I’ve ever had in the USA here. I had the best chicken tikka masala that I’ve ever had in the states here. Their veggie pakora is a sleeper champion here. One doesn’t expect veggie pakora to be so damn good. I give this place my full support.

My date and I visited Copper Cove for the first time the other night looking for true, authentic Indian food and I don’t think I could have been more pleased. We were welcomed by the owner and treated as if we were guests in his home, not customers at his restaurant. The ambience was like that of most Indian restaurants: small, quiet, background music playing in the corner, dim lighting, which to me is fine, because I’m there for the food, not the paintings on the wall. We started with garlic naan, then decided to share the chicken tikka masala, the bahadur with lamb, and the shrimp purée(you MUST try the shrimp purée. And the bahadur). As expected, the naan came out within minutes, hot and fresh with two sauces(both amazing). I wouldn’t say we waited any longer than we should have waited for freshly cooked, quality and authentic food. The entrees came out within 15 minutes and our server, which happened to be the owner, ensured our water glasses were never less than half full. Some reviews said the quantity of food was too little for the price, and I couldn’t disagree more. The prices were average for Indian food and my date and I ended up leaving with our pants unbuttoned(figuratively speaking). The food was amazing, the portions were just right, and the service was extraordinary. I will certainly be making the 40 minute drive back to Copper Cove again.

Had a very good experience at the copper cove. It is a medium sized building in a side street in Buckhead. The inside is neat decorated and welcoming. We had seekh kebab(tandoori) and paneer & saag burjee along with garlic naan, lassi. The service and host were rounding it up to a good experience and a nice tasting dinner. Can recommend trying it out!

Wow!!! The food is fantastic! We were completely unfamiliar with Indian food in general. We had never had it but decided to give a new cuisine a shot. The people at Copper Cove were so welcoming! Our waiter was more than patient with us as he explained the menu and recommended a starter(chicken) and a few options for our meals. We got the tandoori shrimp(yum!) and spinach with chickpeas and rice. We enjoyed every bite! We all be back!

I think this is as close to real home cooked Indian food as you’re going to get in Buckhead. I’d heard this place was«rated» as one of the top Indian establishments in the city, and I can see why it received that distinction. The food was good. The lunch-buffet spread isn’t that large, and this works in the restaurant’s favor. They clearly do know their craft well, and it shows in what they serve. As I said in the first sentence, there were a couple of times when it very nearly seemed to me that I was eating a home cooked meal. I mean, sure, you’re going to find crowd pleasers on the menu like Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, vegetable curries, and various Vindaloo. But you’ll do yourself a favor if you try something new. Try the Jhinga Tandoori. Or the Murg Kashmiri. Plus, they have a full bar, and can mix you up a nice, fruity cocktail to accompany your sub-tropical meal. You won’t be disappointed. This restaurant is not a huge one. It’s a medium sized affair, owned and operated by someone who seems to just want to make good food. If Buckhead can have a hole-in-the-wall, this may be one. And service for our lunch buffet experience was quiet and unobtrusive. We had a good time. I’ll happily return to this place. Holler if you’re coming with.
