I stopped here to eat during a long layover. The food was delicious and the staff was polite and kind. A lot of the food is prepared and displayed for you to see before you order. Some dishes are probably also made to orders. The next time I am in Atlanta I will definitely eat here again.

The waiters at this bar are extremely rude and talks to their customers in disrespectful ways. Don’t understand how the managers allow these people to be waiters and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

First off the service was great — I like when people are nice and friendly… And quick service! The pizza is sooo good — ok It was super good pizza. It had had green and black olives and green and red peppers and fresh basil.. Very good !!! You can also taste the freshness of the dough — this is a real homemade pizza. Everything was Very fresh tasting — and I’m a picky GIRL. I like the fact I can see them making my pizza right at the bar It was quick and the price was RIGHT. This is my new pizza spot. And the place is very clean too. Yesss finally a spot that knows what fresh pizza is suppose to be like. I loved it…

I really enjoyed the lamb gyro with fries. The bartender was really cool and the girl with me was super hot. Aside from the drunk lady sitting next to us, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I’m also glad that they’re open late.

Food poisoning!!! The food looked great. Ordered a salad from the deli bar, seared eggplant, and hummus. Food poisoning kicked in with in an hour. So sick for about 3 hrs. Atmosphere was cool but the tables were wobbly and some chair seat cushions were shot — when you sat down sank way in. Had to play musical chairs to find a good seat. This is not a place I would go back to.

Had a white pizza with Chicken from the brick oven. made right in front of me AND it’s the best pizza I have had since childhood in CHICAGO! Great vibes, food and a truly home type of treatment. Awesome. CHEERS!

My friend and I had tasty lamb gyros this Thursday night. The lamb was really flavorful with a hint of spice and tender. We also had a great time conversing with other customers and the bartender who was really friendly. I love the laid back feel of Dania’s in addition to the food and drinks. They also have a hookah lounge section decorated with pillows that looks really fun. One day I have to try their hookah, which I heard was also very good. I’ve never had a bad experience at this place in the three years that I’ve visited(and that was weekly two years ago when I worked down the street). Which is still true even with the change in management. During my working years, I always enjoyed their lunch items. They have a variety of freshly cooked meats(including seafood), grains/breads, veggies and fruits. And I swear this place is a vegetarian paradise! They have a variety of salads from classic salads to tabbouleh and really yummy pea soup with tortilla-like bread. There is usually a lot of sitting if you want to dine in. Parking might be frustrating during lunch and dinner hours but it’s a perfect commute for people working/schooling in the area. It’s also within walking distance from the Five Points MARTA station. Win win!

If you haven’t been here yet, get off your ass. Their pastas, kabobs and pizza are all absolutely incredible. Order any pizza and you won’t be disappointed. Order any pasta and you’ll be taking home leftovers. I generally am not a huge fan of downtown but I keep coming back because the food is that good. Do yourself a favor — whether a quick dinner downtown or here here for business, grab yourself a bite to eat here. Make sure Ramsey is working. Cheers.

Not a bad place. I like to go here if I don’t want to deal with a place to crowded but still nice and chill. Hookahs are solid and food is good. No complaints here

Dania’s saved the day while we were in town for a large conference. Even though they had planned to be closed, they graciously opened up so that our large party could have a place to eat. My soup was delicious and folks all enjoyed their pizzas and definitely large enough to share. From all the cleaned plates, it seemed that everyone else enjoyed their dinners also. Ramsey, our waiter, was extremely attentive making sure drinks stayed full while we waited for our food. Seems to be a family owned restaurant which I always love supporting vs the big chains out there when traveling. Highly recommend going there if looking for a unique experience while in downtown Atlanta. They even recommended another bar called Slice which was also a hit. Good peeps at Dania…

We were stuck for a restaurant that could accommodate a huge group on a Saturday night. Dania’s came through and made our group feel completely welcomed. The service was great, and while the brick-oven pizzas could have come out a little quicker, the waitstaff could not have been more attentive. I had the grilled lamb chops, and they were perfectly cooked and delicious. People were raving about the pizzas and the pasta as well. Definitely recommend!

We had a great time here! The bartender was the best. We came in off the street and had some margaritas and I had a Bloody Mary. Let me just say never have I ever seen anyone make the Bloody Mary mix right in front of me. It was sooo good and pretty! I’ll be back!

Came in after a hawks game and was recommended this place by a friend of mine. Was not at all disappointed! I had the spicy chicken alfredo and it really doesn’t compare to anything else. Sad to say but my mom could learn a thing or two from whoever makes this! Will be returning often!

Very delicious food, staff is extremely friendly. I felt like I’m in my house playing with my family. The owmer’s son Jonathan is adorable, very well mannered and cute; I wanted something good to remember Atlanta with, he definitely was that special person that made my day. I ordered the seafood pasta which was amazing, I loved it so much. Fresh and I can tell homemade. We had the best hummus in USA I think… I wish I lived here in Atlanta. We had fried calamari which I’m not big fan off but I loved theirs. Not too oily. We finished off our meal with a strawberry hookah … I’m very happy. wortg every penny I spent I definitely recommend This place to locals and visitors. I don’t know the city but a lot of the locals we asked recommended this place. love it love it love it

Still enjoy going to Dania’s. Since my last review I’ve been there for lunch as well as dinner. I like that lunch has hot and cold options and you can mix the two as well. Their spinach-feta salad is one of my favorite dishes. For the hot food, their chicken dishes are always great too. Dinner continues to be really good as well. Fantastic hummus. Sometimes the service seems a little chaotic at lunch and a little disorganized at dinner so have patience, but I think the food is worth it.

I generally go to Dania’s because it’s close to my job but I find the times I go in there is one employee(female) that is always inconsistent with the portions of food she gives or doesn’t always seem as friendly as the owner or the young man that works there. Overall, the food is decent, I just hate having that one particular employee serve me.

I’ve been to Dania’s Gourmet twice now. On the first visit, the food was excellent and the service was not so great. I decided to give it another try, though, because of the quality of the food on that first visit. Unfortunately, though, I really wish I hadn’t. This time the food and service were terrible. I stopped in there to place a small to-go order as I live just across the street. I tried to pay but the woman wouldn’t let me. I had to run another errand so I said I would be back to pick up the food in 10 minutes, when she had said it would be done. When I arrived back about 15 minutes later I was told that they hadn’t put my order in. That even though I said I would be back shortly, and I offered to pay for it, they thought I was leaving and cancelling my order. I went ahead and placed my order again and stayed to wait for it this time. I waited almost a half an hour for my caprese sandwich. I was not given a discount for their mistake and not even offered a drink during my long wait. Finally when I got home and was ready to eat I opened up the container and the food was a mess. It looked as though it had just been thrown into the container. It was also cold and completely soggy like it had been sitting around that whole time that I was waiting. With bad service on two out of two visits, I definitely won’t be trying them again.

This is one of those«borderline» score reviews… part of me says it really deserves a 2.5, but I don’t want to round down, so. .. 3 it is. Good gyro. NOT as good as Al’s(Café Agora) but solid. A little too much onion for my taste, but the meat was good and I loved their tatziki(sp?) sauce. Pasta salad(I got the pesto farfalle) was bland. Dad enjoyed the chicken salad — he got the 3-salad combo and shared some, and I agree that it was tasty. Mom got a Greek salad with grilled chicken added and loved it. Prices are reasonable — ie, if you get a couple salads(pick from the lettuce variety like the Greek or a Caesar, or the pasta variety, or the chicken or tuna salad kind) you’re in the $ 4 – 6 range. Add meat and it’s a little more, but I think my gyro with a side was still about $ 7.. . not too bad for lunch out these days. Note: they charge for soda refills($ 0.60), which I find mildly annoying as I know how cheap soda is for them to buy vs what is charged for it, but I digress… Super nice people — and this is a good place to go if you need to talk — business meeting or personal stuff, either way!- as their«side» area that doesn’t seem in operation during the day still has tables where you can take your food and nice employees will keep an eye out. I’m not in the downtown area all that often but this is a good place to go when I am.
