Nearly two years ago, I bought a sewing machine from this dealer. It had a small issue out of the box but, it was fixed free of charge(it did take a rather long time but, I believe they have contracted a new technician, who is significantly more efficient). I’ve continued to shop here for accessories and for the machine’s annual service(1 week turnaround). The employees and manager have all been pleasant and very helpful. One lovely lady, Linda I believe, even spent a bit of time with me showing me just how I could tweak my machine to get perfect buttonholes. The only slight downside, if you’re buying a Pfaff(possibly others) is there is no area competition so, there is no negotiation possible at time of purchase. But, the prices of the machines matched the national pricing and I’ve been very pleasantly surprised at the lack of markup on accessories, particularly feet. Overall, I’ve been very pleased with my machine and the service at this dealer.

Let’s see if they make good on my $ 119 service… Took my Pfaff in for routine service, including noisy bobbin case. It took over 2 weeks, and when I got it home the bobbin was still hanging up and in addition, the feed dogs wouldn’t raise/lower! Called them, they said the service«is under warranty» but that they can’t take it in for at least a week. ARGH! It cost $ 119, the tech is supposed to be Pfaff-certified, but right now I am so frustrated I could bite! But I’ll take it in next week and see what happens. By the way, the ladies who work there could not be nicer — I have no beef with them, just the technician/repair on my machine. Expensive, slow, and added a problem without fixing the old problem! I’ll write back with the resolution once I see what happens.
