DNR Customs

No waiting, quick. friendly. Needed passport pictures and had them in under 10 minutes.

Sooooo, no clue what the «DNR» stands for, but the «Customs» part of their name is because they look like they do alterations? But whatever their namesake is, I came because they’re one of the approved sites for fingerprinting if you’re applying for a job with the state that requires a full federal background check. After trying out another spot that was never open during their posted hours, the HR assistant for my department sent me here.
They’re a little tricky to find. If you can find the food court in the Peachtree Center Towers, ask at the information desk, or enter the 241 Peachtree Building from the street and look for their little glass storefront. Parking in this area is tricky, but they’re also easily accessible by MARTA. From the outside, they don’t look anything like a place that would offer fingerprinting, but they do!
The owner was great — cracking jokes and keeping me entertained while I waited (briefly) in line and while he got my prints (all done digitally by the way –creepy!). When I complimented him on his prompt service and for honoring the operating hours posted on the website, he proudly told me they always open promptly 7am. Now that’s service!
