Update: Elizabeth, the older Korean woman, is no longer doing the alterations herself. The last two times I went here, I was helped by her daughter and son-​in-​law, who, despite doing a great job on my dress and coat, did not communicate as well as I would have liked. Just be sure that you know what you want before you go in, and be able to communicate it simply in English. However, they were super nice and friendly and did not charge me for a simple neckline alteration because I had another coat being altered.

I was in search of a good tailor, as I always need pants hemmed. I recommend Gil’s but wanted to see who else I could find. Elizabeth’s Alterations was perfect — they had my pants ready in 4 days and take credit cards. Both pants came out great, highly recommend!
