Firehouse Subs

I have eaten here many times and the food is always good. Today the food was just like normal but the service was hideous. Connie was the person who took my order, and I felt like I must have wronged her in a previous life. She struggled to say anything, did not smile and looked like she just did not care. What a horrible way to spend you life.

This was my first time trying out Firehouse. It was a tad bit overwhelming graspsing the lingo used. I must say though the staff realized I was confused and two of them offered to answer any questions I may have. I advised I was here for the free birthday sub. After seeing I wasnt interested in any of the sandwiches they offered, I decided to let my daughter choose what she would like. The staff didnt object.
She ended up getting the Meatball Sub and loved it. She said they actually used cheese and enough of it.
I will attempt to go back to enjoy a sub at a later date to eat a sub and give my opinion.

I am a huge fan of firehouse. Just not this location. Long story short, horrible firehouse. I have been to firehouses up and down the east coast and west coast and this was by far the worse experience. They couldn’t keep up with the lunch rush. Ran out of ice, no Coke zero (I didn’t think those fancy machines could possible run out of anything lol), food took forever, screwed up my order, «manager wanna be» was not a good leader and horrible customer service, the trash cans were overflowing, dirty tables… Sorry… Got nothing positive and they lost a customer.
It all started with no ice in the fancy coke machine.
Then no coke zero.
Then realizing the female at the register charged me for 1 sandwich but 2 combo meals. Ya. I know makes no sense.
After waiting about 20 minutes for the one sandwich, we realized they’re not coming back with a second sandwich. I look at my receipt and realize there’s only one sandwich. I walk up to the counter where the sandwiches get picked up. I asked a nice young lady to verify my order did not have the second sandwich and she was trying to help me out… this other lady (seemed like she was the manager, yet not wearing a name tag) started to mumble with attitude in the background. I had no clue she was talking to me so paid her no attention. There were 5 other employees around her making sandwiches whom she could have been talking to. Silly me… The attitude was for me! I was asking the nice young lady if I have to stand in line again since it was practically out the door. And of course, there goes the lady with the attitude again trying to interfere. Went back to the cashier and ordered my second sandwich. As I’m standing there paying for their screw up, Miss Attitude was STILL going at it about how I went up to the wrong side of the counter and wasn’t listening to her.
I feel sorry for the rest of the staff that has to deal with that woman.

Great Steak & Cheese sandwich combo on wheat Cookie was really good also plenty of parking and convenient refreshments ESPN FOR GAME WATCHING

This is place is awesome and I’m glad they are by Cumberland Mall. The subs are amazing, no more subway for lunch! I’m going across the street…

I have been here a few times and each time their service is simply amazing. Great customer service!!! From the time I order my food until I leave… Due to the lunch crowd they bring your food to your table. If you are in a rush order your food online.
Now it wouldn’t be a good review if I didn’t state the bad. Limited parking, but the service and hot great subs makes up for that.
I don’t eat pork anymore so I always get the Engineer sub… FYI a large sub is more than enough for 2 ppl.

The greatest subs I’ve ever tasted. I have to come all the way to the east coast to get them considering Firehouse Subs aren’t in California.

Pretty good subs. This location is big and very busy. They still get the food out pretty quickly and it’s good as any firehouse sub can be. No complaints with this except for maybe the parking. the parking’s kind of strange most of it extends into the back. It’s a pretty busy intersection with a small drive so be careful on the way in and out.

Pretty amazing to watch a new location go down hill so fast. I have been here multiple times and the service and food quality has gone way down hill.
Went at lunch and the line was pretty small. 2 or 3 people the time I was there. After ordering I waited almost 15 minutes for my sandwich. When it came it looked like it got run over by a car and not how it was supposed to come. Very very unappetizing.
I will not bore you with the detials on customer service. Lets just end with the manager would not even come out to see me.
So crappy food and crappy service the perfect combiation for not going back

Firehouse Subs always has good food and now they are in a great new spot. The atmosphere is nice and roomy. They even have a patio with awning for those nice evenings. Customer service was very friendly and the food came out quick. The gook and ladder was awesome.

What a great idea to open up a Firehouse Subs in this location. This spot used to be a Greek restaurant that I tried once, but I guess it wasn’t doing so well. Parking may look limited from the outside driving in, but there’s more in the back. The tricky part is leaving. I’m not really sure if you exit through the same way you enter or you exit a different way. There is covered outdoor seating. The inside of the establishment is very spacious and very decorative with the firehouse theme. All the employees greet you when you walk in.
I finally had the chance to try Firehouse Subs for the very first time during my lunch break.
I placed my order and within ten minutes, my order was ready. They bring the food to you so that you don’t have to get up. I ordered a turkey bacon ranch sandwich combo with chips and a medium drink. They give you a choice of either wheat or white bread and the bread is really soft, warm, and lightly toasted. I liked my sandwich, but I would like to try the other interesting items on the menu like the Engineer or the New York Steamer. When you’re done with your meal, an employee cleans up the table and takes away your sandwich «containers/​baskets». Talk about good service! On another note, I am really shocked at what a medium drink is here. It’s a large in my terms. They also have a Coca-​Cola fountain machine that allows you to mix multiple flavors.
Overall, I look forward to ordering lunch during my lunch break especially when they have online ordering for this location.
