This is probably the premier dental practice in Atlanta, maybe in the Southeast. They are one of the most technologically advanced places you can go to, so whatever the newest and best practices are, they’re doing it. They also take a detailed interest in your dental health. It isn’t really just go in for a cleaning or a cavity or whatever, they do all kinds of things to monitor changes that could lead to something.
That having been said, they aren’t cheap. I’m not sure what other dentists are charging but I’m guessing these guys are at the top end of not past it. They don’t deal with insurance directly either as far as I can tell, so while you’re welcome to submit your claim to your dental insurance yourself and they will provide you with the print outs to do that, I usually find myself lucky if my insurance plan covers even ¹⁄₃ of their charges because they are generally at least double what is considered a «reasonable and customary charge». There’s an extent to which you get what you pay for though and since you only have one body and one set of teeth, there’s something to be said for going to the very best, particularly when going to someone who might be inferior can waste your time and money by having to redo procedures that weren’t done right in the first place, and who wants to have to sit through more dental work?
My guess is that a lot of the people in Atlanta with a lot of money probably go here, I’ve seen some of the city’s biggest big shots there but I won’t name names, I’ll leave that to your imagination. So that tells you something which is when money is no object, you get the best. As I say, I’m not fan of how expensive they are, that’s the only drawback I see, but that’s the price of getting top notch treatment.
