My wife spent a night out of town of business where the hotel was booked by her company. The experience was very bad to say the least. Pros: Cheap under $ 50 a night. Cons: Everything is worn out. More of a motel atmosphere where you enter your room from outdoors. She left after the first evening for a three night stay after she felt unsafe. There always seemed to be someone in the their car watching people come in and out. Creepy. Wifi is provided but very weak in several locations.

I was in town for 6 days and wanted a cheaper option than the $ 900 conference hotel near the airport. I found a cheaper option in Marietta with Homestead. The location is excellent — right at 285 and convenient to 75⁄85. You do get what you pay for. Not to make generalizations but I don’t know any female friends of mine who would willingly stay here. The bed was hard, if you stay less than 7 days(I stayed 6) there is no maid service. They give you towels on check in and if you need more you have to go to the office. The alarm clock didn’t work and only 2 days was I able to get a wakeup call. The other days either rang with no answer I’d went to voicemail indicating they were closed. The room was a studio and good size for one person. It had a refrigerator stove and dishwasher. When the bathroom light was on the fan blew. And it was loud. Typically I shower alone, but one morning I turned around to see a big bug on the wall with me. I saw another winged ant-like creature in the living room. Not a good sight. It was cheap($ 44 per night on the weekends and $ 49 during the week) but you get what you pay for…
