Very affordable for a nice coffee shop. I had a cold brew and it was fantastic. They carry Intelligentsia coffee, and have a variety of food selections, beer, wine, and ice cream. Lots of table space for laptops. Staff seemed a bit scattered, but it didn’t hinder the quality or speed. Also they were very unassuming and down to earth.

One of my favorite places to hang out or just go study. I love how at night this place turns into a bar too. I never came here during those hours, but i think that is genius. Just hang out during day, grab a cup of coffee, then grab a beer or wine later in the night. Only con is that there is only street parking, so it gets kind of hard to find parking during busy hours. Oh. They have kind of pops here too!

This is a good place to come and work for a few hours. I sat at a really spacious table and was able to spread out and get comfortable. I had the gumbo and also a blueberry scone that was able to fill me up for a good amount of time. I’d reccomend this place for anyone who wants to come and relax for a few hours or get some work done.

The staff let me mixed mango and peach smoothie together. So thanks for that cuz I didn’t know what to pick! Got a Large for $ 4.81 total. It taste amazing and refreshing. It’s perfect after a long walk on the BeltLine. The atmosphere consists of mostly people working on their laptop(whether it be students or professionals) and people coming here just to chill. Love the set up inside!

After running through the rain in the search for a place to sit and chat, my friend and I arrived at Inman Perk on a Sunday night. Even approaching 10PM, there were a decent number of customers chatting away or studying for finals. The location had plenty of seating(high and low seating, couches) and felt cozy. I ordered a double scoop of ice cream(rocky road and cookie dough) in a cone. After struggling to get the scoops of ice cream in a cone, the cashier gave me the ice cream in a cup with the cone on top… which I was perfectly happy with. The ice cream was A-OK in taste, but slightly overpriced for the quantity and quality. It didn’t feel like two scoops, and the texture of the rocky road was slightly gummy(I’m not sure if that’s normal, but I didn’t like it)? I would probably return to Inman Perk to grab a coffee after dinner in the area. However, I’m going to stick with coffee or tea next time.

My #1 study spot. I like that there’s ample room to study and spread out, the temperature is usually inviting, and the menu is pretty good. I’ve had a couple coffees I like but I also like their beer selection. The grilled cheese is yummy and the breakfast wrap is nice and solid. Parking can be annoying because of all the neighboring businesses. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because of the staff. I’ve been several times and no one is just really friendly; but they’re not rude. So, just order and keep it moving

I like it! I’m somewhat of a digital nomad — at least I like to think of myself that way. So I usually work from home, on the road or in a coffee shop/restaurant. This one happens to be my favorite right now. I’ve been coming here two times a week to work and it’s a fantastic place to get work done, and even be able to take calls if needed. Many other coffee joints are far too loud for this. It’s a pretty chill spot and I love the Inman Park area. Coffee is fantastic. One of these times I might slip and try something sweet :) haha.

Can someone please bring a great coffee shop to this corner of Inman Park? We have great restaurants but no good coffee anywhere. Although Inman Perk is a good place to get some work done, the coffee and breakfast foods are subpar at best. Coffee is weak and watered down, pastries are frozen and served like they’re out of the back of one of those worker trucks you see on construction sites, and it’s all served by emo kids with bad attitudes per their moody generation. Sorry Inman Perk, you need a change.

Coffee heads dream come true. In the cutest little neighborhood surrounded by restaurants. You could come here for a meeting or grab a cup and hit the belt line. They have tons of yummy sandwiches and vegan options. AND breakfast is served all day. My favorite part? The 20 oz latte can be made with 3 or 4 shots! No extra cost. Well worth it. They also have lavender syrup for those who are riding that wave with me. If you’re in Atlanta skip a day at Starbucks and check out this local gem.

OMG! Not only can I get a great cup of coffee I can add to that a scoop of ice cream or a delicious cookie. There is a full bar in this fairly quiet spot for laptop toters. Which means you can arrive in the morning have a little something to eat, have lunch and a smoothie, and finish the day with a sandwich and a glass of wine. I could find a reason to be here everyday. Loved it.

We came here for a quick breakfast. The place was busy but we got our order quickly. It was a very laid back atmosphere. The food/drinks were a bit over priced. Just ordered drinks and a pastry can’t say much about the food.

Lots of space to work on your laptop but the coffee is awful, watered down and awful. I’ve come back 3 – 4 times in the last 3 years, and it’s the same. Baristas don’t know what cappuccino means and just make watery tasting lattes. The tea selection is good and that’s why it gets 2 stars instead of 1.

I am so glad I found this place! Parking was hard to find because there are so many shops on this avenue and not to mention the Beltline is right behind this coffee shop as well. I had to park behind the entire complex and walk around the building. Not a bad walk considering I didn’t have to pay for parking. I ordered a french vanilla latte and was so impressed! The foam was perfectly decadent! It also had a pretty design pour and I am always excited about that. I will always come here if I’m around Old Fourth Ward/Inman Park area. Hands down best latte I’ve discovered in Atlanta in a long time! Service was fast and the latte was poured perfectly to the rim up the cup! This place has truly mastered the art of latte!

I want to like you more, Inman Perk, I really do. But alas, I can’t. I’ve been to Inman Perk for both coffee and lunch since it’s just down the street from my office, and while the coffee was good, the lunch was just ok. When we went for lunch I got a turkey panini with swiss cheese and artichoke spread, my coworkers ordered lobster bisque(until they ran out after two orders), a gumbo(which had cold spots in it), a melted BLT, grilled cheese and a salad(which was mostly spinach without a lot of toppings). My sandwich, even though it was a panini wasn’t particularly warm either, just kinda room temperature. And don’t go to Inman Perk if you’re in a rush — whether its coffee, a sandwich, whatever — it’ll be a while. Ok, last thing. This place is always full of people. Which is great for them but not for those of us with more than two people in a party together. Trying to find a place for five people to sit when the larger, communal tables are occupied by lots of single people with laptops and lattes makes it really hard to sit together for a meal. I know there’s not much to be done after they’ve claimed a spot, but it’s annoying for the rest of us.

Inman Perk is my kind of coffee shop: 1) awkward-looking staff(#noshade) 2) with all the different plug in options they are practically begging you to work on your laptop, charge your phone, or electrocute yourself 3) A diverse and plentiful customer base. This place was clearly not designed with shiny yuppies in mind. 4) They serve food other than baked goods. I had a pear and blue cheese salad. Simple, but good. 5) They also have a bar serving wine, beer, and specialty drinks. I might become a regular here.

I rate coffee shops along a couple of key factors: comfort(lighting, seating, layout) friendly(is the staff warm or cold and standoff-ish), can I sit awhile and work, chat with a friend and(finally) how is their cappuccino? Inman Perk is a-okay on my scale: Comfort: indoor and outdoor seating, more indoor seating options at tables, conversation nooks and a bar area. Not too light, Not too dark — just right Staff — just friendly enough to serve up a delicious beverage without getting into your business or making you feel like they have better things to do. Sure stay awhile, there’s plenty of space and there are things to nibble on as well. Cappuccino. Just right. Yup, the kind of place you’d like them to learn your name.

We stopped in here after walking down to PCM and back to Inman Park on a misty Sunday afternoon. The first thing I noticed were the patrons: If you plan on being a camper here, know that you’re not the only one – Laptops and introverts as far as the eye could see, and nary an available wall plug in sight. It was a good thing we were on the move and didn’t plan to stick around. I had a venti chai, my significant other had a cappuccino. The chai was great – On the sweeter and more vanilla-y side of the scale if you drink chai regularly. The cappuccino was, in the words of my verbose partner, «good.» Service was fast and friendly. For a nice stop in coffee shop close by, Inman Perk does the job. We’ll definitely be swinging by on future walks.

By far the weirdest and rudest experience. The person working(redhead, facial piercing) finally appeared after a 4 minute wait. She helped the guy in front of me quickly. When I approached, I told her I’d like a small chai. She tells me it’ll be a while. How long? 10 minutes. Okkkk. I ask if making a coffee would be easier. She awkwardly fidgets, pressing her hands between her thighs and says… she really wouldn’t like to make a coffee right now because she was having kitchen issues. Ok, I can understand having issues at work. That wasn’t what bothered me. It was her immature response and fidgeting like a two year old who had to use the restroom that was embarrassing to witness. I simply walked out. Stunned. Sadly, this is the THIRD less than mediocre experience I’ve had at Inman Perk. I won’t be back.

I use to frequent this place often. It’s relatively quiet and has a nice vibe. A good mix of Emory grad students, Inman park neighbors, and professional freelancers are in and out. The owner of this place however is rude. He’s been rude to me more than three times. As a business owner myself, I know the importance of service and cash flow. On two occasions the owner(Caucasian guy light red hair and glasses) confrontationaly approached me and asked«are you going to buy some coffee?» The first time it happened I assumed he thought I was another customer who may had come into his establishment and not ordered coffee. I would order coffee, pastries, beer, and ice cream when I was there. But the situation happened once more. And another time he was rude to me while at checkout. The last straw was when I came there with a politician interested in my design services. The owner treated my client rudely.

I’d heard great things about Inman Perk and I was so excited to give this coffee shop a try while in the area for dinner. When my pre-dinner plans to sip Intellentsia lattes fell through, I decided to make my friends stop in with me after dinner. We only have 45 minutes until closing, so we rushed in to grab something and sit for a bit. We took a little time picking drinks that wouldn’t keep us up all night. I ended up with a nice hot chai tea latte and my friend ordered a hot tea. Drinks are surprisingly affordable. I hate when I pay $ 4 for a small latte. And they take the Levelup app! I believe there is currently a Scoutmob coupon for a free coffee, too. Just wanna say that I understand, Friday nights is turn up night after a long week of work. But you don’t need to yell into the mellow coffee shop every 15 minutes that you’re closing soon. At 30 minutes in, the baristas were noisily stacking chairs and moving tables around, getting ready to close up shop. It was pretty obnoxious and rude. I usually see baristas working the long hour after closing to considerately clean up shop. I’ve never seen a worse team of baristas, not even at franchises like Starbucks. It was not a comfortable feeling to be shooed out of a coffee shop in that manner. Mic drop. I had a sip of my friend’s free Intellegentsia coffee and while she wasn’t a fan of the bitter hit, I thought it was delicious. Definitely better than my Chai Tea Latte. My friend tasted it before I told her what it was and she thought it was a Pumpkin Spice Latte. The Chai was very weak and overpowered by the milk. While it was a great for a smooth and warm night cap, it was not really what I asked for. And with them calling out their closing time, I decided not to ask for another. Pretty disappointed — I shouldn’t have set my hopes so high. I’ll have to give them another try during the middle of the day so I don’t encounter the end of the day and week blues.

Yayy an Atlanta coffee shop that sell Intelligentsia Coffee. My ice coffee was excellent. You can ask them to heat up your pastry. I had a strawberry danish, it was yummy. Plenty of tables and plugs for laptop, so you can stay to work or study. The only problem i got was that my Lenovo cannot connect to the 5Ghz wifi(my laptop only have Wireless-N 7260 single band card… i know right –_-) but my LGG3 can connect to internet fine, its super fast.

My last review was pretty accurate but I have to take away another star because I keep going back to this place hoping the experience will be better and every time I’m disappointed. If it’s true that being insane means you keep doing the same thing over and over with the expectation that the outcome will be different, then there’s a good chance I’m insane. The place has a good variety of offerings and the concept is good but the execution is sub par. This time, I waited over 20 minutes(no exaggeration) for an Americano even though there was no line at the register. If you’re unfamiliar with an Americano, it’s just a shot of espresso and hot water. Additionally, it was slightly sour tasting. Once in a while the Dunkin Donuts down the street from my place tastes like this as well. Not sure what it is. Maybe someone who knows more about coffee can explain it. I really hope the management whips this place into shape because it’s really convenient for me. But who knows, maybe some competition will open up across the street in the new building that’s almost complete.
