This Jersey Mike’s is located in between the Publix and Chipotle on Collier Rd. The store front is kind of small, and the layout is pretty much like any other quick service sub shop. They serve both hot and cold subs, and they come in three sizes — mini, regular, and giant. Jersey Mikes has a limited topping selection, much similar to Jimmy John’s. From what I saw, there was lettuce, tomato, onions, banana peppers, and jalapenos to choose from. However, what sets them apart is that they slice their cheese and meat right in front of you. This definitely adds to the experience making the ingredients taste fresher. Also, the roast beef was super good, comparable to Publix subs(my number one choice). I do like my slices of meat a little thicker so next time I’m going to ask if that is an option. Prices are going to be a little higher than Subway, my regular roast beef sub was about $ 6 — $ 7 with tax. I saw that people had complained about service of this particular location. From my experience, I didn’t have any issue with the service. The staff was friendly, and kindly served me even though I could tell they were nearing closing time.

Let me start by saying, I love Jersey Mike’s, in fact is is my favorite sub sandwich chain. I have visited locations all over the country during my travels and frequent relocations and have NEVER given a single location a bad review before today. This location is a disgrace. As is stated repeatedly in the other reviews, the customer service here is non existent. The employees don’t seem to care if your order is right or not. On my visit, after having to repeat my order several times and have them take things off I didn’t ask for and add things I did, they finally get my sandwich done. I get to the cashier and he tries to force me to give a tip. The manager or owner(a guy who was clearly in charge), hears this exchange and doesn’t say a word. I sit down and the sandwich just falls apart(they were very rough in cutting the bread ad building the sandwich). I ate my chips and threw the sandwich pile out. A complete waste. I live in Midtown, so this is the closest location to me, which sucks, because I won’t go back. I even have a customer loyalty card, but I guess it will just have to go to waste. Sad, I hope a manager or owner reads this and does something to fix this mess.

Consistently the service /staff at this location is poor at best and most times horrible. They seem ambivalent that customers are there and care even less about getting orders correct even. In my last visit I had to repeat my order 4 times until it was finally correct. All the while 3 other guys stood and stared at the person slicing meat and contributed absolutely nothing. It’s been this way for years and obviously the owner doesn’t care to take the time to hire staff. I’ll probably reluctantly go again but only because it’s close and options are limited.

Horrendous customer service. With 1 person in front of me, it took the sandwich maker 7 minutes to begin to make my sandwich. But she was cute and single, so I guess I should have just waited patiently.

I agree here — poor poor service — cashier is pretty darn rude. I walked in, nobody in there eating — no signs to tell you«order here — pay here» so I walked up to the counter near the cash register when I was abruptly informed by the cashier that I needed to walk 10′ down the line to place my order first — sandwich was awful too. NONE of the staff there seemed to care much for service. I did go online and write to Jersey Mikes, this location my filter all those emails or Jersey Mikes just does not care about customer comments because i never heard back.

Sloppy sandwiches and very rude cashier the day I ordered. I love Jersey Mike’s but this location needs to be improved. There needs to be more consistency in both areas before I return to this location. Sorry.

I ordered a Big Kahuna Chicken Cheesesteak, it was really good. The sandwhich is so big, it’s cut into four sections. Spicy, lots of meat and cheese and fixings. Service is friendly enough and it takes a little while because they’re making it fresh. Good job Jersey Mike on Howell Mill, I’ll be back.

Good burgers(better than fast food) and really good fries. I’m not in love with the idea of having to smell like meat every time I leave this place, but it’s worth it for the fresh taste of yumminess. Once, I forgot that I wanted to order bacon, and even though they were almost done fixing my burger, they grilled and threw some on it for me, at no additional charge. So, I’ll even give them an extra star for good customer service.

This place makes a great sandwich. Staff was not friendly, but the sandwich was good, and they have great sweet tea. I like that they slice all meats and cheeses on demand, and veggies taste fresh. Overall, a good sandwich shop.

You like overpriced lettuce? Well, then you will love these sandwiches!!! Every time, at least six, I’ve eaten here, it has been a lettuce sandwich. Can’t believe it took that many times before I gave up…

I like Jersey Mikes. My experience with this Jersey Mike’s was pleasant. the staff was nice and helpful and my sandwich was nice… my only gripe was that my sandwich was not made in front of me. i don’t know, something about it was weird. I’ve never been to a jersey Mikes where the sandwiches weren’t made in front of the customer. weird.

A lot of people I know raved about this place, but I just don’t get it. There’s nothing particularly wrong with the food, and it’s admittedly a bit fresher than Subway. It’s just nothing to write home about, and after the rave reviews I’ve heard from people I know, I sort of expected it would be.

On Sundays, after a long night out, I would either crave a bagel, a pint of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream or a Jersey Mike’s Sub. Whichever one I got, although I did have my favorite that usually took the cake, Jersey Mike’s always hit the spot. My usual — tuna on wheat with bacon. MMMmmmm. Weird combo I know… but so delicious. Service was always friendly and ingredients always fresh. Kind of like a Subway, but polished up and a lot tastier. I so wish we had one up here in NY.

«Regular Club Deluxe, Mike’s Way but with Spicy Mustard and Pickles. Awesome man, yes I’d like to get chips and a drink!» I love/hate the open line fast food, tell me what you want on your thing like Mike’s, Moe’s, Subway, etc. do. Usually more on the hate side, because I can see how lackadaisically they slop my food onto my whatever. But when I went to this Jersey Mike’s they were witty and chatty, made excellent sandwiches, and the food looked and tasted incredibly fresh. I don’t know where they found such good tomatoes already because I have been unable to locate them yet. I highly recommend, and as I said earlier, got to be the Club Deluxe. My one complaint is that it’s a Pepsi restaurant not a Coke.

Whenever I get a craving for a chicken parmesan sub, I go here. Yum! I want one now!
