Coming to JAM reminds me of the boutiques in Asia I used to visit where the people remember you, aren’t too busy to get to know you, and obviously take great pride in their work. Don’t expect fancy wallpaper or bottled water(we all know who is paying for that in the end) but do expect excellent workmanship and timely service. I would definitely recommend JAM to anyone who wants to personalize something for themselves or for a gift. My last project was a new messenger bag from Patagonia. It was a gift and I needed a monogram and a school patch applied to it. John’s was able to handle it no problem. They did just move to a new location, so I don’t know if that was part of my issue trying to call them. «Mailbox is full». But, if you need someone who does this kind of thing, you can’t go wrong with John’s Alterations and Monogramming. I thought their pricing was very reasonable as well.
