Julian’s Cosmetics + Skincare

Julian’s has been nothing but a blessed skincare journey! I filled out a questionnaire about my skin condition and medical history and Dorlisa, the esthetician, helped me figure out the best way to care for my skin. I left with a complete routine to care for my skin and i have definitely seen the results. The products that were recommended for my skin have helped solved my acne problem and my skin looks better every day!
I have been getting chemical peels for a few months and every time I get a treatment done Dorlisa explains in detail what type of peel she is performing and how it will help my skin. I noticed the result of the peel as soon as we were done with the first one and over the last two months my skin has been glowing!
I know I made the right choice to trust Julian and his team when I get complemented every day by my friends and family about the great improvement they see on my skin! Julian’s has helped me feel the need to wear less and less makeup every time I go out because of how much my skin has improved and feel better about myself!

I had a facial at Julian’s and it was by far one the best facials. Dorlisa, the esthetician is very experienced in skincare and gives a great facial! I had a 30 minute facial, next time I will be getting an hour. I recommend going to Julian’s Cosmetics for your skincare needs. Julian’s carries the top of the line skincare products and makeup lines. On my next visit I will be getting my makeup done by Julian!

I was searching for someone that sold Revision so that I could buy a product. I would have bought it at my regular spa, but it was after hours. Usually my next step is to check Amazon but since it was a Thursday, I wouldn’t get it until Monday because I have things shipped to my office. Julian’s is the closest place to me that sells Revision. I checked out the whole store and was excited to see that they sell other products I use that I normally order on Amazon. Upon checking out, I was shocked to hear the total. It sounded really high but I thought there might have been a $ 10 markup. No big deal because I wanted the product right then. Once I got in my car I checked Amazon and saw that Revision sells the product on Amazon for $ 31 and some change. I just bought the same product for $ 70! I immediately returned the product because that’s ridiculous.

I adore this place. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They even offered for me to bring in my existing products to learn to use them better. Lovely selection too!

I absolutely love Julian’s. They carry some of the top skincare and cosmetic lines. I also like that they have a variety of unique gifts that I purchased for friends and family. I brought a friend and we both had facials that were fantastic.
I have had countless facials over the years from top rated spa’s and medical spa’s and I must say that I am overly impressed by the products used and the attention to detail on explaining the details of the treatments.
My skin was glowing for weeks and my friend, who had never had a facial in her life, and she’s over 60, was so delighted with her experience that she had to purchase every product used to take back to Maryland with her. My friend also had her makeup done after her facial and looked radiant and youthful.
Another bonus… enjoying complimentary a complimentary glass of wine before or after your facial. BONUS! :-)

Went to Julian’s for a European Facial. Dorlisa was the esthetician who performed the service. A++. Probably the best facial and total relaxing experience I ever had. No high sales press, just warm and knowledgeable people. Please consider visiting this store.

I was in need of a facial. I was able to call and get an appointment the same day. I drove around for about 10 minutes to find a parking space. I was immediately seen by the esthetician. She told me that a peel would be my best bet. No problem. She begins the treatment. After about 3 minutes, I told her that my skin was burning. She stated that a tingle was normal. Okay, no problem. The burn intensified. I told her again that it was burning. She waits for the timer to go off, she removed the peel and by this time, my face was on fire. She does the rest of the facial. She steps out of the room, I look in the mirror to a white, swollen patch of skin about the size of a dime under my eye. She comes back in the room with forms for me to sign about the risks of getting a peel. I think I should have signed these before the peel. I let her know that I am aware of where the peel may have been too strong. She says that the area would scab over and fall off. She tells me not to pick at the area and to wear sun screen. Okay. I pay for the facial and leave with the hopes that she was correct. About 30 minutes later I get a call stating that they under charged me by $ 50. I pay the difference. 3 – 5 days later the skin scabs over and fall off. I am not a picker and I let my skin heal naturally. Today, About two months later, I have a dark scar about the size of a dime under my left eye. I have to cover it up everyday because it looks horrible. Oh well, I won’t be returning. I did not call back because I don’t want them to even offer to touch my skin again. Lesson learned.

Julian’s. .. . What an Experience!
Facial: Nicole mapped out everything specific to my needs and was extremely thorough in her administration of what needed to be done. Likewise, the facial time was an absolute dream — and dream, I did.
Make Up: These folks KNOW makeup, and I was in very good hands with Kim. Everyone has a sixth sense as to your personal boundaries in what you’re looking for and the look you’re trying to achieve.
What an honor it is to have this much talent with this much experience at our disposal. I cannot wait to plan a girls afternoon/​evening at Julian’s near the holidays. Love Town Brookhaven and it’s amenities which will provide for other distractions for the rest of the day.

Ok, I love me some Woo. And I used to live right across the street and got to know all the folks there. They will ever be in my heart.
Today, though, I walked into Julian’s — and lo and behold — it was the same Julian from Woo who’s opened his own place! So excited about this — I just don’t do facials, but my talented friend Kimberly Mack — seriously, if y’all need makeup done for anything from a special date to a wedding, call her (you can find her on FB) — asked me to come in.
OMG (and I really don’t like that acronym but that’s all I can say). Nicole is a genius. I filled out a lengthy questionnaire about everything from skin type to medicines I take to diet… all so she could figure out how best to take care of me. I came in because Kimberly asked (I didn’t know they’ve only been open a couple weeks!) and I was very nervous — pedicures are my domain but facials — eep!
Nicole handled all my anxiety with such grace and she made sure to use such skin-​appropriate (they use Caudile products) products and was super-​attentive to my skittishness — she told me it would be the highest compliment if I fell asleep in her hands — and I did! Seriously — it was like getting a massage — she even worked on my hands and feet!
BTW — they offer you water or wine when you come in but you won’t even need the wine because it is so completely relaxing to be in such good hands.
I left with samples and a cute new makeup bag — and I think I’ve got to go back, at least for a facial in a couple months (summer’s end? sounds about right!) and some of that amazing smelling lotion she used on me — I still smell delicious.
Go. Brookhaven isn’t far away. I promise — it is totally worth it.
