Okay, quick update. Since I first started ordering from here, Just Add Honey has stepped up their e-commerce game. Majorly. They offer non-tin versions of their tea making it cheaper and process orders a lot quicker. With my most recent order, it got here in less than 5 days from placing it. Much better than my first experience. In fact, I’m drinking their Black Coconut tea as I write this. Yes, it’s still my favorite. Can’t wait to crack into their Georgia Peaches tea again. Mmmmm the taste of summer… If you like tea then you’re really going to like Just Add Honey.

I love this tea company! The service is always, always excellent! If you are nervous to go here because of a lack of knowledge on teas and the different varieties, don’t be worried because they will take care of you and give great advice. They have a large selection of loose leaf teas that you can order by the ounce or served in house. The teas are organized by flavor and how caffeinated they are. We ordered tea for two, with«earl grey cream» tea, it was served in a cool tea pot on a very pretty set with little cookies as well. The tea was delicious! We added honey and half and half to ours, provided by the server. They also had almond milk, among other creamers and various sweetness like sugar and agave too. It’s a great place to grab a cup of tea or an ounce to take back home and brew for yourself, great ambience, beautiful décor and pleasant, informed service.

Wanted to update over a month later and just add that no honey was ever sent as an apology. The missing January honey was never received either. I guess it was another oversight. Sad

I saw a Groupon for this. I love tea and I thought it’d be a fun thing to do on my staycation. It was a tiny bit hard to find, but once I figured it out, it was easy getting in. This place is unbelievably cute! It’s so warm and inviting inside, with little chairs and tables scattered throughout. The staff member on hand was lovely to talk with — we wound up having a great conversation while she curated my tea tasting experience. Everything I tried was wonderful. There’s something special about loose leaf tea that you can’t really replicate in bagged teas. She picked some really nice ones for me. I will definitely be back, even without a Groupon. I have some friends who are also tea lovers and the whole experience was so nice and friendly, I can’t wait to go back.

I absolutely loved this place. The atmosphere, the service and the TEA was amazing! I had the matcha lemonade tea which was perfect, and the sweet tart with black tea! Everything was great! I will definitely be back.

Lovely little tea spot! Excellent service! For a tea enthusiast it was heaven on earth. Amazing flavours & blends and they even had caffein amount marked on every blend. And the cup I had was the perfect temprature. The small things like the filtered lids on the take away cups just gives this place a 5 star!

Such a cute little tea shop. I discovered this place during my «Atlanta Food Walks» food tour. We tried the Georgia Peaches tea which was delish. There were so many varieties to choose from and the staff were super friendly. I even purchased some tea to take home(Georgia Peaches and the Wild Blueberry teas) and I’m loving them both. I may even order some more online :)

This place is AMAZING. So incredibly sad that there is not something like this in Nashville, because there is definitely a need for it there! The space is open and warm, the service is GREAT(Amy is the best!!) and the tea is of high-quality. No better place to study or just chill with friends. Definitely the type of place that makes me sad that I don’t live near here. P. S. Do yourself a favor and try the flourless brownies. You definitely won’t regret it.

I came here yesterday with two of my friends. We were picking out a tea assortment for one of my friends boyfriend’s birthday, that is coming up. A lady, I think Sienna(check name spelling) came and helped us instantly with picking out a well balanced assortment of teas. Another thing that impressed me was when I ordered an iced tea, she told me they just sold out of the kind I wanted, but she looked inside the fridge and found about half a cup of it left and mixed with with another tea. Which ended up being a really good tea combination. Would definitely come back! The tea selection is great, their prices are reasonable, and they offer a college discount!

I love being on Auburn Ave. It’s true Atlanta heritage and history. There are some great businesses re-establishing the culture of Sweet Auburn and Just Add Honey fits right in. A funky twist to a traditional Southern tea room. I initially walked in with my son, just to look around, because I had heard so much about the place. The young lady(her name is Aaliyah/Aleia/I’m not sure how she spells it) behind the counter greeted us so warmly and was so inviting when she talked about all the different tea options. She sucked my son right in when she told him about the chocolate iced tea. After checking out the wide variety of handcrafted loose leaf teas, I decided on black coconut. Aaliyah/Aleia prepared our tea while we waited comfortably at a table. She served it to us with a gingersnap cookie and our choice of sweetener. The tea was delicious! Y’all, I love tea and I had only had loose leaf tea one time before but that experience made me buy a teapot right there. I ended up buying both an ounce of the Black Coconut and the Auburn Ave. I can’t wait to try other flavors. It’s a great spot to chill, people watch and catch some good vibes.

Just Add Honey has the best gourmet iced tea I’ve ever had. You can stop in there and find special teas that you won’t find other places. The space is adorable and the staff is friendly. They offer free WiFi and a counter-top to sit and work in front of a window.

I’m not a big Tea drinker, but since I moved right next-door to Just Add Honey I’ve wanted to try it for a few weeks. I finally went inside and was greeted by a friendly worker. She asked what I was looking for in Tea and I said an iced, refreshing tea. I’m not much of a hot tea drinker, so she explained the three Tea flavor specials of the day and let me sample them. I liked the mint tea, but I was craving a more fruity iced tea, so I got the Georgia Peach tea(black tea). I added a little simple syrup to sweeten it and it was delicious. Very subtle peach flavor, but delicious. I do not like when I get a strong tea taste, so this was great for me. I ended up getting a cranberry muffin as well which was really good too. I now know where to get some good tea in my neighborhood! The inside is very clean, bright, inviting and lots of chairs/tables. They have a large selection of tea’s on the walls in jars, so you can have some freshly brewed tea as well.

So happy this company partnered with the Atlanta Streetcar Initiative. It’s a fantastic addition to the developing street of Auburn Avenue. After Starbucks on campus angered me, I went in search of a new coffee/tea shop close to home. Google maps brought me here, and I’m grateful it did! I walked in to a friendly face(can’t remember her name) that greeted me into the store. The shop is vibrant, colorful and has the aroma of honey infused baked goods. I asked the employee many questions about the tea offerings, and decided to go with the iced Black Coconut with a hint of cacao beans. It was extremely refreshing. If you live on GSU campus or are riding the Streetcar, definitely stop by this shop! They have a lot to choose from, friendly staff and free wifi.

I’m always excited to find tea shops, so this place was actually the first stop we made on a mini-trip to Atlanta. It’s in part of downtown, and walking distance to some location attractions, like the MLK Historical Site. The owner also recommended we visit the Sweet Auburn Market, that was just acouple blocks away, to find some lunch after our tea. The inside of the shop is very clean and bright, with plenty of tables to enjoy either a hot or cold cup of tea, and seems like it’d be a good place to come study as an alternative to a coffee shop. The owner was the one manning the counter and he was very friendly and you could tell him and his wife love what they do. They mix their own tea leaves, so there are some exciting flavors like wild blueberry green tea, strawberry kiwi fruit tea, etc. They even had different flavored sugar cubes you could purchase. The place is well organized with fruit/herbal, green/white, and black teas on different shelves. You can either drink the tea on site, take it out, or buy some loose leaf by the ounce, and bring some home with you. They get packaged inside a small paper bag.

I had purchased some of the loose tea online both for myself and for gifts and have been pleased with the selections, mixes, and consistency of quality. When planning a bridal shower brunch in 2014 I asked them to make some iced tea pre-mixes. They were really accommodating with planning and scheduling of picking up the items. They also gave suggestions on how to present the tea to make it even more classy. The guest enjoyed both the alcoholic and nonalcoholic options. Some of the more pro-alcohol(drunks) guests noted that the alcoholic options wasn’t that strong but but I think it was appropriately strong for a mid day bridal shower but perhaps not strong enough for a bachelorette party which that alcoholic guest apparently thought it was. Humph. The space is gorgeous and great option for hosting an event as well.

I’m not an avid tea-drinker, but I do enjoy the culture and cultivation of the product in general. When I had heard about Just Add Honey, I was really interested to find this little shop Downtown and see what they had to offer. I parked a block away off of Auburn and found the shop’s front door open for anyone to walk right in. Super welcoming. The shop just smelled like tea and pastries. Shocking — They have both. Wonderful local pastries for sale and tons of tea options lining the wall on shelves. You can either buy a cup of tea to go, have it in-house, or you can buy a bag of tea to go to make at home. I wanted to pick up a tea for my wife and the owner was super helpful and helped me pick out a tea that she now loves. I realized we don’t have a diffuser any longer and she gave me a few filters to go with the tea I chose. Super helpful and a really nice touch. There is also a great selection of local honey on the shelves to choose from. More than variety, too. I picked up some delicious Clover honey from Douglasville, GA. It has been wonderful to add to tea or even to bake with. I’m looking forward to coming back and checking out some of the other tea options and picking up something different for tea at home. Definitely worth checking this spot out if you are fan of tea or have someone in your life who loves the stuff. Pinkies out!

I came here for a private event so I didn’t get the full tea experience. But looking at the wall of teas, they had a nice assortment of flavored teas I would go back to try out. It was a cocktail event and some of the drinks were made with the tea and were really good. I think the space is great for a private event but be warned there is no bathroom within the space itself. You have to go next door which is under construction and a bit awkward to find. Also there is only street meter parking M– SA until 7pm and there are not tons of spaces. Cute little spot, I hope it succeeds since I am a tea fan.
