Excellent catering experience with King of Pops! They are responsive and really made our neighborhood food truck night special. The pops are delicious and are made with high quality ingredients.

Love, love, love KOP. I got the Blackberry Ginger Lemonade, yum! Friend got the Cookies & Cream, her quote«It literally has whole cookies in it.» It was a nice cool treat after walking around Piedmont. I was so happy to see the rainbow umbrella & the cart sitting by the dog park. I’m so glad you guys are a vendor at Turner Field now. And I can’t wait to try some of the KOP cocktails!

Hello, King of Pops! Finally got to try you this weekend on a hot ass Atlanta Sunday and you did not disappoint. We had been walking for about two hours on a rare health trip and were mixed between grabbing mimosas afterwards or some pops. MANNNNN I’m glad we chose this. There was a line but it moved quickly and these pops were bomb. Boyfriend had the chocolate sea salt and I had the banana pudding(which was delicious but not as much). My pop had a little vanilla wafer inside it; nice touch. I have to say both were super tasty and it was a lovely little treat that didn’t make me feel like Shamu afterwards. Will definitely be back, baby. Thanks for being delicious.

What can I say? I’m totally obsessed with this local pop joint and I am always super excited to see what new flavor combinations they’re cooking up. I love these pops so much I had them at my wedding. True story. This location always has a huge selection of flavors, and if you have to travel and you’re stocking up, they can give you some ice for your bag. There is also the pup pops so your furry friend can also have a tasty cool treat on a hot day and won’t feel left out when you’re enjoying your pop. My favorite flavors are the staple chocolate sea salt(of course) and the key lime pie(it legit has a piece of pie crust in the pop center). I personally love the creamy pop flavors more than the fruity ones but they’re all pretty good. Just FYI, from a calorie standpoint, the creamy pop flavors do tend to have twice the number of calories as the fruity ones. That being said, with this location you can always work off those pop calories with a nice stroll on the Beltline. If you’re wondering about daily flavors and window opening times, check out KoP’s Twitter account for updates daily! They’re also super responsive to questions via tweets. Be sure to also check out specialty pops throughout the year(Valentine’s Day flavors, girls scout cookie flavors etc just to name a few).

My husband brought these home for us, so I haven’t visited the location. He attests it was clean, friendly, and professional. My two favorite flavors so far are the Blood Orange and Caramel Sea Salt. They are the bests popsicles/cream pops I have ever had. The waxy texture you tend to get from cream pops is simply not there. These are worth every penny due to their taste, texture, and top-quality ingredients. We will definitely be back.

Love King of pops! I work around the corner at Melrose & McQueen in Inman Park. Love these guys and finally explored the Ponce City Market set up. Great place and the chocolate dipped pops are delicious! The chocolate is really yummy and I had mine with a fruity pop. Totally worth it! Not to mention the staff is super friendly.

Had a great visit here. The servers Annette and Mitchell were welcoming, knowledgeable and very friendly. They answered all our questions and chatted with us. I went with the raspberry like vodka — and it was like childhood mixed with alcohol(that doesn’t look creepy, right?). Great time! We will be back!

I eat these. My only setback is want more exotic flavors like something super sour, or spicy. They might already have them, and I don’t know though. Tomato/lemon, Lime/tamarind, mango/salsa, wild grape, grape/jalapeño, pickle-sour, kale/cucumber, cucumber/grape, mulberry. Maybe I’m thinking of those Harry Potter Jelly beans or something. Funny riddles, poems, fortunes, on the pop sticks??? That would be great. Damn good pop-scicles, keep up the good work gents!

Chocolate sea salt is awesomeness! $ 6 bucks for two pop’s @ Ponce city yesterday was a big hit for us! Highly suggest saving room for these wonderful treats. Also try the rasberry lime. If you don’t mind sharing with your friends I highly suggest getting different flavors.

«Spare some change?» «Sorry, sir. I see that you’re destitute and in need of a little help, but I just spent my last $ 8 cash buying two popsicles. Yes, you heard right. $ 8 on two popsicles. One for me. The other for my equally unapologetic cousin. I know how horrible and shortsighted you probably think we are, but these popsicles were artisanal and GMO free — GMO free! –and were sold to us by an artsy, sort of, I guess, maybe, I mean, she had on wire framed glasses at least, young lady whose icy-cool demeanor could’ve kept the whole surplus of confectionaries frozen for quite some time.» «That makes me sick.» «I know. I can’t believe people actually eat popsicles that aren’t 100 percent all natural. The only downside, we didn’t totally love our powder sugared monstrosities. It was just, like, decadent for decadent’s sake. And it took like 30 minutes to thaw on a 90-degree day.» «I’m so sorry to hear that. I’ll be sure to pray for you two tonight before I fall asleep beside the underpass.» «Thank you so much, sir. It means a lot.»

Will you marry me? Where have you been all my life? King of Pops is a hidden little gem that seems to be making its name known here in Atlanta. I work on movie sets and last summer our production team brought the KOP staff out to where we were filming and they set up a cart with several different favors. They gave us unlimited pops in the hot summer days to cool us down. That sounds more like a review for our production management than KOP but here goes the real review. AWESOME ! They area natural delicious cool treat that has some amazing new inventive, creative flavors. What else do you need to know? They have a fixed location downtown that has limited hours but they also set up stands or carts at different times around the city. Be sure to check their Facebook page or webpage for updated times and locations. These are fresh and delicious so bring a cooler and buy some to stick in your freezer for those times when you have a craving and can’t get to a distributor.

So, after my wedding, I love King of Pops even more, if that’s possible. We included 150 pops as a dessert option after dinner on our big day and everyone raved that it was one of their favorite parts of the entire wedding! So delicious and refreshing.

I can’t believe I have never reviewed King of Pops! Nothing beats a cold, delicious popsicle on a hot Atlanta day. My favorites are Mexican Chocolate and Cookies and Cream. Be sure to grab one when you are out and about in Atlanta!

I love king of pops!!! They are the reason I survived bonnaroo. I always go for the fruity ones especially in summer but the chocolate sea salt blew my mind. It reminded me so much of my childhood!!! I get popsicles all the time but When was the last time you had a fudgesicle !!! My other favorite was the strawberry lemonade and blueberry lemongrass. i am really looking forward to trying Herbs de Provence Lemonade, Cereal Milk, Kiwi Banana honey, and pear vanilla. i love that they use wholesome and local ingredients. bonus: they can ship popsicles to you too!!! i also read that they will be a vendor at tomorrowworld so i’m really looking forward to staying hydrated all day with king of pops

Best popsicle in Atlanta. Cucumber mint is refreshing and light. Blackberry ginger lemonade is more ginger than lemonade but is great. Spicy chocolate is spicy on the back end with hints of cinnamon at $ 3 a pop it’s a fun treat for not too much.

King of Pops catered gourmet popsicles at the Decatur Book Festival, and over the course of the weekend I got two free popsicles. I didn’t realize the second one was free, and was entirely prepared to shell out a few bucks for it. The popsicles were delicious, and definitely worth paying for. I had what I’m pretty sure was a blackberry ginger lemonade(I was drunk for this one but remember ginger and blackberry) and a peaches and cream, and both popsicles were delicious. Full of fruit and not too icy – iciness being, in my admittedly kind of stupid opinion on ice pops, the downfall of most popsicles. I think the peaches and cream had a touch of whiskey, which was great. I don’t think I was so hung over that I imagined that. Anyway, King of Pops is a wonderful popsicle stand, and next time I come across them I will give them my money. It looks like I have dozens of flavors left to try.

As a Pre-K teacher, I’ve been introduced to a lot of popsicles. Most have been alright, and some have been downright terrible. The first time I tried King of Pops, I was prepared for yet another mediocre popsicle. I was totally unprepared for how SPECTACULAR their pops are! Their unique flavors and adult spin on popsicles(hello, pomegranate margarita!) make them one-of-a-kind! I especially love that they have popsicles for every season. I never would’ve thought to eat something cold in the winter, but I find myself craving their Apple Cider or Gingerbread pops! I also truly appreciate the use of organic cane sugar or agave as the sweetener in a lot of their popsicles. It makes me feel better about indulging! The staff at the push carts I obsessively stalk have always been super friendly, too, which is a great bonus on top of their delicious popsicles.

Ahhh, HOTLanta is blazing hot… and what that means folks in the dirty, dirty south need a cool treat to keep us hydrated, and ultimately cool… cool as ice. Through the different festivals in Atlanta it is easy to spot one of the King of Pops portable push carts. The staff are always friendly and I love that these guys are local. Usually I pickup a pop while visiting Decatur Square, there they are $ 2.50, at other events they are usually $ 3.00, so it would be nice if they charged the same price no matter where one is picked up. One thing I really like is that these are made with real ingredients. You can see actual fruit and really taste the difference. On Saturday we had their Blackberry Pomegranate and Honey Orange Blossom at the Spring Festival on Ponce de León. Both of them were very good, just the honey orange melted quicker, though it did not last long, as I ate it in a hurry. I just noticed now after viewing their site that they even carry these in stores, such as savi urban market, wholefoods, seven hens, oakhurst market and willy’s. So I’ll have to stop by and pickup a few packs for the house. They also have tons of different flavours too. Until next time! Stay cool.
